As the Head of Relationship Fundraising at Centrepoint, you will be a pivotal member of our Fundraising Leadership Team (FLT), spearheading the strategic direction and expansion of our high-value giving portfolio. - Crafting and executing a dynamic Relationship Fundraising strategy, fostering collaborative efforts across teams to maximize the potential of high-value income streams.

JOB PURPOSE

ABOUT THE ROLE

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Development and delivery of the charity’s fundraising strategy
· To work closely with the CEO and trustee board to lead on the development, planning and delivery the Doorstep Library’s fundraising strategy, with further development of a longer-term strategy;
· To manage and build upon the income streams for the charity;
· To take a lead on application bids, including managing, monitoring and evaluating all funding applications;

Grow, develop and sustain our partnerships and income streams

Communications
· Work with the Marketing Officer to implement improvements to our digital presence, including website optimization, social media strategy, and online advertising campaigns;

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Criteria
1. A proven track record of delivery results in fundraising and/or partnership management

2. Job Description
The Head of External Engagement is a key leadership post within the organisation. The role encompasses responsibility for the development and delivery of the organisation’s external activity, including profile, brand identity and stakeholder engagement (including the public), fundraising, and driving income generation in new areas, notably commercial partnerships. Leadership and management
External leadership:
· Represent Sound and Music publicly, including through stakeholder and supporter events

Internal leadership:

Strategy and planning

The Epilepsy Research Institute serves as the central hub for the epilepsy research community. Our mission is to radically advance research into the causes, prevention and treatment of epilepsy and associated conditions. The Institute aims to strengthen the epilepsy research ecosystem by driving strategic investment and developing partnerships and collaborations between academia, the NHS, industry, funders, patient groups and people affected by epilepsy. Central to all we do is a culture of advocating and actioning the research priorities of people affected by epilepsy.
Underpinning our strategy are six themed research programmes, each with a task force group led by leading UK scientists and clinicians. These research themes are driving a programme to secure large-scale research investment which will feed into an overall roadmap for research into epilepsy.

The Institute is seeking to employ a Head of Finance to lead the financial administration of the organisation through its next stage of development.
We are looking for an experienced Finance manager, as a qualified accountant who is ideally experienced in working with a charity or research environment. The post holder will be a self-starter that relishes a challenge, who is prepared to support and develop the Finance function of the Institute. They will need to be a hands-on Head of Finance who understands the mechanics of working within a small organisation, with competing and evolving priorities.
