Kinship is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to provide a range of coordination and administrative support to our development team as part of Kinship Carer Training and Support Service, funded by the Department for Education.
What you'll be doing:

Supporting the Development team to engage Local Authorities and other strategic partners in Kinship’s work

The role
As Head of Insight, you will lead the development of the evidence and insight programme to inform our strategy and support our policy, public affairs and influencing work within the healthcare system. Our evidence and insight programme is helping us to understand more about the breadth of experiences of everyone living with Crohn’s or colitis across the UK including those in diverse communities. You will work with our Evidence and Insight Advisory Board and a range of agencies, partners, researchers, clinicians and stakeholders, including people with lived experience.
The programme includes developing a new dashboard, co-produced with people with lived experience, providing a visual representation of the impact that Crohn’s and Colitis has on people’s lives across health, education, employment and finances.
About you
You will have knowledge and awareness of the UK health environment and be experienced in using health data, research, evidence and insight to influence or communicate with stakeholders.
Although you will not be doing research yourself, you will be contracting agencies and researchers to commission pieces of work and gather data to support the charity in all its activities.
You will have experience of leading teams and managing programmes in the NHS, charity, wider health or research sectors.

At our North West London Home, we are recruiting a Head of Kennels who will share our compassion and commitment for animal welfare to provide front line leadership to our team of Kennel and Animal Care staff and volunteers. We care for up to fifteen dogs on site, in addition to dogs placed into foster homes. Our Head of Kennels is responsible for managing the day-to-day smooth running of our kennels and maintaining the wellbeing of all dogs in our care, so that their individual physical and psychological needs are catered for adequately, and in line with our standards and ethics.

Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing security events working as part of a blended cyber security team with our 24x7 MDR partner, predominantly using the Microsoft Security Stack to leverage industry standard response lifecycles
- Maintaining a working knowledge of response frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&K
- Configuring and refining alerting and leveraging automation and orchestration
- Working closely with GRC colleagues to deploy, refine, and monitor applicable cyber security controls
- Working closely with Infrastructure colleagues in response to security events
- Providing recommendations for the hardening of infrastructure and processes
- Maintaining knowledge bases, and incident playbooks
- Contributing to the development of policies, standards and guidelines with colleagues in GRC

MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon.
The Head of Institutional Funding role is based in the Programmes Team, line managing the IF team and close cooperation with programme funding colleagues in Gaza, West Bank and Lebanon. The role has a broad remit covering developing and formalising framework agreements, programme design, proposal development and reports (narrative and financial), scoping and relationship development with relevant institutional donors. The role will also focus on prospect research and development. The role is based in London, with strong relationships to our projects and partners in Lebanon, the West Bank and Gaza.

Mayhew is a unique organisation. Our passionate and diverse team of around 80 staff and 150 volunteers provides expert veterinary care, rescue and rehoming services, programmes in the community, and guidance and support to improve the lives of dogs and cats in need, in London and abroad. Currently the need for our services is greater than ever so we are looking to recruit an Head RVN with an interest in shelter and charity medicine.
We have had a community vet clinic on site at our historic Northwest London shelter since 1925. For nearly 100 years, our London clinic has delivered many tens of thousands of treatments to dogs and cats. Through our modern, well equipped veterinary clinic we provide a range of preventative veterinary treatments free of charge, and without judgment, to those who are unable to afford it. We also carry out a wide range of surgeries and treatments in order to prepare the Mayhew animals in our care for rehoming.

Our Clinic operates 7-days per week and open to the public Monday to Saturday. Our Head RVN works 35 hours per week, 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. From time to time to we require extra cover on weekends and bank holidays, and out of office hours in the event of an emergency.
