Job Description
- Coordinate the organisation and communication of sports fixtures to home and opposition teams in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and London Universities Sports Leagues (LUSL) competitions.
- Support the Campus Manager with the delivery of sports club committee training.
- Act as the main point of contact for sports club captains for sports queries.
- Act as the main point of contact for opposition institutions.
- Coordinate entries into BUCS, LUSL and one-off sports competitions.
- Maintain accurate records of team members and contacts using the systems available.
- Maintain accurate budgets for all expenditure and income for all Team Greenwich Clubs.
- Manage MSL system to support Team Greenwich memberships, events, income and products.
- Maintain GSU What’s on Page to consistently reflect the Sports calendar and offer throughout the year.
- Collaborate with Team Greenwich Clubs & Members to promote and highlight any events, success stories and impact.
- Coordinate student sports club’s facility bookings internally and externally.
- Coordinate all Team Greenwich Clubs in relation to entries, fixtures, officials, facilities and any other administrative activities.
- Support any potential society or GSU move sessions / groups in transitioning to Team Greenwich Sports Clubs.
- Attend relevant meetings, drop-ins, support workshops, development events when required.
- Process club charges for competitions on GSU systems as required.
- Record accurate student data on engagement levels and present an annual written report on student engagement.
- Support the development of Team Greenwich Clubs with league, fixture and events coordination.
- Provide administrative support for collecting and reporting on feedback related to Team Greenwich members.
- Develop appropriate transport policies and solutions for student sport.

Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning of the GSU Awards in relation to Sports Clubs nominations
- Management of student staff to support all /any Team Greenwich events / socials.
- Comply with Greenwich Student Union policies, procedures at all times.

About the role
- Leading on a busy needle exchange service, you will offer harm reduction advice & support to all people who access the service.
- You will oversee stock levels and ordering of new supplies, with an emphasis on ensuring all stock is stored safely.
- You will ensure policies, procedures, and quality control are in place for all people and staff when carrying out the Needle Exchange and further develop good practice.
- Delivering a non-judgemental, non-coercive needle exchange service that centres each person’s own goals in regard to their substance use and overall wellness.
- You will lead on delivery of Naloxone distribution & training internally and to external partners
- You have excellent communication skills and can create positive working relationships with a wide range of people, including external services.
- You will support the development of the service and ensure that you are delivering a solution-focussed and strength-based approach.

Role Overview:
We are searching for a candidate with excellent people management skills to fill the role of Mental Health and Wellbeing Manager at Depaul UK, London. You will help us to promote positive mental health coping strategies and the overall wellbeing of clients, volunteers and staff through various practices that ultimately empower people to take control of their own mental health and wellbeing.
You will develop relevant structures and processes that support front line staff in dealing with young people with poor mental health including supporting staff to better navigate statutory mental health services and provide greater advocacy for those facing crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise project workers and help build capacity in those staff and volunteers supporting clients in improving and maintaining positive wellbeing
- Develop a suite of wellbeing resources including workshop and activities for staff, volunteers and young people to attend and benefit from
- Provide reports as required for funders and management
- Consult with HR and other relevant stakeholders to implement an effective mental health and wellbeing training scheme for staff, volunteers and clients
- Ensure lone working, safeguarding and quality assurance measures are followed and managed appropriately, reporting any relevant issues in accordance with project procedures in a timely manner
- Build local partnerships with statutory and community mental health and wellbeing organisations and services that lead to greater outcomes for our clients

What We Are Looking For – Person Specification:
- Experience and demonstrable understanding of challenges faced by people facing homelessness, and in particular of issues facing people with mental health challenges
- Experience of supporting people facing a broad range of complex mental health and wellbeing issues in particular advising on crisis response and action needed
- Understanding and knowledge of government mental health policy, direction and strategic development
- Knowledge of relevant networks in both statutory and community settings
- Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding practices and processes

To manage, guide and direct the mentoring and practical support which DYP’s volunteers provide to young unaccompanied asylum seekers and refugees and, when necessary, to provide mentoring alongside the volunteers.
