Job Description

The Special Events team at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC) manages a comprehensive and diverse programme of events for the purposes of either raising funds, raising awareness (promoting the work of the hospital and the fundraising need) or to support the work of hospital (for example, organising awards ceremonies, trade fairs and the patients Christmas party). The Senior Events Executive’s role is to develop and deliver events within the overall strategy of the Special Events department in a team facing growing demands for its services.

The role requires a strong team player with excellent communication and relationship building skills who can demonstrate timely completion of agreed projects whilst remaining flexible. The Senior Events Executive also needs to be able to work on a range of event management projects and tasks concurrently. The nature of this position requires a great deal of working outside normal hours.
