We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised individual, in a supporting role to the HR and Learning & Development Manager. The role will assist with day to day operational tasks, providing managers and staff with effective administrative support in all aspects of Human Resources.
You will provide HR generalist administrative support for the full employee lifecycle, as well as support with the end-to-end recruitment cycle in line with The Churches Conservation Trust’s policies and procedures, best practice and legal requirements. You will assist with the provision of training and development of staff ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work as part of a small team, whilst also independently and proactively completing tasks. Excellent communication and IT skills, accuracy and attention to detail are essential requirements.

• Deliver a range of walking, wheeling, and cycling activities, from pre-school and family cycling activities to health and heritage walks, adaptive cycling sessions for disabled people, confidence building sessions and learn to ride lessons for every age and ability level.
• Provide access to a range of cycles for people to try on short or long-term loan, supporting individuals to find a cycle and support that works for them and signposting them to partners that can provide funding for purchases.
• Work with local organisations to upskill and build the capacity of volunteers to deliver activities in the community.

As an Area Manager you will give leadership, direction and guidance to the staff of Medaille Trust to ensure the provision and development of a high quality service in line with the Trust’s Mission, Values and Strategy.
You will have a good understanding of the CQC framework relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. You will carry out quarterly assurance audits in all safe houses ensuring any appropriate action is taken where necessary.
You will line manage, induct, mentor, coach and support Service Managers. Additionally, you will ensure that any complaints, grievances and disciplinaries are investigated and responded to in an effective and timely manner in line with Medaille Policies.
Although the post is home based, the post holder will be expected to travel frequently to our safe houses within the South and London areas with some overnight stays.
You must have previous experience in a relevant sector or experience of working with adults that are vulnerable. Experience of managing staff, carrying out line management, supervision and appraisals is essential. Additionally, you must have experience of setting up Service User Engagement groups.

Arts Emergency, a mentoring charity and support network aiming to address the inequalities in the creative and cultural sectors, is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to provide leadership and management for fundraising activities.
Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest. Mentors help Young Talent set goals, explore their passions and make decisions about higher education, training and careers. After they complete a year of mentoring, Young Talent can continue to access opportunities, advice, resources and paid work from the Arts Emergency Network until they turn 26. Job Purpose: The project aims to deliver a range of trauma-informed learning and development opportunities to women impacted by the criminal justice system. Delivered in our Manchester and Trafford women’s centres, these gender responsive activities, co-produced with women with lived experience, will provide personal and practical skill development that meets their needs and supports their aspirations around employment or education, including a focus on wellbeing and practical learning.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Co-ordinate and deliver a schedule of trauma informed and gender responsive workshops that aim to address wellbeing and reduce barriers women impacted by the CJS face in accessing employment or education opportunities.
- Maintain case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, such as lived experience groups, education, training and employment networks and local services.
- Create opportunities for women impacted by the criminal justice system to input into the programme, such as co-production, and peer supporters
