About the role:

The post is full time, Mon-Fri 9-5 although there will be a need for flexibility. The post is initially offered fixed term until March 2023 but may be extended depending on funding. This post is home-based but some travel around the Cumbria area may be required.

Please note that we are committed to provide support where victims can choose to be supported by someone of their own gender and so this post is open to male applicants only as being male is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

As a male victim caseworker you provide tailored advice and support to all male victims of crime including sexual and/or domestic violence. You will assist in the development of resources and support to meet the needs of male victims, and support the wider team to deliver the services ensuring that the needs of male victims of crime are met.

To be successful in this role you will be flexible and proactive, and have knowledge and experience of working with male victims of crime and have a thorough understanding of the needs of this group. You may have experience of delivering a service and working directly with people in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting. You will hold or be expected to train as an Independent Sexual Violence Adviser.

About the role:

This role is home based (Homeworking allowance paid & London Weighting allowance where applicable).

As an iMatter Initial Response Officer, you will be making contact with victims of domestic abuse via the telephone to complete risk assessments. The Initial Response team is responsible for assessing the needs/risks for women referred onto the iMatter Programme, which is an online programme for female victims of domestic abuse. You will be required to manage your own caseload and offer support and advice to victims alongside completing risk assessments.

You will need:

As an Initial Response Officer you will need to be resilient, confident supporting people by telephone, happy to work as part of a team, and willing to constantly learn and adapt to new situations. You will enjoy being part of a busy working environment and be able to communicate effectively with victims of domestic abuse in a professional and supportive manner. You will have strong customer service ethics and be competent in the use of IT skills. Training will be provided in the use of our Case Management System.

You will need to have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing demands in an organised and methodical manner. You should have an understanding and knowledge of, and an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity as well as confidentiality and safe working practice in accordance with safeguarding legislation, General Data Protection Regulation and other legal requirements.

About the role:

The role is based in our Wakefield office.

As an Antisocial Behaviour Champion you will be providing tailored one-to-one, specialist support to vulnerable and persistently targeted victims of antisocial behaviour.

You will need to be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with people from all areas of the community and be able to assist with the monitoring, evaluation, and administration of written statistical reports on the project for management and our external funders.

You must have extensive experience of planning and delivering caseloads, be able to provide co-ordinated, tailored support to meet the needs of high risk, vulnerable and repeat victims of ASB. You will be required to conduct an impact and need/risk assessment with those victims meeting the project criteria.

Good IT skills, knowledge of criminal justice issues, knowledge of ASB legislation to protect victims of ASB are also desired requirements.

About the role:

This role is home working based with occasional travel in the Greater Manchester, Merseyside and West Yorkshire Area.

As a Homicide Service Childrens and Young Person caseworker you will be:

• Delivering a specialist digital service to children and young people (CYP) bereaved by homicide, and for those CYP who have witnessed a homicide where this is in London.
• Working collaboratively and jointly within the Homicide Service and other relevant organisations that can help to progress identified needs, and ensure that young people are central to all processes that involve them.
• Acting as the designated caseworker and manage a case-load
• Implementing the CYP Homicide Service Delivery Model
• Work closely and support colleagues to provide a trauma informed service to children and young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality, front-line service to bereaved young people following murder or manslaughter. Working with colleagues in the National Homicide Service, as well as partner agencies including education, police, courts, social services and many other statutory and third sector organisations.
