This is a new role working closely with the Head of Finance to support NFCC to manage our contracts and written agreements from drafting to completion. The role will work to support the wider staff team.
What you will be doing:
- Drafting and/or amending and negotiating contracts and other written agreements, such as Data Sharing Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements/Non-Disclosure Agreements, taking into consideration any relevant funding terms and conditions.
- Drafting and/or amending and negotiating other types of agreements from time to time as instructed
- Working with the NFCC staff team to produce relevant documentation required for procurement processes
- Completing research and due diligence checks on potential suppliers or partners
- Articulating, capturing and implementing contractual issues
- Negotiating contract terms with both internal and external entities
- Reviewing existing contracts and updating them
- Support contract owners to ensure effective monitoring of contractual performance
- Analysing risks associated with specific contract terms
- Creating language standards for new contract documents or existing ones
- Providing detailed reporting to the involved parties at the end of a contract

Who we are looking for:
A proactive, analytical individual with experience of draft contracts and other written agreements. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable using MS Office applications and other IT systems such as Sage.

The Role

We are SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, for everyone and for good.
Last year alone, 14,000 professionals received our training. Over 80,000 adults at risk of serious harm or murder and more than 100,000 children received support through dedicated multi-agency support designed by us and delivered with partners. Our training programme significantly improves the ability of domestic abuse professionals and other frontline responders and organisations, including police, children’s social care staff, and corporate HR and community teams, to identify and respond to domestic abuse and closely linked issues. We take a holistic approach, looking at the whole family and the connections between them to keep families safe sooner. We offer a whole range of training products, including accredited professional training (e.g. Idva, Ypva), accreditation of specialist DA services (Leading Lights), and bespoke services for public, voluntary and commercial organisations.

About the role
As Employment Brokerage Officer, you will be passionate and understand your role in ending and preventing homelessness by engaging and partnering with employers and other stakeholders who share our mission to end homelessness. You will work closely with all Client Service teams across London to identify employment needs of members and find employers who can deliver opportunities which meet these needs.

Are you interested in joining a dynamic team that contributes to educating doctors to deliver the best care to their patients? If so, the Learning Projects Officer could be the opportunity for you.
The Learning Projects Officer will be responsible for developing new learning programmes designed for Clinical Radiologists and Clinical Oncologists at any (and all) stages of their careers, wherever they practice. The role holder will work alongside the RCR Learning team to understand our members’ needs and in response develop high-quality, income-generating educational pilots and resources.
What you’ll do:
- Develop from conception to completion in collaboration with colleagues several high-quality learning programmes on time and within budget.
- Be responsible for the quality of newly developed programmes beyond the project completion.
- Undertake desk-based research and horizon scanning to inform the decision-making process for the development of new learning programmes.
- Work with the Learning Technologist and Learning Technology Coordinator to produce quality digital learning content.
- Track the ongoing performance of programmes and resources against agreed metrics.
- Develop and maintain faculty pools comprised of UK-based doctors.
- Create a project plan for each learning programme with clear goals, targets, budgets and deadlines.
What you’ll need:
- Experience delivering high standard projects on time and in budget.
- Experience with stakeholder management, working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Ability to initiate and lead projects independently and with minimal supervision.
- Effective interpersonal and teamworking skills to help negotiate, solve problems, and share knowledge with internal and external stakeholders where needed.
- Clear and analytical thinker with the ability to exercise sound initiative, judgement and discretion and think through issues to offer practical solutions.
