Oasis Project is recruiting a Head of Fundraising and Development. As Head of Fundraising and Development, you will work with our board of trustees, senior leadership team and staff. You will manage and develop the fundraising, communications, and marketing functions, to promote the implementation of Oasis Project’s new strategy for 2024-27. You will lead and deliver on income generation targets which support the mid and long-term sustainability of Oasis Project. You will have:

- Read, understand and influence mental health strategy reports, CYP & Adult plans, developments in the field of young people/adults and mental health and having a clear grasp of the agenda driving our customers/commissioners. This is a part time position of 28 hours per week over 5 days (or some of these days) with the working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate.
From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. This pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.
During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced proportionately to 22.5 hours per week, spanning Monday to Thursday (or some of these days), with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms with the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 28 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided.
