JOB TITLE: Operations Manager

SALARY: £38,000 – £40,000 pro rata

WHY DOES THIS ROLE EXSIST?
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the operational activities of the organisation - adding value and improving the effectiveness of the entire organisation as assisting the CEO with business development and managing the 20/20 Talent recruitment arm.
This role will support the CEO in drafting the annual business plan, funding applications and in ensuring that the objectives set out are delivered and reviewed through an effective, ongoing planning process, monitoring, evaluating, and revising plans where necessary.
MAIN DUTIES - OPERATIONS
Lead on Safeguarding – as Designated Safeguarding Lead manage safeguarding and ensure implementation of the Safeguarding Policy and Procedure.
Work with the CEO to develop and implement effective business planning process, enabling monitoring, evaluation, and revision of plans to achieve strategic objectives.
Work with the CEO to research fundraising opportunities and complete funding applications to ensure long term sustainability of the organisation.
Work with the CEO to develop and implement annual quality assurance review for all the organisation’s program and functions.
Work with Programmes Assistant to develop and implement operational aspects of program delivery as required.
Support external communications, coordinating production of digital and printed material, updating the website, and overseeing and ensuring the integrity of the 20/20 Change brand.
Work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to help plan and implement the corporate fundraising strategy for 20/20 Change.
Ensure that all prospects and opportunities identified by the Corporate Partnerships Manager are accurately recorded to generate sustainable funding and deliver income and expenditure targets.
Ensure that all existing and new corporate partners records are updated with the most recent information to ensure that Teamtailor CRM system is current at all times.
Work within 20/20 Change policies and procedures at all times.
Manage queries and correspondence from partners, providing timely responses and recording all details on Teamtailor.
Co-ordinate and extract data, produces report and manage dashboards in Teamtailor.
Co-ordinate GDPR assessments for all mailings, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Attend meetings and industry events as requested by the Corporate Partnerships Manager with accounts to develop and maintain relationships.
Work with Corporate Partnerships Manager to produce and embed communications plans for partners that increase financial support, event participation and uptake of employer services and training.
Provide corporate partners with excellent stewardship, a good understanding of 20/20 Change’s work, and a positive feeling about their engagement.
Support Fundraising colleagues to ensure that all data is up to date and accurate.
Ensure the effective management of partners’ contact information and activities on the database.
Ensure that all partners receive an exceptional experience when they interact with 20/20 Change.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Operating at management level across one or more of the following areas: education, employment, youth work, criminal justice, mental health, youth development work.
Experience of building, motivating, and inspiring staff and holding them to account through performance management.
Experience of working with a Trustee/NED board.
Experience of writing successful funding bids.
Knowledge of budgetary processes and fundraising practices.
Knowledge of social and public policy, particularly in areas relevant to youth, education, employment, and social mobility.
Understanding of the Third Sector environment and context.
