The role will undertake market research, build a network for the organisation, and drive new business in the commercial landscapes of film, TV and gaming. Ideally, the successful candidate will also be familiar with emerging trends in the innovation and immersive event space.
This is a consultancy role, reporting to the CEO, with regular interaction with the Executive Team. You will have responsibility for scoping new partnership opportunities, requiring an extensive network of existing contacts, a thorough understanding of the digital media industries, and a self-starting mentality.
You will combine deep knowledge of different commercial models within the arts and culture sector, with an appreciation of and passion for artistic excellence. We expect you to be an experienced and effective dealmaker, with exceptional people skills, analytical excellence and business acumen.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Commission and conduct market research across the sector to unveil and develop new commercial business avenues
- Identify, evaluate and secure new opportunities within the media industries of film, TV and gaming, with the goal of creating established new revenue streams for the orchestra
- Research and identify new business opportunities in the immersive experience market
- Assist in broadening our industry network and initiate outreach for new partnerships
- Collaborate with the CEO on strategic business planning in the digital arena
Job Requirements:
- First rate portfolio of contacts in the digital media industries and innovation sector
- Demonstrated success in business development and growing relationships within relevant sectors (film,TV, gaming, immersive)
- High level experience in delivering successful presentations and pitches for creative projects
- Creative problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying untapped revenue opportunities
- Exceptional ability to form quick, strong cross-cultural working relationships
- Experience of working with creative organisations
- Strong understanding of digital media industries and new emerging trends and technologies
- Flexible approach, willing to adjust hours for events or concerts as needed

This can be a part-time or full-time position. Salary is to be discussed, depending on experience and pro-rated if working part time depends on hours/days.

Press and Marketing Coordinator
Gresham College is a charity which provides high-quality free education to the public across a broad range of subjects. The College aims to stimulate a love of learning and intellectual curiosity and to champion academic rigor, professional expertise and freedom of expression.
Gresham College has been providing free lectures within the City of London for over 400 years. Lectures are attended by an in-person audience and live-streamed around the world. We have currently had over 51 million online views.
The College is now in year four of an exciting five-year plan which has the primary aim of increasing and broadening the audience which the College reaches. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The postholder will be responsible for publicising Gresham lectures and speakers to the media to amplify our visibility, enhance our reputation, and attract new audiences to Gresham.
The post-holder will need to be able to translate complex, technical information into clear and engaging press releases and briefings. They will need to be capable of managing proactive, planned press work but also have the ability to react to events and enquiries as well. They should demonstrate a strong track record of working and placing articles with a variety of national / international / print / digital media outlets.
With help from junior staff, they will also proactively inform additional groups of upcoming lectures – for example, faculty heads / administrators of university programs aligned with the respective lecture topic.
They will build relationships with other organisations in our sector with a view to cross-promotion when appropriate.
Finally, they will serve as the primary liaison for external press agencies enlisted to undertake independent or standalone projects.
Reports to Executive Director
Salary £32,000 - £35,000 (Pro-rata, part time, 2 days (14 hours) a week role). Saul Pension scheme (currently 16% employers’ contribution)
Contract type This position offers an initial contract term of 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Responsibilities
1. Write press releases about key lectures, speakers and series.
2. Disseminate these notices to media contacts (journalists, reporters, bloggers, media outlets) via media relations software, and personal correspondence when appropriate.
3. Build and maintain targeted lists of media contacts within media relations software to increase the efficacy of this work.
4. Act as the liaison between media contacts and Gresham speakers, facilitating collaboration such as the co-authoring of editorials or press interviews.
5. Work with junior colleague(s) to build lists of other contacts who may be interested in particular lectures and manage distribution of information to these groups.
6. Similarly, disseminate lecture information to other broadcast opportunities and platforms, such as membership associations, event-listing websites and newsletters, building reciprocal relationships with sector partners.
7. Serve as the primary liaison for external press agencies enlisted to undertake independent or standalone projects.
8. Report monthly on the above activities and recommend future development of the press and marketing offering.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Between three and five-years’ experience working as a journalist, in a press office or communications team.
2. Robust knowledge of the UK media landscape.
3. The ability to build good, working relationships with press and media contacts.
4. Success in securing national or wider press coverage of stories / stakeholders / campaigns.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to translate complex information and data into messaging for a range of audiences.
6. Proficient in drafting timely and accurate press releases.
7. Ability to organise time effectively, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and multitask with ease.
8. Able to work well under pressure and respond to issues at short notice and occasionally out of hours.
9. Good team player with an understanding of other communications disciplines
10. Confident use of MS office applications and other IT systems.

Rugby foodbank's Engagement Officer will oversee the smooth running and operation of the foodbank, with concern for its operational efficiency and standards in accordance with The Trussell Trust franchise model. In partnership with the Service Delivery Manager, guide the development of the foodbank project, including its material resources, financial assets, reputation, partnerships and volunteer body. The Engagement Officer will have a key role in the delivery and development of Rugby foodbank and the growth of its services. They will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders including volunteers, food and financial donors, partner referral agencies plus community and business groups. The right candidate will be an effective communicator who will work hard to create a positive environment for volunteers, clients, agencies and donors maximising opportunities for engagement.

Hope4 is the overarching charity name overseeing all operations of the Hope Centre and Rugby Foodbank.
As a charity, our clients are at the heart of what we do. Although Rugby is a small market town, in 2023 we supported over 190 people at our Day Centre and provided over 7500 foodbank food parcels. Our staff and volunteers are crucial to making this happen. We currently employ 8 members of staff and have 80+ people regular volunteers.
The charity was founded by the churches across the town and continues to hold to Christian principles working to address poverty, primarily homelessness and food poverty in the Borough of Rugby. The churches, as the Revive network, support the work we do both with funding and providing many of our volunteers. Our staff and volunteers support these values and ethos irrespective of belief or background.
We are looking for someone who can work as a flexible team member and with the ability to share and balance duties according to the needs and opportunities of the organisation. You will be an outgoing self-starter who is confident working on their own initiative as well as part of a wider team. Your key skill will be the ability to work with all types so people from every kind of background because you will be engaging with volunteers, clients, trustees and external agencies such as churches, schools and businesses. It will be varied and is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and successful day-to-day running of the foodbank.

Thyroid UK is a charitable organisation working to inform and support people living with thyroid disorders in the UK and campaigning on their behalf for the right tests to diagnose thyroid disease and to have a choice of treatment options.

Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Charity Operations Manager to run the smooth, effective operation of the organisation so we can best support people in the UK living with thyroid disease. This is a management role leading on all operational activities, supporting and working in close collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Salary will be reviewed after an initial 6 month probationary period.
This role involves minimal supervision and is responsible for the day to day running and management of the charity.
General office management:
· General secretarial and administrative support including routine office tasks where needed
· To manage all operational activity of the charity according to the strategic direction provided by the Board of Trustees
· To be responsible for all aspects of staff and volunteer management, including recruitment, training and supervision
· Collaborating with other team members to ensure that information flows effectively
Support the CEO:

The Director of Operations is a Senior Leadership role supporting the CEO in the strategic leadership and management of 2wish. We are in an exciting transition period where the organisation is expanding and this is a new role in our staff team that has been created to support our ambitious CEO to deliver our new strategic plan whilst ensuring we maintain operational excellence and high performance.

The successful post-holder will join a supportive Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO, working collaboratively with the Director of Transformation and closely with the Heads of Support, Finance, Fundraising, and Marketing and Communications, to effectively deliver services in your remit, namely; Organisational Development, Compliance, Governance, IT, Systems and Facilities.
Hours:
Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu
Annual leave:
28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.
