As we move into large-scale programme delivery and evaluation, we are expanding the Programmes and Grant Directorate with two new Heads of Programmes roles. As Head of Programmes, you will manage the work of a cross-functional team delivering a programme of grants, research, evaluation, communications, youth involvement and associated activity. You will make connections to relevant stakeholders and wider debates, positioning Youth Futures as an organisation at the forefront of thinking and practice in your programme area(s). You will work closely with externally-facing colleagues to feed learning and insight from funded programmes into our policy work, employer engagement and public communications. Context and Background
The innovative services that we develop are a critical part of the NSPCC’s fight for every childhood. We transform lives by working directly with some of the most vulnerable children and families. This role will help develop our service offer in respect of preventing and tackling child sexual abuse, with a focus on the ongoing development, coordination and implementation of our secondary education service. This aims to support secondary education settings to be places that foster healthy relationships and keep, young people safe from abuse.
Job purpose
• Scoping, leading and project managing programmes, services and products within the Development and Implementation Team within set timescales and budgets.

Key relationships - Internal
Reporting to the Associate Head of Development with close links to the Head of Development and Implementation, the post holder will work closely with an internal project team, managing workstream leads from digital, comms, content development, schools service, income generation and subject matter experts and have frequent interaction at Director level and other senior stakeholders. They will be in frequent contact with multiple teams and directorates as they operate a matrix style of project development.

This role will develop relationships at Director level and other senior stakeholders across a range of external partners including from Education, Children Services, Police, Health Partners and the third sector for the purpose of influencing, learning, collaboration and engagement. About the position
The Just Energy Transition and Natural Resources programme is focused on advancing human rights in business, in support toa fast and fair transition to clean energy and zero carbon economies. We seek to promote human rights across the renewable energy and batteries value chain. We are focused on mining for transition minerals, the installation of renewable energy where the fast transition is increasingly endangered by companies’ poor human rights record and policies, the lack of investor due diligence, and the absence of adequate regulation. A just transition will be one that, at minimum, ensures respect for human rights, fair negotiations, and shared prosperity with workers and communities.
The successful candidate will help lead strategic research and analysis on the renewable energy value chain from a corporate accountability perspective. This will include generating new insights and propositions for a more just energy transition through the analysis of structural causes of corporate abuse in these supply chains. In particular, the researcher will help us deepen our efforts to embed human rights, and protect and amplify the voices of human rights defenders, as an essential part of the response to the climate crisis, and a core component of the global work towards a just transition. As the Resource Centre expands its advocacy on improving the human rights policies and practices of companies in the renewable energy value chain, the senior researcher will play a key role in supporting:
- Research on community engagement, community equity models and other forms of benefit-sharing – focusing in particular on (i) unpacking cases and recommendations for ‘meaningful engagement’ with communities in the context of transition minerals mining projects, (ii) examples of Indigenous co-ownership and ownership of renewable energy and mining projects;
- Regional teams in their work on local just transitions and evidence of corporate abuses in the context of the current boom of exploration, licensing of transition minerals mining projects;
- Advocacy towards and engagement with investors and their coalitions on our just energy transition messaging and core products - Transition Minerals Tracker, Renewable Energy Benchmark, and investor guidance;

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct and help manage in-depth research: design and help lead team in delivering high impact research and analyses that assess company abuses, policy, and practice in renewable energy and transition mineral mining sectors, particularly through the team’s core products including the Transition Mineral Tracker, Renewable Energy and Human Rights Benchmark, and resources and guidance for investors. Essential skills and experience

At least three years’ experience in project delivery, research, campaigning, or policy and advocacy in these areas. - Research, analytical, and writing skills: Strong experience in researching and writing briefings. Skill and enthusiasm to deliver compelling evidence and analysis, handle big data sets, and design rigorous methodologies regarding corporate abuses of human rights. Able to search and identify relevant information online and offline; adept at undertaking systematic data collection to a high level of detail and accuracy; ability to generate compelling and feasible propositions for change in policy and practice that drive systematic change. Experience in understanding corporate finance, different ownership structure, investment structures in private and public markets, and/or alternative economic models is highly desirable. While not a large part of the role, experience in conducting primary research at a community level is desirable.

