2-3 Degrees is a personal development company that inspires and motivates young people with practical skills they need for life. We deliver fun and engaging workshops, programmes and talks in education, community, and sport organisations and have worked with over 5000 young people across the country since we began in 2016.
We are looking for a Programme Manager who is excited about leading a small and dynamic growing team. In particular, we are seeking a Programme Manager who is passionate about creating personal development programmes that benefit hundreds of young people (14-25) and connects them to diverse role models, industries and new opportunities.
To be successful in this role you must be strong, ambassadorial and skilled at leading complex projects, managing budgets and working to tight deadlines.
You must have demonstrable experience of being a skilled communicator, confident at creating new and managing existing relationships, meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders, monitoring and evaluating programmes, and have knowledge of co-production and co-design, involving the beneficiaries in the design of services and programmes.
Overall, you will be a dynamic professional, passionate about ensuring high quality programmes that meet the needs of the young people. You need to be proactive, hardworking, organised, able to work independently and have a positive approach to creative problem solving.
Manage the different sections of the 2-3 Degrees programmes
You will manage the logistics of running a programme (virtual and physical): ensuring we have the right resources and stakeholders to deliver; organising venues; coordinating freelance facilitators; and planning exciting end of project events. You will line manage the Programme Coordinator, present programme updates regularly to the team and report to the Directors.
Liaise with local authority and youth partners
You will coordinate with organisations and new partners to gather referrals for projects; arrange meetings with clients to keep them updated with the programme delivery.
Design programme content and project plans
You will lead on the programme design and will agree programme and marketing content with the Director and Communications Officer and delegate tasks to the Programme Coordinator.
Evaluate impact and implement learnings
You will use our monitoring and evaluation tools to measure the impact of our projects, collect feedback from young people and incorporate what we learn into future projects. Communicate significant evidence from our programme to influence key stakeholders.
Safeguard the wellbeing of young people and staff
When running projects with young people, you will practice professional working boundaries at all times, upholding 2-3Degrees safeguarding policy to ensure the emotional and physical security of the young people. You will participate in team reflections and individual supervisions to look after yourself and promote the wellbeing of the team.
