You will provide first and second line technical support to staff, assisting with hardware and software problems via phone, email or onsite. ABOUT YOU
Ideally, we would like someone with an interest in IT and have undertaken relevant IT qualifications, ideally at NVQ Level 3 or 4 although we will consider applications from those willing to work towards this.

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day to day management of the service desk system.
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support requests and take ownership of end-user requests.
- Manage the full process of computer provisioning.
- Undertake scheduled maintenance to ensure all computers are patched with important software and system updates.
- Administer Microsoft 365 admin centres, software systems, operating systems, applications, directory services, and any other updates and additional tasks related to system administration.
- Support with the onboarding process, ensure new starters have the correct log ins, equipment, and relevant training as necessary.
- Engage with staff to understand their needs and support our employees in the use of computer systems and applications.
- Learn and manage other digital programs within the organisation and support training and development for all staff and smaller teams where required.

KEY CRITERIA
What we are looking for:
- Appropriate academic/professional qualification: Minimum of GCSE, BTEC, and/or A-Level qualification in IT, English and Mathematics
- Experience of managing Microsoft Windows client operating systems – Windows 10/11
- Experience of administering and managing Microsoft 0365 admin centres
- Excellent problem-solving ability with a methodical and logical approach, able to work proactively to resolve challenges and mitigate further issues
- IT Proficiency at advanced level, ability to learn new software’s with ease and able to deliver training and support to others
What we would like, but not essential:
- Experience of working in first-, and second-line roles within agreed Service Level Agreements
- Experience in a similar support/service delivery environment, supporting with issues and incident management
- Additional professional Microsoft certifications
- Experience within a similar role in a similar sized and type of organisation

We are currently using a shared legacy system built with Salesforce Classic though will be implementing and supporting 38 individual Salesforce instances from June 2024 for each Community Foundation. We are seeking an organised, dynamic, and flexible administrator to support our extensive events calendar. This includes large assemblies, forums, and training sessions. The post-holder will maintain accurate attendance records on the database and maintain membership details. FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity, fighting food poverty and hunger by tackling waste. We source good quality food that is surplus to requirements from the food industry. An army of volunteers help redistribute this food to over 500 frontline charities and community groups such as school breakfast clubs, community centres and organisations supporting those who are homeless, unemployed, socially isolated and recovering from addiction. These organisations provide meals and food parcels to over 67,000 vulnerable people every week. We also support people through our Employability programmes, enabling them to learn skills and find rewarding work – some for the first time.
Hunger is a growing issue in the UK and while there is surplus food that is otherwise going to waste, we believe that this food should be used to feed people first.
The Role
This role will work closely with the Volunteer Manager to coordinate and administrate the daily running of our volunteer programme in the Nottingham area. You will be responsible for the timely collection, processing and updating of all volunteer data for the volunteer teams in your area.
You will also ensure that compliance data such as food hygiene certificates, driving licence checks etc. are completed and recorded within expected timeframes.
The role will involve working closely with the operations teams to ensure that volunteer inductions are completed and site rotas are maintained.