About You

Purpose of the role
One of the core elements of this work is the production of the Freedom of Thought Report. The Report examines every country in the world for its record on upholding the rights and equality for non-religious people. We consider issues of legal discrimination and outright persecution and violence. The Report is essential to our awareness-raising efforts of the persecution faced by the non-religious.
Humanists International is embarking on a 2-year programme of work in order to realize some long-term improvements to the Freedom of Thought Report. We are looking for an enthusiastic research coordinator to join our team and participate in all stages of the publication process.
As a research coordinator you will support the Casework & Campaigns Manager to administer, plan and produce the Freedom of Thought Report, providing evidenced-based research to shape and influence human rights policy as it pertains to the non-religious.
This is a predominantly home-based role, but does require the attendance of in-person events such as the General Assembly and Team Building, as required.

Projects Manager role description
The role involves identifying project and research opportunities; developing winning bids; project management and project delivery. Examples of recent projects include developing a water scarcity index for BSi and creating an evaluation framework for water saving campaigns. Consortium hosts the largest network of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans + groups, projects and organisations in the UK (600 members) and offers a range of support so that they can deliver vital support and services to over 5 million LGBT+ people, their friends and families. We are also a specialist grant funder, having provided over £1.75m in grants since 2019, across 275 awards, with this being an exciting area of growth falling within the remit of this role.
We are recruiting for a Head of Partnerships and Development who will support our charity, and the LGBT+ sector, to continue growth in an appropriate and sustainable way. As Head of Partnerships & Development you will be responsible for managing key business partnerships, identifying new potential income streams (for Consortium & the LGBT+ sector), and exploring opportunities to increase the impact of our work.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development (Alumni and Support Engagement), you will be at the forefront of driving their insight program to achieve DAE's ambitious objectives. This is to maximise engagement and fundraising income for the University of Warwick. About you:
As Head of Systems and Insight, ideally you will have an understanding and knowledge of fundraising and alumni engagement systems, including Blackbaud, CRM, Raiser’s Edge, and other fundraising platforms. In addition, you will:
• Be a strategic leader with experience in data and insight, with a strong understanding of data governance principles, data management, and data quality concepts.
• Working knowledge of UK, charity sector regulations and guidance, for example Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice

Your purpose
This year Voice 21 are recruiting to a newly formed Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs department to help address these challenges. As Campaigns Manager, you will support the Head of Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs to make oracy education ordinary, co-ordinating and project managing communications campaigns as well as leading content delivery. In doing so, you will play an integral role in ensuring all children, regardless of their background, find their voice for success in school and in life.
Your responsibilities
● Play a senior role in the Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs team, as part of the wider Learning, Impact and Influence directorate
Campaigns (70%)
● Responsible for developing and delivering integrated campaigns working closely with Fundraising, Marketing, Customer Service and Service Delivery teams.
● This will include, but is not limited to: growing charity awareness, recruitment and retention, growing our advocacy base and policy change campaigns
● Taking a lead role in development and project management, you will deliver our national campaigns and business as usual communications projects
● Utilising matrix management, you'll bring internal and external teams and freelancers together to oversee all aspects of our campaigns.
● Engaging the entire marketing mix, you'll develop, implement, integrate, and evaluate campaigns across various channels, including PR, digital, advertising, and influencer amplification
● Planning, delivering and leading purposeful and planned communications cycles & campaigns
● Delivering and using implementable insights from analysis and user intelligence
Content and brand (30%)
● Creating, co-creating and commissioning communications materials and content and proactively spotting new opportunities to raise awareness of our work across the sector
