INF is looking for a registered nurse with community experience
- preferably with experience of working on the Indian
The purpose of the role is to work with INF’s Community Health and Development Advisor to help staff develop and implement their work across INF’s five district programmes in the Mid-Western region, especially through self-help
groups. This will include development of materials and procedures.
The successful candidate will be part of the Community Health and Development Unit based in Nepalgunj, but will be required to travel extensively to the different districts. They will be working with the community facilitators and
with government health staff.
Good language skills are needed and an initial commitment of two years post language learning is required.
As well as having relevant experience, in order to gain the necessary visa for this post, the successful applicant will need to have a degree or equivalent qualification. Also, as part of the role, successful candidates will develop a group of individuals and churches to pray for them, encourage them, and meet their financial needs. Successful candidates will be given the training, help and resources needed to build this team of supporters, so they can partner with them in their service.
