PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Wellbeing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of children and young people attending our camps. They will assess the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children and young people attending camp to determine the support needed during the camp experience. They will work alongside volunteers and colleagues to implement support strategies at camp that meet these needs.
They must assess, respond to, and escalate safeguarding concerns. The successful candidate will be a registered Children's Nurse with experience in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) or a special interest in children's mental health. They will work closely with camp staff, healthcare professionals, and volunteers to create a nurturing environment that supports the diverse needs and will contribute, when appropriate to nursing / clinical knowledge to ensure a safe and effective service.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Over The Wall seeks an individual passionate about the well-being needs of children and young people who use our service. You will also be a qualified nurse and occasionally use your clinical knowledge and skills to support the OTW Nursing Team when necessary.
Knowledge and expertise:
- Apply the basic principles of child and adolescent development and theoretical knowledge to work with children, young people, and their families.
- Sensitively relate to children and families of diverse backgrounds.
- Establish effective relationships and interactions, using age and developmentally appropriate approaches, to identify children and young people’s interests, strengths and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to identify health and wellbeing issues for specific groups of children/young people and for individuals.
- Work with families, professionals and children and young people to identify and plan for their psychosocial and safeguarding needs at camp.
- Work with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement integrated individualised care plans, encompassing interventions and/or strategies to support children/young people’s and families camp experience.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to establish a camp environment in which children/young people feel safe, welcomed, respected and encouraged.
- Attend camp as a member of the Support Team, with a specific focus on behaviour, social and emotional needs (including mental health), and safeguarding.
- Supervise, mentor and support volunteers and staff in managing campers’ psychosocial wellbeing and behaviour at camp.
- Work collaboratively with the Nursing Team and the Clinical Team to ensure integrated holistic care.
- Ensure systems to monitor camper psychosocial wellbeing at camp are followed.
- Liaise with parents/carers and professionals as appropriate to support campers’ experience at camp.
- Deliver training and supervision around psychosocial issues, behaviour and safeguarding.
- Attend the relevant multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to coordinated assessment and support, raise any concerns and seek advice.
- Monitor and review the impact of interventions.
- Maintains and updates own clinical expertise.
- Takes every reasonable opportunity for maintaining, developing and acquiring competencies and skills for self-development.
- Provides support and guidance to Camper Recruitment Team and other staff around wellbeing and determining camper suitability.
- Leads the discussions with families and campers' wellbeing/psychosocial teams to clarify any issues/concerns and assess the suitability of the campers for camp.
- Ensures the provision of care is in accordance with OTW polices & procedures.
- Ensures high standards of care planning and documentation.
- Works autonomously to provide specialist knowledge to inform sound decision making.
- Contributes to the allocation of campers, taking into consideration individual camper needs and dependencies.
Camper Engagement:
- Develop informative, engaging, and relevant pre-camp communications for campers and their families.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide creative age and developmentally appropriate methods for engaging children, young people and their families in the development and evaluation of services.
- Advocate for the needs of children and young people.
Record Keeping and Administration:
- Maintain accurate, factual, and contemporaneous records of camper/family contacts and interactions.
- Ensure personal information or observations about individual children/young people are appropriately shared with colleagues to support integrated multidisciplinary care.
- Record and report all concerns relating to needs assessment or safeguarding children to the appropriate member of staff.
- Keep objective and contemporaneous records of contacts, interventions and outcomes for campers and be able to utilise this information to inform future assessments and practice.
- Represents the organisation within internal and external networks.
- Promotes the corporate image of OTW to all individuals, groups, and organisations.
- Demonstrates professional attitude in dealing with campers/families, visitors/relatives, and colleagues, maintaining good relationships.
Networking:
- Develop strong and collaborative professional links within health and social care.
- Develop strong relationships within SeriousFun Children’s Network.
- Work alongside the Clinical and Recruitment Director, Nursing Coordinator and the Camp Director, as well as the wider staff team and clinical volunteers to ensure that care, treatment and service needs are met.

- Provides reports as necessary.
- Collates as required quantitative and qualitative information.

