The Head of IT will lead the development and delivery of Information Technology, Digital and Data strategies for Help Musicians, and their sister charity Music Minds Matter, to ensure a fit for purpose infrastructure, software products and information that supports their business needs, while continuously improving in line with new technologies. As a member of the leadership team, you will effectively lead the charity’s IT team and work closely with colleagues to deliver the businesses core strategic objectives.
Key Deliverables for this role include:
- Leads in the development of a multi-year IT strategy which supports the aims of the charity’s three-year business plan – develops, executes, and keeps up to date strategies (IT, Digital, Data) that delivers agreed outcomes.
- Manages IT related risks enabling the organisation to manage its operations and services safely and securely.
- Provides effective leadership and management to all those reporting to you, ensuring staff are motivated to deliver to their personal potential and add maximum value to the charity. Models’ leadership behaviours that will embed IT and digitalisation across the charity.
- Manages relationships with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes and effective representation of department and the charity where required.
Main responsibilities
- Lead on the development and execution of the charity’s IT strategy that proactively supports the business and manages IT related risks well.
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team, model leadership behaviours that will embed IT and digitalisation across HM, upholding Help Musicians values, working with the highest professional standards and maintaining high staff morale.

- Providing expert advice and reports to Board, Committees, and senior colleagues.

As an Advice and Assessment Worker your main responsibilities will be to focus on the Carers Assessment Service in line with the John Whitgift Foundation, Croydon Council and Care Act requirements. Job Purpose
Money Minded: Professional advice and support because your mental health matters
Money Minded is a new service designed to support adults, (18 years and over) in Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, accessing debt support, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.
The role of the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to tri-borough Residents living with Mental Health difficulties. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, accessing debt support, signposting etc.
The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals, as agreed with the Service Manager. In addition to advice casework, the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service, as and when needed.
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project, within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS) and adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures.

A fantastic London based charity supporting the social work profession is seeking an IT & Facilities Officer to be based full-time at their London office in King’s Cross.
The role is paying £39,000 per annum inclusive of London weighting and will initially be offered on a 3 month fixed term contract. Ultimately the role is required on a permanent basis, so it is anticipated that the role will convert into a permanent position.
It is important to note that this role is 100% office-based onsite at the charity’s offices in King’s Cross.
The role is highly varied and will involve a mixture of hands-on 1st Line IT Support to around 20 staff in the office (and a further 120 working remotely) dealing with issues such as hardware configuration and AV set-up. The role will be responsible for shaping and executing the IT strategy to support the overall business objectives and strategic plans, while at the same time taking an active lead on the operational aspects of IT and AV support services. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Head of IT is a highly visible and leading role and will work closely with all departments and the Senior Management Team.
Currently embarked on an organisation-wide technology transformation project, this will be a primary initial focus with the aim of being more connected, efficient, and providing more effective member services. The Head of IT will be pivotal in ensuring delivery of technology driven aspects of the College wide project and future projects by horizon scanning for new technologies and ways of working that can continue to improve the College’s operations.
The role requires excellent personal communication skills, commitment to customer service and management expertise to lead a small team. Apart from the internal College projects and services, the IT and AV department provides event support for commercial events on site.
All of the College IT and AV services are supported via a service desk. The Head of IT is responsible for ensuring that daily operations run smoothly, and any issues identified are resolved swiftly and effectively. Responsibility and experience at a technical level for networks, IT security, AV systems as well as MS365 solutions is a pre-requisite. Being part of a small team, it is expected that the Head of IT will take a hands-on approach where required.

What the job involves
We're seeking an IT Support Coordinator to assist our IT Business Partner in the day-to-day operations of our IT team. In this newly created role, you'll be the go-to person for staff both in our London Bridge office and remotely.
As an IT support Coordinator, you’ll be providing first and second line support assisting with troubleshooting operating systems, applications, and network issues. This will include liaising with our service providers and escalating tickets, when necessary, as well as troubleshooting laptops, re-cabling workstations, and replacing faulty docking stations. Additionally, you'll support our video conferencing rooms, manage user accounts through active directory, and address printer issues by coordinating with suppliers to book engineers.
You'll also play a key role in advising staff on best practices, policies, and process improvements, fostering a culture of efficient technology use. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with our IT Business Partner to update documentation, handle administrative tasks, and improve asset management processes.
In this role you’ll get to work with colleagues across Prostate Cancer UK and support them in their efficient use of technology and contribute to our overall mission to give every man the power to navigate prostate cancer.
What we want from you
To be successful as an IT Support Coordinator you’ll have an excellent knowledge of operating systems, hardware and software (especially Microsoft products) or a willingness to learn.
With a strong customer focus, you’ll have previous experience of working in a telephone-based support team using remote control technologies. You’ll also have outstanding communication skills which enable you to deliver accessible advice. Ideally, you’ll be a self-motivated person who can work proactively without supervision and adapt to changing priorities and customer requirements.

The Role
As Head of IS and Data Management you will be responsible for implementing our IS and Data Strategy and driving efficiency using technology across Sanctuary. You will lead on the strategic development, management and operating of the IS systems and data infrastructure whilst managing and motivating the teams to deliver an efficient service across the Charity.
Responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and managing the IS and data strategy which drives the future direction and utilisation of technology within the charity to drive efficiencies and defining business relevant KPI’s to measure its benefits and success.
- Designing and implementing a new target operating model of the charity’s support requirements and implementing standard processes and standard protocols (e.g. ITIL), to improve ongoing controls, customer service, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Leading the certification of Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation and ensure ongoing compliance.
