The purpose of this role is to engage, cultivate and secure support from major gifts, grants, legacies and partnerships across Essex and Hertfordshire which will help shape, deliver and protect our vital life-changing service for the future. This is an exciting time at EHAAT. Over the past two years, a strategy has been devised and initiated to develop major giving as a new stream of funding for the charity. As we enter the next phase of the strategy, this role presents a unique opportunity to build on the initial success of this programme and shape its future, alongside a committed and growing Development Board and a dedicated team, and with the support of the trustees and executive team. At the same time, we are bringing together for the first time other important areas of our fundraising, including legacies, trusts and foundations, and corporate partnership under the leadership of the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships to build a strong and focused team delivering across philanthropic giving for the charity.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with senior level prospects and givers in a charitable context, as well as experience across other areas including legacies, trusts and foundations and corporate fundraising. A genuine team player, they will demonstrate strategic thinking, creativity and leadership, to inspire and motivate key individuals and to build strong, long-lasting relationships with the charity. In addition, they will have management experience to unite, develop and lead the team to achieve challenging targets and deliver long term philanthropic goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the strategy to build philanthropic giving at EHAAT in consultation with the CEO, Executive Team, Trustees and Development Board, to support the charity’s objectives and long term aims.
- Deliver a fundraising plan across the Philanthropy & Partnerships team, including major giving, legacies, trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships, to achieve agreed strategic objectives.
- Provide excellent executive support and guidance to the Development Board and the Chair, and take a leading role in building the Board further by identifying and recruiting to its membership and the wider pool of Ambassadors.
- Ensure philanthropic giving to the charity is strengthened through in-depth research, compelling proposals, wellcrafted approaches for gifts and excellent stewardship.
- Deliver regular activity and income reports and participate in the budgeting and forecasting of income in this area.
- Lead and support the Philanthropy & Partnerships team, enabling team members to fulfil their potential and meet agreed objectives through collaborative and shared working.

Job Purpose:
The post holder will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational development of the charity with particular responsibility for the charity operations, people and retail functions to ensure they are carried out efficiently and effectively and comply fully with all aspects of charity law and good practice.

Oversee the insurance renewal process (for the charity and retail shops).

JOB PURPOSE

Development and delivery of the charity’s fundraising strategy

The Corporate Partnerships Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the Fundraising and Communications directorate and is responsible for managing, stewarding, renewing, and growing our corporate partners to meet our fundraising income targets. 2. Job Description
The Head of External Engagement is a key leadership post within the organisation. The role encompasses responsibility for the development and delivery of the organisation’s external activity, including profile, brand identity and stakeholder engagement (including the public), fundraising, and driving income generation in new areas, notably commercial partnerships. Leadership and management
External leadership:
· Represent Sound and Music publicly, including through stakeholder and supporter events

Internal leadership:

This includes reporting and presenting to the Board and externally to help build engagement and relationships in the sector and with funders
· Assess the reputational, financial, delivery and other risks associated with current and new projects and partnerships
· Empower, model, support and encourage cross-team working to realise the full income generating possibilities of projects
Finance and governance
· Contribute to creating and monitoring the overall organisation budget
· Work closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Programmes and Finance Manager to formulate financial strategy against specified budget areas, and to ensure that the programme activity is sufficiently resourced, planned and delivered to budget
· Ensure close monitoring of income and expenditure for relevant budget lines and contribute to senior management team financial planning and review

Introduction to the role
This role will ensure that we are developing partnerships and applying for new funding in line with our business objective and values. THE ROLE
As Head of Partnerships (for specialist audiences) you will lead the strategy for engaging customers in vulnerable circumstances using third parties. You will:
- create the partnership strategy based on insight and data
- identify key strategic partners nationally and regionally and ensure delivery via national, regional and local organisations
- lead on the delivery of omni-channel campaigns
- work closely with the insights team on tracking the success of the partnerships
- manage a team of highly experienced partnership managers
YOU
As the successful candidate for the Head of Partnerships (for specialist audiences) you MUST have:
- an extensive track record of developing, managing and evaluating partnership strategies that reach specialist and vulnerable audiences
- a successful track record of managing complex, high value programmes within tight deadlines and budgets
- in depth experience of managing agencies to develop marketing campaigns aimed at specialist audiences
- outstanding stakeholder management skills.

Fundraising Partnerships Manager
Location: Home-based
Hours of Work: 30 to 37.5 hours
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 pro rata per annum depending on experience

Air Ambulances UK (AAUK) is the national charity supporting the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities, enabling them to save even more lives every day.
Purpose of Post
The Fundraising Partnerships Manager will be responsible for securing and account managing national corporate partnerships, and national trusts and foundations to help air ambulance charities save even more lives across the UK.
- Provide exceptional account management.
- Develop high quality funding proposals.
- Support new business development, identifying and securing new national partnerships and grants in collaboration with the air ambulance community.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- To provide exceptional account management to ensure partners meet agreed income and engagement targets and other key objectives.
- Develop and deliver robust national partnership plans, maximise income generation and provide strategic direction to maximise growth within each account.
- Generate income from national partners - including employee fundraising, sponsorship, and cause related marketing.
- To deliver a calendar of key corporate fundraising events, promoting campaigns to national partners and building engagement with them and their audiences.
- To attend partnership meetings, communicate and deliver presentations to staff at all levels.
- Manage and organise the production of compelling materials for bespoke campaigns and ensure AAUK’s campaigns are integrated into national partnership plans with a particular focus on Air Ambulance Week.
Development Activities
- Support national pipeline research and development for partnerships and grants.
- Through strategic research, identify and prioritise potential national trust and foundations (in collaboration with air ambulance charity members), with the ability to give significant grants through partnership working.
- Creation and development of national fundraising proposals and stewardship reports, applying a creative approach where possible.
- Create engaging assets for applications and compelling pitches, delivering pitch presentations virtually and in person.
- Lead on research and applications for agreed national prospects, building long-term relationships with key contacts at prospective partners.
- Work with air ambulance charity members to identify projects and opportunities for national funding from trusts and foundations.
