About the Role
We are seeking a HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team at Coram.
This is an exciting opportunity either for an individual who is looking to develop their HR skills in an experienced and supportive HR team or who has relevant HR experience and is looking for a new challenge.
This multi-faceted HR administration role covers all parts of the employee life-cycle, along with opportunities to get involved in projects such as TUPE, well-being, and recruitment and retention strategies. You will work closely with one or more business partners to support specific entities within the Group and will play an integral role in providing an efficient and effective HR service that adds value to the wider organisation.

About the role
As our Senior Finance & Operations Officer, you will be at the heart of our organisation’s success. Working closely with the Director, Finance and Operations, you will help to manage financial processes, streamline operations, and ensure both our UK and EU teams are properly resourced to drive our mission forward. You will interact daily with a broad range of stakeholders in the UK and the EU including senior level staff, external consultants and suppliers in the while also working closely with Finance, HR & IT colleagues in the US.
Key responsibilities
Financial Management (30%)
- Support on day-to-day financial activities including financial reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Develop and implement best practices to optimise operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and monitor project budgets.
- Support decision-making through insightful financial analysis.
Operational Support (40%)
- Be the first point of contact for all enquiries from the campaigns and fundraising teams in the UK and EU.
Contracts Lifecycle Management (30%)
- Oversee the lifecycle of all supplier contracts: creation, submission and signing. (Legal contract knowledge is not required.)

You will be a dynamic individual with a can-do attitude who has a proven track record of juggling competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The role is varied and has a significant financial element so strong numeracy skills, a solid knowledge of financial management principles paired with good communications skills are important. This new role will lead on Platform’s People and Process functions as we progress through the next stage of our exciting restructure process.
We are a flat-structured organisation that makes decisions collectively. We are currently developing and designing a new organisational structure based on sociocracy where staff are supported to work more collectively and strategically across our seven programs.

Principle purpose of the post:
The Operations Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive supporting on contractual service delivery (including the management of risk), quality and improvement across the organisation and ensure quality services are provided.
