As a Store Manager Designate for our growing number of Home stores you will be working in one of a number of stores in this area and eventually have the responsibility of your own store.
This is a hands on role. Working in a busy store, you will be leading your team on the shop floor and in the warehouse to generate stock and maximise profits. You will lead by example using your commercial and leadership skills to drive our stores forward while ensuring we deliver excellent customer service at all times. Families Out Loud (FOL) is a Wiltshire charity working with families challenged by someone else’s drug and alcohol dependency, supporting them to bravely build a better life. Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, is one of the finest collections of temperate trees in the world. Its 600 acres is recognised as a Grade 1 landscape of national importance and includes ancient woodland and semi-natural grassland. Since 1956 it has been managed by the Forestry Commission (operating as Forestry England) to meet our mission 'to connect people with trees to improve the quality of life'. Our future vision is to be ‘a world leader in trees, inspiring people through education conservation, education and participation’. We will achieve this by building on our existing objectives that cover science, learning, wellbeing, volunteering and recreation.
The arboretum is a significant regional visitor attraction with over 550,000 visits annually, onsite businesses generate a turnover in excess of £6m and the arboretum makes an estimated contribution to the local economy of over £23 million. The tree collection itself is complemented and supported by high-quality visitor facilities, catering, retail and a range of events; particularly a 4 night concert series as part of Forest Live, a 12 night Christmas lights event and sporting activities. In the past decade a £7m redevelopment project has transformed the visitor experience with a new Welcome Building and car parking in 2014 and the addition in 2016 of the award winning STIHL Treetop Walkway and Wolfson Tree Management Centre. This role will lead marketing and communications activity across a diverse range of channels and audiences driving new and repeat visits to the arboretum and our events through creative campaigns. As one of our most important income streams, we are looking for someone with a strategic and analytical mind to help guide and inform our next steps.
You will have a keen understanding of the importance of donor acquisition and retention, recognise the importance of working collaboratively with other income streams and be able to work closely with our marketing team. You will be well versed with Raiser’s Edge Database and understand the importance of GDPR in your everyday work.

At Supportability we are a charity providing opportunities and support for disabled adults and children to enable them to lead the life they want. ‘Celebrating Supportability at 70’ is a Heritage Fund funded, fixed term project that investigates, describes and explains the heritage of Supportability to the people we support and the wider community.
Do you have what we are looking for?
The role will include working with volunteers, people we support and their families and the wider community in order to examine, preserve and interpret significant documents that relate to the charity’s 70-year history. It will also include researching further into other local archives and recording memories and experiences of both past and present stake holders. This will then be pulled together into an exhibition detailing the full history of Supportability, which will take place at a local library. Learning and historical materials from the project will also inform a digital timeline (web design/development will be externally commissioned) hosted on our website.
To ensure the project is accessible to the people we support the role will also involve organising (alongside our service managers) inclusive heritage themed events.
We aim to give people in the local community and beyond a greater knowledge of the history of disability support in Stockport and the part Supportability has played in that journey. Ultimately the project will be evaluated to ensure the outcomes and terms of the Heritage Lottery grant are met.

As a Delivery Manager (DM) you will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of the regional Envision programme. This includes managing delivery staff and ensuring quality assurance is in place to achieve the agreed KPIs and outputs.
Working closely with Regional Managers you will ensure schools and business partnerships are in place to enable delivery of the programme and support the delivery team to organise logistics of sessions.

- Programme Management: Oversee all aspects of the delivery of the Envision programme ensuring ongoing monitoring against milestones and outputs.

- People Management: Support Regional Managers in leading a high-performance regional team.

Essential Experience, Knowledge and Competencies:
- Experience of working with stakeholders - Building a strong rapport with stakeholders by setting clear expectations and delivering on these- Understanding the needs of partners and the challenges they face.
- Experience of project management - highly organised, with the ability to work with initiative and manage your own time to meet deadlines.
- Experience of delivering programmes with young people - including preparing engaging sessions and facilitating sessions with young people.
