What we are looking for in our People & Culture Assistant:
· Experience of working in a complex administrative role within HR
· Experience of using HR/Payroll/recruitment ATS online systems
· Good numeracy and literacy skills
· Awareness of employment legislation
· Ability to effectively organise and work to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and a willingness to contribute to team efficiency through sharing information and supporting others
· Experience of providing informal training/coaching to colleagues in relation to administrative tasks
· Proficient in the use of software packages and Microsoft office software

About the role
We are looking for someone who wants to make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives, taking the lead on generating the income required to deliver the Farm’s services and maintain our central functions and infrastructure. ROLE SUMMARY
The Global Grants and Engagement Manager is responsible for managing the Grants Programme of ProVeg International and leading the activities and staff within the ProVeg International Grants team. You will ensure the global grantmaking of ProVeg International aligns with its mission and goals, while also engaging with key players in the global plant-based movement, and raising funds for the Grants programme and other movement-building activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Grants Programme :

Team-lead for ProVeg Grants team, including direct line management of Grants Programme Manager.

Oversee quarterly grantmaking process, including reviewing and evaluating proposals, and providing recommendations aligned with ProVeg International’s grantmaking criteria.

Ensure that all grantmaking is aligned and approved by all decision makers, including CEO, funder network, and Board Members.

Oversee the team to ensure that all grants admin is fulfilled, including due diligence, and payment processing aligned with US regulations; accurately tracked grant records; queries are responded to timely, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Finance and Operations Manager - 4 or 5 days a week - Fully remote - one year contract
An exciting opportunity has come up to work for a circa £1million turnover association. This is a newly created role, where you will be working very closely with reporting to the CEO.
This is a fully remote role, offering a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum with 30% non contributory pension. My client is open to candidates looking to work 4 days a week, where the salary will be prorated.
This is a very hands-on Finance role overseeing the HR and the IT infrastructure. The role provides support to the Board ensuring the organisation is charity compliant in all its work. The organisation has grown rapidly recently, receiving a number of grants, and this role will help provide assurance regarding their administration and on reporting.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Maintain a suitable business planning model covering long term cash flow forecasts
- Ensure annual Statutory Accounts are completed in adherence with UK accounting standards
- Develop and maintain adequate financial control systems and procedures
- Develop an effective IT strategy and ensure service levels are set and maintained with external IT suppliers
- Ensure that the organisation complies to relevant regulations for data protection and data security
- Day-to-day oversight of the finance function
- Support project officers with grant management and reporting
- Produce monthly management accounts and prepare the finance part of the annual report
- Main contact for accountants who audit and lead on preparing required documents
- Ensure processes are in place for payroll, expenses, assets, issuing of invoices, purchases
- Work with colleagues to produce detailed annual budgets and oversee financial planning for the organisation

The role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join the charity. This is a newly created position reporting to the Head of IT. The Director of Operations will work as part of the management team to develop and implement the organisation’s strategy and operational plans and to build the longer term sustainability of the organisation. They will be required to deputise for the Chief Officer in their absence and assist in the overall management of the organisation. As part of the management team the role demands a high level of flexibility, initiative and commitment. The role also involves working with the Chief Officer to design and improve our monitoring, evaluation and learning across the organisation in line with our new strategy.
The Director of Operations will have lead responsibility for overseeing the day to day operations and coordinating external partnerships and relationships. Operational oversight includes the two core pillars of work:-
- Streams of Sanctuary programmes and awards (by streams we mean mainstream sector e.g. schools)
- Coordination and development of network of refugee supporting groups

About the Team
Amongst other key systems, the ALM team supports two critical CRM solutions which underpin our engagement with both our clients and supporters. We’re also part of the Business Enablement team within Shelter’s Technology & Data (T&D) Department. T&D consists of 30+ people based across the country, with bases in London, Sheffield and Edinburgh and is accountable for developing and leading Shelter’s technology and data strategic priorities and providing a secure infrastructure. The management of data and insight to underpin strategic outcomes, delivery of technology change projects, data governance and provision of support for a range of software, systems and platform tools also fall under T&D’s remit.
About the role
Working as part of a team with a diverse portfolio of skills, as a Dynamics Support Analyst you’ll have plenty of opportunity to deepen your knowledge of our CRM systems, as well as expand into other areas. You’ll be the first point of contact for users seeking assistant with our CRM systems to ensure that they have a seamless experience with troubleshooting, problem resolution and system guidance.
As part of the role, you will also be monitoring and managing the support ticketing system (Zoho ManageEngine), to ensure timely responses and resolution of queries, at times co-ordinating with other teams and taking ownership to deliver a positive outcome for users. You’ll become an expert user of Shelter’s implementations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, assisting in basic configuration and customisation tasks.
And we’ll also rely on you to help maintain accurate documentation of support processes, provide input for training sessions, feed into the generation of regular reports and gather user feedback to help us identify areas for improvement.
Indeed, you’ll play a key role in helping the teams that are crucial to our mission - teams which provide advice to people in need and help us understand and engage with our supporters.
About you
To succeed, you’ll need a strong understanding of enterprise-level software (ideally CRM) processes, workflows and data management and the ability to provide first level support to end users. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM platforms as a system administrator or expert user. You’ll also need to be detail-oriented ,with a problem-solving mindset and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As comfortable helping to generate regular reports as you are maintaining accurate documentation, prior experience in a customer support or helpdesk role is essential. Ideally, we’re looking for an individual who has prior experience working with IT Service/Helpdesks and you’ll able to work effectively both on your own initiative and as part of a team helping Shelter achieve its wider goals.
