The Project Manager will be a key member of the Charity and will play a significant part in developing and delivering the Life Chances Programme to our beneficiaries. The post holder will work closely with the CEO and is able to draw on support from the Admin Support Officer.

The Project Manager will support the success of the Charity’s core operations, the development and delivery of the Life Chances Programme, the lifecycle of projects and financial management from securing funding to reporting impact by ensuring the effective development and management of project opportunities, proposals, funding and finances, planning, delivery, evaluation and reporting.

Main duties and responsibilities

Project Management

· Develop, plan, manage, evaluate and report on diverse and inter-related externally funded and non-funded projects.

· Develop, monitor, maintain and deliver effective project management plans, liaising with project partners to ensure the completion of tasks, workstreams and overall project outputs, outcomes and aims.

· Liaise with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with Charity procedures.

· Deliver effective assessment and processing of community grant applications, including identification of need, due diligence, assessment and reporting for decisions on grant awards.

Funding

· Liaise and develop positive relationships with Charity stakeholders and project funders.

· Fulfil funders’ monitoring and reporting requirements.

· Support the team in planning future project opportunities by contributing to the development of grant funding bids.

Finance

· Support effective financial management, decision making and value for money by developing, monitoring and reporting on project and core operating budgets.

· Maintain accurate financial records for all projects and the Charity’s core operations, including via the Charity’s internal CRM.

Other

· Work with the CEO, Digital Marketing & Community Lead, and Charity Team to support the promotion of projects to diverse audiences.

· Any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder.

· The successful candidate must be willing to attend occasional meetings and events across the UK which will include travel and overnight stays. 

· Ensure all internal processes are adhered to for recording and monitoring of grants and funding.

· Produce regular reports to Trustees at Main Board Meetings and other sub-committee meetings.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

EXPERIENCE

· Ideal candidate will hold possess a Project Management Practitioner level qualification (e.g. APM, PMQ, PRINCE 2) or equivalent experience.

· The post holder will have experience in managing budgets, be skilled with Microsoft Office packages and be willing to learn new IT tools.

· A successful track record of delivery results within fundraising, managing programmes & partnership working or similar role for a minimum of two years.

· Excellent networking, stewardship and influencing skills, articulate and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent emotional intelligence, communication and team-working skills, ideally with extensive experience as a manager of complex projects involving diverse partners.

· They will also be keen to take the initiative and see problems as opportunities with a creative and practical approach to problem solving, strategic thinking and long-term planning.

Experience of

o Partnership building, including with a complex mix of external stakeholders.

o Managing complex projects to deliver to quality, time, and cost targets to the satisfaction of funders.

Salary £40,000 per annum

35 hours per week, flexible hours but office hours are 0830 – 1600, and role will involve time out of the office regularly, around the UK. DBS checks required for role. The appointment will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months.

About The Role 

The Development Manager works closely with the Director of Development & Enterprise and the Development team to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the SLG’s fundraising strategy. Role Purpose

The Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover) role will be a critical piece of our Community Programmes team, which provides support to founders at every stage of their startup journey. Fundraising Manager

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint an experienced Fundraising Manager.
 
We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to drive forward relationship building and income generation across all income streams, especially Individual Giving including appeals and major donors, Corporates, Trusts & Foundations and Legacies.

You will collaborate across the Trust to develop innovative and compelling funding proposals, delivering excellent stewardship to existing donors, and identifying, researching and engaging new prospects. You will ensure continuous improvement and innovation and an appropriate balance of fundraising activity across all streams, evaluating new ideas for income generation and strategies for implementation. 

Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and Engagement you will develop the Fundraising Strategy, and as a member of the Extended Leadership Team, will be the lead for driving forward sustainable fundraising activity in collaboration with colleagues.
 
A compelling and engaging communicator, you’ll be adept at managing a portfolio of donors at different stages – from prospecting and cultivation through to ask, stewardship and retention, working at all levels of the Trust to achieve ambitious fundraising targets. 

You must have substantial experience working in a senior fundraising position with a natural talent for building positive relationships both internally and externally, developing a fundraising team and growing a mixed fundraising portfolio. About the role and person:

Ensuring the safety of their customers in their homes is a key priority for our client. As their Asset & Compliance Administration Manager your focus will be leading the team in a concise and structured fashion to ensure that processes and interactions aid the delivery of Customer Safety and planned maintenance. Your role will undertake a proactive approach to zero tolerance on Customer Safety and you'll ensure all aspects of customer safety / compliance are maintained, while supporting the delivery and completion of planned maintenance programmes. It's an exciting time to join them as changes in legislation mean that you'll be actively involved in improving their processes to achieve the best results. 

What skills/behaviours do you need to be an Asset & Compliance Administration Manager?

- Excellent understanding of Customer Safety regimes in electrical, gas, water hygiene, asbestos and mechanical/electrical and a clear understanding of cyclical regimes and remedial actions
- Presenting accurate information, clearly and concisely in reports or dashboards
- Ability to analyse performance information and pinpoint threats to Customer Service and financial performance
- Experience of leading a team towards achieving 100% Customer Safety, contract management, performance and budget management objectives
- Knowledge of finance and housing management systems

Location

The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to Bradford City Centre. They’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as they meet their customer’s needs.

They’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £44,559 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

This role will report to the Head of Business Transformation and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of priority projects within the Group.  

Working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time and budget, using agreed project governance, and meet the defined objectives. You will also act as coach to colleagues who are delivering projects and ensure your outputs contribute to the overall success of their transformational initiatives. 

To be successful in this role you'll bring: 

- Proven experience of project managing cross-functional large-scale projects in a regulated environment, preferably within the housing or real estate industry.  
- Excellent knowledge and experience of using different project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and applying the governing principles. 
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and building collaborative relationships, including strong influencing skills with ability to gain buy-in from challenging stakeholders. 
- Proven experience of implementing change management, including having delivered training, driven adoption and closed out projects.

We are seeking a creative high value fundraiser who will lead the strategic growth and innovation of the Friends and Patrons programmes. Established 6 years ago, the schemes have seen impressive growth and now bring in almost £1million per year. There is still huge potential for development, expansion and innovation.

You will be an ambitious individual with a background in managing mid- and high-value membership schemes. With a focus on stewardship, cultivation events, and collaboration with the rest of the Philanthropy team, you’ll drive engagement and uplift donors.

As Friends and Patrons Manager, you will:

• Lead the strategic development of the Friends and Patrons programme, with a focus on innovation and driving growth
• Oversee the stewardship journeys of Friends and Patrons (£55 to £20,000), with a portfolio of your own donors giving at the higher level
• Responsible for day to day management of the Royal Albert Hall America Patron Scheme
• Work with the Executive Events Manager to deliver an engaging programme of cultivation and recruitment events
• Work closely with the rest of the Philanthropy team to identify opportunities to uplift donors and secure major gifts
