We are seeking to appoint a Development Manager to raise funds to further enhance the quality of education for students at Wallington County Grammar School. This includes through investment in capital projects, teaching resources and staffing the curriculum. Our aim is to maximise the life chances of our students, providing a world class education that supports them in gaining access to the best universities in the country.
The key focuses of this role will be to:

This role will be a crucial part of Baytree’s Adult Education team, which currently consists of an Academic Manager, one other Academic Administrator (who is reducing her working hours after many years of service for Baytree), two ESOL tutors and the Women’s Service Director. Victim Support is proud to have been commissioned to provide an Affected by Crime (ABC) service across Humberside which will provide a single point of contact for victims of all crime, whether or not they have reported to the police, to receive support and information.

About the role:
Your role as a TEIO will be to answer and speak to incoming callers as well as to hold a caseload and make outgoing calls to those affected by crime. You will be the primary contact for the Hub across Humberside and will be the face of the service.
As a TEIO, you will;
- answer incoming calls, speak to those affected by crime and hold a caseload
- make outgoing calls, assess needs and risks and action plan with callers
- work on the case management system to allocate cases, provide administration on cases and assess/ensure data quality
- liaise with other agencies where required to find out more information, give information or make referrals or give signposting information
- work with the wider team to ensure an effective, trauma informed service is given to those affected by crime
You will be a confident, compassionate and empathic person who can work well under pressure. You will be speaking to people who may be upset, angry or in emotional difficulties and will need to be composed, empathic and be able to quickly assess situations.
You will be confident in using your IT skills to work on a case management system, access phone and online systems, email and Microsoft Office programmes.

What the role involves
Key responsibilities
1. Ensuring that there are regular training opportunities for both new starters and those requiring refresher sessions or updates when new functions or forms are released.
2. Running system training drop-in sessions to assist with queries / hear feedback, and relaying information from these to the Information Governance and IT manager.
3. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to establish an evaluation method and implement this to enable us to assess the effectiveness of each training session and using this to improve future delivery.
4. Produce effective training materials and guidance documents, and develop and maintain a training area on our case recording system, including the creation of dummy forms and files for new users to access and use as a training sandbox.
5. Producing and maintaining a catalogue of training resources, ensuring links to practice-based guidance are established and maintained.
6. Performing case recording system changes to forms and lists as directed by the Information Governance and IT Manager
7. Support the Data Reporting and System Support Lead with regards to user administration and user support at times of absence and increased need
8. Supporting with training on additional systems directed by the Information Governance and IT Manager, including on the efficient use of SharePoint and Teams
9. Developing training courses for various systems, using our LMS (currently Rise)
10. Acting at all times in line with safeguarding legislation and guidance in addition to Safer London’s practice guidelines and wider pan-London processes and protocols.
11. Undertaking any other duties as required and commensurate with the level of this post.

For the trainee position we’re not necessarily looking for someone who has previous experience working within the advice sector, as long as you’re empathetic and able to provide person-centred support in a non-judgemental way we can provide full training.

One of the global programmes the Consultant will be working on is Youth Connect. Through face to face and online activities, the programme supports young people in developing new skills and provides ways for them to apply these skills in action. By strengthening the surrounding ecosystem, the programme aims to create opportunities to empower youth and contribute positively to social change and bring about action, which addresses 21st century challenges. The programme delivers projects in over 25 countries as well as offering global online content.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global team facilitating the delivery of diverse projects and programmes.
As Consultant Non-Formal Education (NFE), you will support the pursuit, design, delivery and evaluation of projects and programmes across the NFE portfolio by providing high quality operational support, project and contract management, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
The content and structure of projects depends on local context and needs, supporting the development of localised approaches to global issues such as peace, disinformation, equality, youth leadership and climate change. Projects deliver learning and capacity building activities outside of formal education, broker connections between different stakeholders including governments, civil society and communities and produce insightful and innovative content in our field, such as research on young people’s views and aspirations around the world.
The role will give you an opportunity to develop your sector knowledge and expertise, business development skills (by supporting preparation of bids/proposals) and project management experience.
Responsibilities:
Tasks and responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
• Managing small to medium size projects and budgets associated with them
• Leading on online learning and events and face-to-face events in the UK
• Managing procurement and contracting of suppliers and partners
• Providing financial and project management support to the NFE programming
• Ensuring compliance with procedures and standards, such as due diligence and information management, as well as monitoring and evaluation and strengthening gender equality and social inclusion in projects and programmes

Requirements of the role:
- Interest and/or experience (including volunteering) in international development, non-formal education, youth empowerment and skills development, civil society and related areas

Job Summary
Young Women’s Trust champions young women aged 18 to 30 on low or no pay. We’re here to create a more equal world of work and raise young women’s incomes.
Around 4,000 young women each year receive support through our ‘Work It Out’ service and the Services Administrator is crucial to ensuring that these young women have a smooth and positive experience when they sign up for coaching or feedback on job applications. You will need great communication skills as you will be liaising with young women, coaches and volunteers. Attention to detail is important as well as strong organisational skills to keep on top of the moving parts within a busy service. Some general administrative support across the organisation will also form part of this role.

In the role of Night Worker, you will be working with our clients on their road to recovery, aiding clients to gain the necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation. You will assist staff on site with supporting clients, completing H&S tasks, responding to and completing incident reports, and ensuring that clients within the building are safe. You will also have some housing management responsibilities as part of ensuring we deliver safe, high-quality services.
Working in our Forbes House complex needs hostel, you will be part of a team providing 24hr support to 22 clients at the start of their journey with us, supporting them towards greater independence. This role involves working night shifts between the hours of 21:30 – 08:15. This will also include some weekends and bank holidays, and the role will be service based with no home working.
