This role will include supporting birth relatives to meet with adoptive parents and to help birth relatives understand the importance for children, to keep connected to their relatives and significant people from their past.

Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with birth relatives whose children have been placed for adoption and you will have a good understanding of the adoption process.  You will work with relatives from a range of diverse backgrounds, lived experiences and those who may be neuro diverse and you will need to demonstrate understanding, respectfulness and adaptability to your social work practice.

We are recruiting a Head of Security to ensure effective safety and security arrangements are in place for the UK EMT. Our new Head of Security will lead on strategic and operational management of safety and security for the UK EMT. You will design, draft and disseminate overarching safety and security plans and crisis management plans and attendant structures, and will advise Team Leaders in the field including deploying with large responses as required. It is a standalone role and you will be responsible for all areas of security management.

Our ideal candidate will bring significant security expertise developed through significant experience working in the humanitarian sector (expected to be at least 5 years) including in insecure environments, and who is willing to spend up to 40% of their time on deployment as part of our responses.

The Role

• Deliver Proof of concepts: Design, develop and deliver future projects that support the creation of new paid placements in different regional hubs across the country. Building on lessons from our first pilot we need to continue to refine what YES does, how it works, all with the goal of building a body of compelling evidence that will shape how we scale our vision.
• Own the 'Product': We need a clear, accessible, and compelling proposition for how we do what we do and why it works. You’ll be responsible for keeping hold of that core product, and making sure it doesn’t get diluted as the programme begins to scale.
• Secure funding: Engage with funders, big and small, to bring in the financial support required to deliver our proofs of concept. We’ll need to experiment with a more sustainable long-term funding model, so you’ll need to be able to explore new approaches to funding placements, working with a range of different funders and through different funding approaches.
• Build a coalition: We don’t want to do this alone. You’ll need to engage nature, net zero and circular economy organisations as well as delivery partners, creating a collaborative network of organisations who can work together to deliver our programmes and create the foundations on which we can scale in the future.

Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest. Mentors help Young Talent set goals, explore their passions and make decisions about higher education, training and careers.  After they complete a year of mentoring, Young Talent can continue to access opportunities, advice, resources and paid work from the Arts Emergency Network until they turn 26. · Lead the Area team in South England and Wales to ensure the safe and effective operations of the food bank network, in partnership Trussell Trust’s People Directorate.

· Oversee the investment in and upskilling of our Area team to ensure they have the capacity, skills and resources required to deliver the five-year strategy and support to food banks.

· Drive the delivery of the baseline service for food banks across South England and Wales, ensuring tools, resources, services and systems are fit for purpose and tailored to local contexts.

· Oversee the effective roll-out of strategic projects, partnerships and resources to food banks across South England and Wales, in collaboration with other Directorates, that help to reduce the need for food banks and tackle the underlying drivers of poverty.

· Work with the Strategy & Impact team and Policy, External Affairs & Research teams to ensure effective cross-departmental working on network facing policy and research opportunities, church engagement, external partnerships and impact reporting.

The Central Service Coordinator will ensure Gaddum delivers its organisational objectives by coordinating efficient and effective Human Resources, People and Central workstreams.  

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Finance and working as part of a small but high performing team: They will be a key reference point for the organisation’s leaders to ensure those they manage have the best possible opportunities to thrive during the course of their employment at Gaddum. 

The postholder will be responsible for overseeing central systems and processes relating to organisation-wide People Services as required by the Senior Leadership Team and Trustee Board.

Deputy Service Director

We are looking for a Deputy Services Director to support a cluster of Area Managers across England and Wales.

This role is home based, with regular travel across the regions.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Flexibility is possible, but likely to be required to meet core hours across Monday to Friday)

The Role

This role is home-based, regular travel and some unsocial hours will be necessary.  As a Deputy Service Director, you will:

• Support the Services Director to manage services across England and Wales
