RESPONSIBILITIES

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience

Proven experience and success in developing and drafting proposals and/or reports raising funds from trusts, foundations, other grant makers or the equivalent.

Key Tasks

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all high value fundraising activity, including proposals, applications, and donor interactions, and be able to regularly report this activity back to the Head of Philanthropy.

Manage a portfolio of low-mid level prospects and existing donors, developing clear strategies to cultivate relationships and secure continued philanthropic support of £1,000 to £10,000. Ensure the upkeep of a database and filing system for all existing and prospective donors within High Value Giving liaising with the Finance and Administrative team to ensure reconciliation with financial record.

Responsibilities of our Individual Giving Assistant:
The Acquistion & Retention teams, which make up the Individual Giving team, work together to maxmise the long-term return on investment for individual donors. In this varied role, you will play a key part in delivering the charity’s Individual Giving programme from concept to delivery, ensuring communications are delivered on time, to the agreed audience, within budget and to the highest quality. You will support in managing relationships with various external agencies, ensuring Cats Protection receives the best possible service. You will also liaise with a number of internal departments to ensure they are briefed on Individual Giving Activity.

Development / Fundraising Assistant

Main duties and responsibilities
· Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors to maximize financial support and our community of supporters.
· Plan and execute individual giving campaigns, across all available communication channels to engage donors effectively.

Tyndale House is a renowned institute for biblical studies and possesses one of the finest libraries for biblical research in the world. The role of Personal Assistant to the Principal will provide the Principal with proactive and confidential project-related and administrative support, with a particular focus on development and fundraising activities. The Partnerships Executive (Trusts & Foundations) is a key role within the Trusts and Foundations fundraising team, working closely with the Senior Partnerships Executive and Senior Partnerships Manager to maximise income from Trusts and Foundations. The post holder will work with the Fundraising Assistant to manage SHS’s small trusts and foundations programme securing four-figure grants, as well as managing a portfolio of medium trusts and foundations to secure five-figure grants.
This role is a great opportunity for candidates with some experience in trusts and foundations fundraising looking to progress in their career. You will be part of a small team who work closely together, and there will be plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and experience. In order to be successful you will need to be able to write concisely and persuasively, be confident in building relationships with funders, and manage a varied workload. The Database Assistant will work with colleagues to ensure the team have access to accurate, timely and comprehensive data to support and enable effective fundraising activity.

The Role
Lead the delivery of planned activities and promotion of legacy and in memory fundraising products to achieve budget net income and grow the active support base.
Project manage all elements required to deliver planned activities.
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop on and offline marketing materials for legacy and in memory fundraising activities.
Support with line management of the Supporter Care Assistant where necessary.
The Candidate
Significant demonstrable and relevant experience of in memory and/or legacy fundraising.
Experience of developing and promoting in memory and/or legacy fundraising products.
Experience of using a variety of on- and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to acquire and develop donors / customers.
Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets.
