Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the strategy to build philanthropic giving at EHAAT in consultation with the CEO, Executive Team, Trustees and Development Board, to support the charity’s objectives and long term aims.
- Deliver a fundraising plan across the Philanthropy & Partnerships team, including major giving, legacies, trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships, to achieve agreed strategic objectives.

About this job
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our supportive and fun team at a time when exciting people plans are starting to take shape for the MS Society.
You’ll be an experienced HR Business Partner, with the ability to hit the ground running, to lead on a number of exciting upcoming HR projects for 2024.
Our organisation is transforming the way in which it works and the HR team will be at the heart of these changes, supporting managers and teams on a variety of projects.
You’ll have worked in a similar role at this level. You’ll have substantial experience of:
- Providing expert employee relations advice and support on serious and complex cases
- Supporting on a variety of people projects
- Supporting various organisational changes
As part of the HR Operations team you will be responsible for providing an efficient, friendly and a high quality service to customers across the organisation.
From providing first line advice, guidance and support with casework, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and sickness absence.
In addition, you’ll be undertaking a range of associated general HR transactional activities.
You’ll have:
- A CIPD qualification (ideally level 7) or equivalent
- Experience of working in a HR environment, having sound knowledge of employment law and employee relations procedures.
- Experience of employee dispute resolution.
- Experience of working with an HRIS, including data management and reporting.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the Trinity Team, supporting the Head of Finance in the day to day running of the finance department and in the preparation of the accounts for both Royal Trinity Hospice and Trinity Hospice Shops Limited.
Overall purpose of the role
- Support the production for the monthly management accounts
- Assist in the preparation of the annual reports and financial statements
- Manage the sales ledger for both Royal Trinity Hospice and Trinity Hospice Shops Limited
- Prepare weekly sales reports and weekly cash flow statements
- Assist with the general work of the Finance Department as required
Skills and experience required
- CCAB membership – Qualified or AAT / Equivalent
- Understanding of accounting double-entry and accounting concepts
- Competence in MS Office suite with accurate keyboard skills
- Advanced excel user; being able to write and combine formulas ie SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX, MATCH, PIVOT TABLES and LOOKUP
- Experience of preparing and analysing complex financial information
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Experience of working in the charity sector and or understanding of charity taxation would be advantageous

Cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better are looking for a qualified accountant to cover a Finance and Business Partner (part time – 3 days per week ) period of maternity leave. Responsible for:
- Supporting the Fundraising and Programmes teams, providing financial information and analysis to senior management, helping them make more informed decisions.
- Working alongside the Senior Fundraising Manager to ensure that the Fundraising CRM system holds correct information for all income received.
- Working with the Head of Programme Services to ensure accurate reporting of patient performance information
- Supporting on all areas of Charity and Trading Company tax compliance.

- Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end / year-end reporting as required.
Outline of the Role:
The role is the pivotal connection between Finance and the Fundraising and Workshop Delivery teams.
The role supports the Fundraising Director and Fundraising team with their understanding and knowledge of not only how to approach any new fundraising initiatives (to ensure they are financially complaint), but also to advise on any tax/Vat concerns.
The role also supports the Head of Programme Services and the wider Programmes team, with their planning, forecasting and reporting, providing key support with Excel modelling.
A member of the very small finance team, the Finance Business Partner will support the Financial Controller with month and year end input, analysis and reporting.
