We are proud to be partnering with a great national charity that supports and advises people experiencing homelessness, helping them rebuild their lives. They are looking for a temp Finance Officer to help deliver an effective rent collection and recovery service in accordance with legislation, the organisation’s policies, set performance targets and customer satisfaction requirements on a full-time basis (37.5 hours) for 6 months in the East London office.
You will ensure that the organisation is compliant with all regulations and using robust policy and procedures. You will be responsible for managing resident rent and accommodation charge accounts and other former resident debts on a regular basis, identifying trends and patterns on individual accounts, and chasing arrears. You will work collaboratively with the Resident Services Manager, Revenue and Income Team Leader and Finance team to ensure all rent accounts are up to date and correct, checking Housing Benefit entitlements against PC rates and requesting adjustments accordingly. You will be liaising with both internal and external partners including the Resident Services, Keyworkers, Housing Benefit, the Department for Work and Pensions and residents. You will provide advice and support service to clients with regards to Housing Benefit Appeals. You will also support the transfer of all accounts from Inform to Pyramid.
Knowledge of welfare benefits, i.e. Housing Benefit and Universal Credit is desirable.
This role requires demonstrable experience of working in a supported housing environment in a similar or related role where dealing with income or revenue, and experience of working with software applications including Microsoft Office and bespoke IT Systems i.e. Inform, Pyramid or similar systems. The successful candidate will be a patient, proactive and solutions-focussed individual with a positive attitude and the ability to present information concisely and clearly, and adapt communication for a range of audiences, including the ability to influence, negotiate and persuade. They will have strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.

The successful candidate:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
· A strong and in-depth understanding of housing association finances and the operating model of housing associations (finance qualifications are not required, but a technical understanding of finance and accounting issues will be vital);
· An ability to lead the development of credible, robust, evidence based policy, including on complex and technical policy areas;
· An ability to communicate credibly, clearly and persuasively in writing and in person including to Chief Executives, senior government officials and finance professionals;
· An ability to draft, oversee, adapt and deliver complex plans for the delivery of multiple projects or programmes of work.

About the role
Based within the Resident Services team, the Revenue Officer will play a critical role to help deliver an effective and high performing rent collection and recovery service in accordance with legislation, the organisation’s policies, set performance targets and customer satisfaction requirements.
In collaboration with the RSM and RI Team Leader and Finance Team to ensure that Your Place are compliant with all regulations and using robust policy and procedures. Support with the set up of the new Pyramid system and ensuring the right systems are in place to effectively manage the Revenue and Income stream and arrears of the organisation.
Maximising the organisation’s Revenue and Income by liaising with both internal and external partners including the Resident Services, Keyworkers, HB, DWP and directly with residents., and effectively managing the arrears.
This role will also manage the impact of welfare reform provisions, ensuring an effective advice and support service to residents to manage risk on revenue and income levels.

- To support our project to transfer all accounts from Inform to Pyramid

Job Purpose
Money Minded: Professional advice and support because your mental health matters
Money Minded is a new service designed to support adults, (18 years and over) in Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, accessing debt support, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.
The role of the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to tri-borough Residents living with Mental Health difficulties. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, accessing debt support, signposting etc.
The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals, as agreed with the Service Manager. In addition to advice casework, the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service, as and when needed.
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project, within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS) and adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures.
Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed, prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work in partnership with hospitals and community nursing teams to deliver care to a range of children and young people with a variety of complex health conditions. As well as providing clinical care, you will also develop play and recreational activities to provide appropriate stimulation to the children in your care. We will support you in your learning and development and there is the potential to gain experience in outreach work.
As a Senior Nurse you will be a team leader to a small group of nurses and HCAs (Play and Care Workers), taking responsibility for line management. You will lead your team in acting as key workers to a small caseload of service users and act in a link role allocated to the team, for example Infection Control or Clinical Audits. You will be managing shifts, providing leadership to the team to ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with Richard House policies and procedures.
We’re looking for someone who is empathetic and resilient, can work under pressure, and can communicate sensitively with our families and colleagues. We're hiring a Service Manager to join our Mental Health Stepdown service in Enfield! You will have overall responsibility of your service and team, aiming to deliver a high quality, trauma informed service to your residents. Your role is to ensure full contract and regulatory compliance whilst being a role model/leader for your team to achieve KPI's and other requirements as per the service needs.
The service focuses on care and support rehabilitation for adults with complex mental health needs, providing a total of 24 units of supported accommodation for residents who may also have behaviours that prove challenging to services, including mental health, and medication non-compliance. We support people moving from complex care inpatient rehabilitation service/acute mental health ward and (if appropriate a residential environment), initially into an intensive rehabilitation arrangement that works closely with the mental health rust community rehabilitation team.
Some of our units provide move on supported accommodation from the intensive support service and provides an alternative to existing residential care provisions. The transition allows our residents and participants to further enhance their life skills.
Shift/Working pattern: 37.5 hours a week in service Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, you may also be required to work outside these hours as per the service requirements and needs. You will also take part in our on call service.

- Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders
- Understanding of Housing Management, including voids and evictions
