About the Role
As Chief Executive, you will guide RHASS into its next chapter, helping to shape its strategic direction and delivering growth, all while ensuring strong financial stability and governance. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with the Board of Trustees and staff to achieve the charity’s mission and long-term objectives. You will oversee the charity’s operations, finances, stakeholder relationships, and program development to ensure impactful and sustainable results.
What You’ll Do
- Leadership: Manage, develop, and oversee the Strategic Leadership Team, ensuring each area meets its KPIs. Foster a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvement and achieve organisational goals.
- Commercial Development: Oversee the continued development and commercial success of Highland Centre Ltd, working closely with the Director of Venue to maximise the use of assets to generate income for RHASS.
- Team Direction: Lead, mentor, and support the staff team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance organisational culture.
- Financial Stewardship: Ensure RHASS meets its budget and financial targets, providing regular financial reporting to the Board.
- Shape and Implement Strategic Direction and Growth: Drive forward RHASS’s strategic plan, delivering management objectives and maintaining a strong, successful team.

About The Hygiene Bank
Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean. It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing-up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview.
Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In 2024, The Hygiene Bank published a research report into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 4.2m adults in the UK are affected by hygiene poverty, that is an additional 1.1m people into hygiene poverty since 2022 - the equivalent of the population of Birmingham.
Hygiene poverty is not only on the rise, it’ is also undermining the nation’s health: 50% of those affected by hygiene poverty say that it is causing them anxiety or depression. 92% of people affected report that it limits their social interactions with friends and family. 54% of those affected have not gone to the dentist in the last 12 months. But most importantly, it’s putting people in impossible situations. A staggering 69% of adults experiencing hygiene poverty are having to make the difficult decision between paying for essential needs like food and bills or purchasing basic toiletries. 65% of parents affected by hygiene poverty have had to choose between buying hygiene products for themselves or their children.

About the role
This role will be part of the Operations Team and will work closely with the Partnership Managers who support our projects on a day-to-day basis; you will provide exceptional service across key parts of the volunteering journey including recruitment, training and engagement.

Recruitment: Design and implement compelling volunteer recruitment campaigns at a national level and for specific areas of the UK

Virtual Volunteering: Develop our offer for volunteers to bring their skills, experience and time to the charity outside our local community and project structures, for example coordinating volunteers who can support local projects with social media, or with fundraising.

Onboarding: Design and run volunteer the volunteer onboarding process, ensuring that all of our volunteers have the tools they need to be successful

Context and purpose of role
We are looking for a Digital and Website Officer to join our Campaigns and Communications Team. The role holder will take a leading role in digital marketing, optimising our website using a data-led approach, and maintaining our digital asset management system.
Working with colleagues across the Supporter Engagement & Experience division and the wider business, they will also contribute to the development and delivery of marketing activities that deliver against brand and income targets.
They will work to upskill people across the organisation – including volunteers - to achieve greater impact with digital communications.

- Website – act as the GB web admin, working in partnership with the Digital Technical team to manage user journeys and ensure content is high quality and search engine optimised in line with the website strategy.
- Digital marketing – Create and implement digital marketing activity in line with the agreed digital strategy and against agreed return on investment targets. Create and implement digital marketing plans to support advocacy and marketing initiatives for our programmes using relevant digital channels for the target audience
- Content development – source / develop content and assets such as case studies, videos, blogs and images to drive engagement across digital channels including the Ramblers app. Ensure all content is of high quality, permissioned and easy for colleagues to find within the digital asset management system.

About the position
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, an international non-profit organisation tracking the human rights impacts of more than 10,000 companies worldwide, is seeking a Social Media and Digital Content Officer to join our global team.
The successful candidate will be a creative, digital native social media expert who can help to take our social media content to the next level, helping us to reach and influence our most important audiences.
They will be comfortable devising social media content ideas, designing creative assets, writing sharp, engaging social media copy, and helping colleagues around the world to grow their own social media presence.
The position will also play an important role in the success of our digital platform, which is central to everything the organisation does, both creating content and facilitating content creation by colleagues from across our global team.
This role will join the busy and collegiate central Communications Team, as well as working with project team colleagues to help most effectively communicate our research, analysis and key findings on social channels, supporting and amplifying the efforts of our partners on the ground driving respect for human rights in business and fighting to achieve justice and remedies for victims of corporate abuse.
Key Responsibilities
Social media (approx. two thirds of role):
- Social media content: Manage the day-to-day social media comms production and planning, including planning calendars, scheduling and posting

Key competencies and attributes
Essential:
Experience: At least three years’ experience in a social media-focused role, with a strong preference for experience working as part of an international team or on international issues and campaigns.
A digital native, who understands how to create compelling content that is social-first in nature.
A track record of developing impactful social media and digital communications content, preferably in the campaigning, policy, advocacy or not-for-profit spaces.
Communications: Excellent understanding of how strategic digital communications can work alongside research and advocacy approaches to achieve change.
Proven ability to communicate complex and sensitive information in an impactful way; understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences, contexts and channels online.
Global focus: This role has a strong regional/international remit and international working experience is strongly preferred.

About the Role

Working within the Local Systems Influencing team, this role will support Alzheimer’s Society’s ambitions to drive major policy and system change at a local and regional level across England, Northern Ireland and Wales.
As a Local Systems Influencing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering our ambitious programme of influencing work. While this role will predominately focus on driving change within England, you will have the opportunity to support our work across all three nations.
A key part of this role includes identifying and maximising opportunities to influence policy, practice and attitudes at the local and regional levels. Lead the organisation in responding to emerging challenges and opportunities in climate justice, youth mental health, and resilience-building.
