Role Summary
The Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping and maintaining Alcohol Change UK’s visual identity. This role is responsible for producing engaging visual content across multiple digital and print channels to inform, engage, and inspire our audiences, and across our flagship campaigns including the Dry January® challenge. Sitting within our Marketing and Communications department, the postholder will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all creative outputs align with our brand identity and communication goals. As a paralegal, you will be a key member of the Legal team and will work closely with the team to provide legal support across all aspects of the organisation. This includes our various fundraising activities and campaigns, grant making, working with our partners and suppliers, and managing our contracts as an organisation. We are looking for a candidate with paralegal experience, who has a good understanding of contracts and experience in legal processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with other members of the Legal team to help deliver quality and consistent legal and compliance support across RNIB.
- Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and advising on straightforward contracts such as NDAs and services agreements using legal precedents and guidance notes, with supervision where required.
- Advising on legal and compliance matters in line with our policies and guidance notes.
- Working with other members of the Legal team on strategic projects, litigation or disputes.

About You
You'll have:
- at least six months' experience working as a paralegal
- ideally, a law degree (or equivalent e.g. CPE, GDL) or a recognised paralegal professional qualification although this is not essential
- excellent organisational skills and be able to manage several projects and contracts
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), able to quickly adapt to using new IT tools e.g. for training, audit, invoices and trade marks.

About the role:
This role is based In Pontypool Police Station however we have currently adopted a hybrid model. As a Triage and Early Interventions Officer you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for clients referred in to the service, ensuring that comprehensive impact and risks assessments are completed and a tailored response to each client's needs is provided.
- Carry a caseload of clients who require more immediate and short term interventions, referring on those with more long term needs either internally or externally. Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
- Ensure that support plans are developed with clients where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
- Provide accurate and timely performance information for internal and external use.
- Work with the client and other statutory and voluntary agencies to address the identified needs.
- Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns including both child protection and vulnerable adult issues.
- Ensure that all clients are of aware of their rights under the Victim's Code of Practice and the Witness Charter.
- To work alongside a team of staff (and volunteers where applicable) to reflect the diverse community and the needs of the victims, including those with particular vulnerabilities, utilising national and local resources to deliver individual, bespoke services with respect, dignity and sensitivity.
- Comply and keep up to date with data protection legislation, confidentiality and organisational policies and procedures, as well as all legislation connected to your work.

You will need:

Job Description
The Team Leader role has responsibility for the operational oversight of Redthread’s delivery within Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, and any community work undertaken in the surrounding area. The role is to be part of the youth work team within Redthread with a primary focus on youth violence interventions in a health care setting. In this role you will lead the Youth Violence Intervention Programme team at the hospital. The team support young people aged, 11-25 years old, who present to hospital following an incident of violence of for whom them there are concerns around exploitation or extra-familial farm. You will have line management responsibility for the Youth Workers in the team, ensuring the service runs effectively for young people and also working with young people in the hospital as well as supporting them post discharge to ensure they have the support in place that they need and want. Main duties include:
- To recruit, manage, motivate, coach and develop a staff team including carrying out annual appraisals and regular supervision meetings. To manage their health, safety and wellbeing.
- To promote and embed Catch22’s vision and values in local service delivery
- To ensure all service user information, interventions and other data as required by the contract are recorded on the relevant data management system in line with Catch22’s policy.
- To manage operational risk, health and safety, governance and safeguarding issues in line with Catch22, Catch22 and Commissioner policies.
- Carry out regular case file audits as per the Audit Policy and Procedure

Key Responsibilities
Hospitality & Wellbeing Support:
- Greet all guests, acting as the first point of contact between the team and external stakeholders visiting 1 Wharf Cottage, namely our clients, volunteers and partners.
- Prepare and serve teas, coffees, and refreshments to clients, volunteers and visitors, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist the operations and psychology team with daily administrative tasks, including managing scheduling meetings and client assessments / reviews.
- Assist in the set-up and facilitation of nature-based mental health group activities, providing support to the group leaders and facilitators (where required).

- Oversee the purchase of supplies, including food and drinks, for our monthly volunteer evening events.
- Provide evening and / or weekend support at our bi-annual social events for our client base, volunteers, and donors (dates are always arranged well in advance).
Operational & Administrative Support:
- Provide general support for the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a productive, efficient and well-functioning working environment. Assist the Operations team in scheduling and coordinating client assessment and review appointments, workshops, and mental health activities in nature.