- Ensures the efficient and effective use of stock, provisions and equipment within delegated budgets.
- Ensures adequate supply of clinical equipment at camp, supporting the warehouse and logistics operative.
Physical, mental & emotional effort:
- Travels within the UK and spends significant time away from home at camp and head office.
- Manages unpredictable work pattern and load.
- Demonstrates a flexible approach in working practices in order to meet the changes in service needs and emerging demands.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Registered Children’s Nurse with current NMC (or equivalent) registration.
- Degree.
- Evidence of recent CPD.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children and/or young people.
- Minimum of 3 years post-nursing qualification.
- Experience in responding to and de-escalating challenging behaviour.
- Experience in undertaking risk assessment.
- Understanding of the developmental, social, emotional and practical impact of serious illness on children/young people and their families.
- Experience in assessing and/ or supporting mental health.
- Understanding of current child protection/safeguarding law and effect disclosure management.
- Able to travel to range of locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the strategy to build philanthropic giving at EHAAT in consultation with the CEO, Executive Team, Trustees and Development Board, to support the charity’s objectives and long term aims.
- Deliver a fundraising plan across the Philanthropy & Partnerships team, including major giving, legacies, trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships, to achieve agreed strategic objectives.

• Act as a trusted, technical specialist for our business systems, by developing a comprehensive and rigorous knowledge-base of the software architecture, whilst overseeing its maintenance and ensuring the department (and by extension, the organisation) benefits from its full capabilities.

Purpose of the Job
To strategically lead and manage our existing CYP services that range from being both clinical and non clinical (Mental Health Support Teams in Schools, Circle crisis prevention café for children and young people, Whole School Approach, Be Kind to Your Mind). The role will lead, manage and oversee the Youth Services team and a range of projects that support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

Growth and Development
- To lead, develop and maintain the strategy, business plan and budget for Youth Services.
- To lead on service development through the identification of unmet needs, local priorities and project opportunities and the development of proposals and bids.
- To work closely with the CEO and Head of Business Development on potential new funded projects, writing or inputting into proposal/bids.
- To support the development of outreach and communications materials about services and impact.
Lead on Projects
- To provide overall leadership and oversight for project contracts.
- To oversee the implementation of needs assessments and data analysis to ensure that services are relevant to the needs of stakeholders and meet identified service gaps.
- To ensure that KPIs for all projects are met and have continuous oversight of this and any improvement actions that need to be taken.
- To lead and oversee effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) systems (both qualitative and quantitative) evidence base are in place, monitoring key outcomes of the service and produce quality reports.
- To oversee and ensure evidence of key outcomes are in place and inform improving quality programme delivery and service development.
- To lead and oversee reporting to funders (and other stakeholders where required) in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and expertise to staff.
- Any other reasonable ad hoc tasks as requested by CEO and in line with the needs of the service.
Partnership Working
- To develop excellent working relationships with commissioners, potential commissioners, partners across North-West London.
- To lead on providing the oversight for partner SLAs and contracts.
- To ensure in contracts where HFEH Mind is the project lead that partners are supported to achieve project deliverables and targets and provide timely M&E to be included in reports to funders.

