Regular Giving is the backbone of our fundraising income, it currently generates £37million each year across our three existing products – Sponsor a Dog, Companion Club (a subscription product) and general Direct Debits. We are now looking for a Regular Giving Product Manager to help us deliver our Regular Giving strategy to increase retention rates and build lifetime value.
About this Job:
As a Regular Giving Product Manager, you will:
- Take a supporter-led approach to the development of campaign activity, understanding the key motivations and demographic of our regular givers and to deliver outstanding supporter experiences.
- Develop inspirational written and digital communications to our regular givers and produce fundraising materials in line with our brand guidelines.
- Manage relationships with any third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the campaign performance reporting, working alongside the Performance and Innovation Manager and our data agency to optimise our campaigns
About you:
We are looking for a highly organised person, with experience in simultaneously managing multiple projects and working reactively, all whilst maintaining high standards of communication and adhering to guidelines. You will be personable, and able to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of products. Your expertise in copywriting, coupled with your ability to evaluate campaign performance, will drive the continuous improvement of our Regular Giving products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy: In collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving and Engagement, develop a strategy for your portfolio of Individual Giving & Engagement campaigns and projects. Contribute to the overall annual planning process and the direction for the Individual Giving & Engagement programme across cash giving, regular giving, prize-led, legacy and in-memory products and channels.
- Planning; Work with the Head of Individual Giving and Engagement and Supporter Engagement Manager on the development of the acquisition programmes inc., contact, engagement, and lead generation strategies.
- Innovation & Product Development; Manage a continuous test and learn cycle of new channels based on audience insight and sector learnings and trends.
- Internal Stakeholder relationships: Brief, monitor and manage internal stakeholders’ relationships for Individual Giving campaigns and projects. Identify opportunities, make recommendations, and create plans for the cross-sell of Individual Giving & Engagement campaigns across all existing audiences.
- External Stakeholder management: Account manage suppliers/agencies to maximise value and ROI for services and campaigns. Brief, manage and monitor performance of suppliers and where appropriate periodically review.
- Financial Management: In line with the strategy, produce commentary for annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for review and sign off by Head of Individual Giving and Engagement.

Big Issue is a social enterprise and B-corp business, with over 30 years of experience supporting the most marginalised in society to earn an income through selling the magazine. Since 1991 they have supported over 100,000 vendors to earn an income of over £150 million.
This is a permanent role with hybrid working arrangements from their London offices. The salary for this position is £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.
The Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for raising unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters. This role is critical to income generation for their Big Issue Changing Lives Community Interest Company, which funds their frontline services that support individuals to improve their lives and earn an income from selling the Big Issue magazine or find sustainable employment through their recruitment service, Big Issue Recruit.
To be a successful candidate, you will have demonstrable experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of offline and digital channels for acquisition and retention. You will also have experience of project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets.

What you’ll need:
- Previous experience working within fundraising, individual giving or committed giving.
- Project management experience.
- Experience managing a campaign from end to end.
- Digitally savvy with expertise using email marketing software.
- Experience managing agency relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Collaborative approach.

We’re looking for a creative and proactive new team member who can provide us with the digital marketing expertise we need to raise our public profile and boost fundraising, while continuing to build relationships with key partners.
Our Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for Baby Lifeline’s social media channels, planning and creating content for our website and driving engagement with the individuals and organisations we need to reach.
Key responsibilities:
· To take ownership of content published via Baby Lifeline’s website and shared via its social media channels
· To use social media and Baby Lifeline’s website to drive income through fundraising
· To engage with stakeholders through digital activity, building positive two-way relationships
· To be strongly aware of developments in digital marketing, putting forward suggestions for new ways to increase public awareness of our charity, reach our most influential stakeholders, and boost fundraising
· To produce monthly social media monitoring reports
· To support Head of Communications & Marketing with the wider delivery of Baby Lifeline’s Communications Strategy
Skills and experience:
· Extensive professional use of social media and online platforms
· Extensive professional use of CMS (e.g. WordPress)
· A passion for digital marketing and the ways it can be used to achieve organisational objectives
· Copywriting experience for online marketing and communications, with the ability to share examples of work that has successfully engaged a target audience and provoked action
· Strong attention to detail
· Experience of creating and/or managing marketing databases
· Experience of producing stakeholder newsletters (e.g. via MailChimp)
· Knowledge of PPC, SEO, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
· Knowledge of developments in marketing and communications in the UK charity sector
· Experience working within the UK charity sector preferred
· CIPR/CIM membership and/or accredited qualifications preferred
