Job description

The Head of Philanthropy is responsible for leading the philanthropy team and, working closely with the Director of Development, setting and delivering on targets for income, managing a portfolio of donors raising around £3m in unrestricted and £1m in restricted income.

The Head of Philanthropy will actively solicit from donors and prospects in the UK, Europe and beyond, and work closely with the Development Board and other high-level stakeholder to build our network of active supporters.

Role Requirements

The post holder will have significant philanthropy management experience, with extensive experience of actively soliciting and managing donor relationships. The Head of Philanthropy will have strong influencing ability and gravitas for internal and external engagement, excellent organisational skills, be a strategic thinker and a strong leader in motivation and guiding staff.