Programme
Young Greenwich is an integrated programme commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The key purpose of the programme is to enable young people to develop holistically, working with them to facilitate their personal, social, and educational aspirations with an aim to develop their voice and reach their full potential. The programme is led by NHS Oxleas Foundation Trust (Oxleas) and delivered with partners Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) who together with METRO form the Young Greenwich Partnership. ROLE PURPOSE
As our Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover, 0.8 FTE, Fixed term for 12 months), you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting our charity and strengthening our administration and governance. You will be providing flexible assistance primarily to our CEO, in the planning and delivery of their workload. You will also provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, Trustee Board and other structured groups which shape the charity’s strategy and activities, for example our Clinical Advisory Group. As such, you will have the opportunity to work with the entire Student Minds team and a variety of stakeholders across the health and higher education sectors.
Key responsibilities:
Chief Executive Officer assistance
- Email and calendar management: helping to prioritise demands, responding to correspondence on behalf of the CEO and following up with contacts post-meetings.
- Arrange meetings and itineraries and coordinate travel as required.
- Stakeholder management support: utilising CRM to maintain updated databases for organisational contacts; support with the completion of contracts and registering purchase orders with suppliers,where the CEO is the lead contact.
Meeting management
- Plan and coordinate relevant meetings to ensure they are purposeful and relevant. These will include Board meetings, Senior Leadership Team Meetings, Leadership Group meetings and any other general committee meetings.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for all meetings, arranging suitable meeting premises or software, preparing and circulating agendas and meeting papers in consultation with the relevant participants (e.g. Chair of the Board, CEO and Senior Leadership Team).
- Coordinate catering requirements and liaise with the finance team to make purchases.
- Take high-quality and accurate meeting minutes and circulate them for appropriate approval and sign-off.
- Ensure prompt follow-up with agreed action points and follow through with ongoing delivery of commitments.
Governance support
- Provide administrative support where applicable to meet the charity’s requirements with
- Companies House and the Charity Commission.
- Support with Trustee recruitment, induction and training.
- Support the charity’s continuous improvement and compliance using tools such as the Governance
- Code.
Senior Leadership Team coordination
- Support with coordinating multi-stakeholder meetings, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support members of the Senior Leadership Team or their guests with the use of our core systems and software (Google Workspace, Google Meet, Slack, Mural, Zoom).
- Process any travel expenses for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage charity records: provide historical reference by supporting procedures for the retention and disposal of records.
- Welcome guests and provide tours of facilities or support guests to use online meeting software where required.
Other duties
- Such other duties as may be reasonably prescribed by the organisation, appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of this post.
- Provide cover for other team members as necessary to ensure seamless operations and support across the organisation.
- Work to agreed charity and personal targets.
- Attend regular team meetings with Student Minds colleagues.

The Child and Family Specialist role is part of an exciting and innovative jointly commissioned service between London Borough of Harrow and NW London NHS and represent an exciting partnership with Anna Freud. The Early Intervention and Prevention Service is a community wellbeing team for children and families.
The Child and Family Specialist will work in partnership with schools, children and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health or behavioural difficulties through undertaking assessments and providing interventions. The post-holder will also: provide specialist advice and support to school staff in the identification of mental health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources; and actively contribute to outcome monitoring and service improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Anna Freud’s thriving Clinical Help offers in the Schools Division. The post-holder will offer a range of clinical activities to address mental health needs in children and young people, including assessment and direct individual and group work with young and parents/carers.
The post-holder will be supported through supervision and will deliver consultation, training, and workshops to non-mental health staff.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Operations Manager to join our Retail Team. This role will require the successful candidate to be responsible for running the logistics required for a disperse network of charity shops, including the supply and distribution of stock; management of suppliers, landlords and associated stakeholders and ensuring that all compliance requirements are fulfilled.
The role will also support the delivery of the retail strategy to drive income growth and increase footfall and to support new business initiatives.
Role Requirements
Operational Management
- Manage the generation and distribution of stock, including organising the logistics for van deliveries and collections to meet both shops and customer requirements.
- Support the development and optimisation of the Redhill distribution hub.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, landlords and internal support teams, ensuring that an efficient and compliant service is maintained.
- Research opportunities to reduce waste and disposal costs and introduce new/improved sources of recycling.
- Develop proposals to improve the operational management of the retail team in support of the retail strategy.
- Work with the Head of Retail and Retail Sales Manager to host Retail Sales Meetings, engaging the team with the broader aims of the charity.
Income Generation
- Manage the full gift aid claim process, working with colleagues and shops managers to optimise gift aid conversion rates.
- Manage the shops e-commerce and online operations, research and implement associated platforms.
- Support sales promotions and seasonal changes across the chain of shops.
- Support colleagues to develop opportunities for niche sales offers.
- Regularly review shops departmental sales performance to support sourcing and supply of specific stock.
- Working with fundraising colleagues to ensure that the retail supporter journey is optimised and relationships are managed holistically.
Standards and Compliance
- Manage full compliance of the Children’s Trust shops in line with all Health & Safety legislation, Fire safety, Trading Standards, Retail Gift Aid, GDPR, ThankQ CRM, Risk Assessments, Safeguarding and all other legal or statutory requirements.
- Deliver and manage internal and external audit processes working with Retail Sales Manager and Head of Retail to ensure that all audit actions and recommendations are delivered by the team.
