Job Description

Applicants will have proven and demonstrable experience in successful business management to include team
management and training, budget development and control, customer care, and running efficient administration systems.

A full driving licence is also essential.

The successful candidate will be a confident, enthusiastic and an articulate communicator with a good knowledge of pet care, preferably in a welfare environment. A practical understanding of public relations and IT skills are
important.  Line managing a medium size team, the Centre Manager has overall responsibility for the site including
buildings and property, staff and volunteers, and all Blue Cross owned animals. Experience of health and safety requirements is therefore essential.

The successful candidate will work a 42 hour week on a locally determined rota that will include bank holiday and
weekend working.
