Job description

Are you enthusiastic about the world of fundraising? Do you like working in a challenging and rewarding environment? Are you fascinated by the history of churches and their role in 21st century Britain?

As the independent, UK-wide charity supporting churches, chapels and meeting houses of all Christian denominations, the National Churches Trust supports and promotes church buildings of historic, architectural and community value by inspiring support, preserving heritage and promoting sustainability. Our aims are to help maintain the UK’s heritage of church buildings and to enhance their ability to serve local communities; to promote the benefit to communities of church buildings, and to inspire everyone to value and enjoy them.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Trust as Fundraising Officer. Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Officer and the Head of Finance & Operations, this is an excellent opportunity to work for a national charity across a range of supporter services and fundraising functions. The post-holder will be the first point of call for all enquiries or donations from our Friends and supporters, ensuring those who come into contact with the Trust are dealt with professionally and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, including managing tasks and projects, and good attention to detail and accuracy. With a confident and professional manner, they will also have excellent communication skills, financial acumen and good IT literacy.

To apply, please send a CV together with covering letter to Anna Tham via the Apply button.
