We’re looking for a dynamic, creative and caring Community Coordinator to join our team. You’ll be primarily responsible for managing our programme of community activities, events and therapies at our wellbeing hub and garden in Camden. 

You’ll be helping to provide a place where people can find belonging and get support navigating life, as we continue to develop the Hub from its roots as a mental health day centre into an accessible, thriving community wellbeing hub.

Coordinating the curation, planning, scheduling and delivery of community projects, activities and events at the Likewise Wellbeing Hub and Garden

Working with relationship building, conflict, rupture, and repair with, and between, community members 

Being a point of contact with community members and activity hosts

Coordinating placement student team to manage communication channels for the community, including social media, digital content and website updates

Working in collaboration and partnership with our Programme Lead, Learning Programme Coordinator and Office/Hub Administrator to realise the full potential of our Community Programme 

Community Engagement

Increasing access and engagement with the Hub from a diverse community through partnerships, informal and formal referral networks

Working with the Programme Lead to build engagement with the community programme through programming, marketing and communications

Developing and building on the participation, voice, and sense of ownership of community members in the Community Hub

Ensuring accurate and useful data collection for the Community Programme

About the role

In this role, you will offer clinical supervision to the Macmillan Support Line teams including advisers, nurses, line managers, service knowledge specialists and other groups and individuals as needed. As part of their continuing professional development, you will enable colleagues to reflect on their practice in supporting people affected by cancer while maintaining their own wellbeing.

You will be part of a team of 3 part-time clinical supervisors and will be given opportunities to feedback on recurrent themes to the organisation. You will learn about organisational wellbeing and be a key part of a team capable of working in an emotionally challenging, fast paced, live contact centre environment.

You will be running regular small group supervision sessions (approximately 3 per day) for 1hr 15’ each, managing a caseload of approximately 25 groups monthly. You will also offer individual supervision where needed.

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• You must hold one of the following qualifications: Clinical Supervision Level 6 or above; accredited Counsellor or Psychotherapist (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, UK Council for Psychotherapy, Health Professionals Council)
• Your experience of delivering both 1-1 and group supervision virtually will be essential
• Experience of delivering supervision to colleagues who provide a live, frontline, fast paced health related service is desirable

Title: Fundraising Officer.

Role context: Stonewall Housing is currently growing its Development Team, and this Fundraising Officer will play an integral part in maximising Stonewall Housing’s income and raising its profile across the UK (with a particular focus on building relationships and partnerships in Birmingham and the surrounding area). It’s an exciting opportunity for the right person to make this role their own and to bring innovative ideas to our organisation.

Days per week: This role can be for 3 or 4 days per week depending on the candidate's preference.

In the role, you’ll be:

1. You’ll be building relationships with a wide range of individuals, community supporters, networks and local groups to fundraise and build awareness of Stonewall Housing’s mission, with a particular focus on Birmingham-based individuals and organisations.
2. Working with the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist on community fundraiser stewardship, where you’ll be providing support to individuals and groups fundraising for Stonewall Housing through their own events or running and challenge activities.
3. Supporting the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist with refining, developing and implementing our annual programme of Stonewall Housing-led events, including cultivation, stewardship and fundraising events.
4. Working with the Development Team to develop Stonewall Housing’s Legacy Giving programme, ‘Over the Rainbow’.
5. Supporting the Training Lead by delivering engaging in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops to other organisations and networks across the public and private sectors. You’ll be empowering teams of all sizes to confidently meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people in their staff team or accessing their services. You will receive comprehensive and bespoke Stonewall Housing training in how to best deliver these sessions. 
6. Supporting the Development Team and the wider organisation by taking part in external panels and speaking engagement opportunities, confidently representing the work of Stonewall Housing.
7. Developing new compelling cases for support both for individual donors and for broader fundraising activities.
8. Using data and evidence to monitor KPIs and track trends, helping the Development Team make informed decisions.
9. Supporting the wider Development Team with the day-to-day running of fundraising, comms, and awareness activity.

Your experience:

· Experience of developing and enacting ambitious strategic plans for a fundraising area (this could be Community Giving, Events, Individual Giving, Corporate Giving, or similar).

· Demonstrable understanding of implementing best practice to fundraising activities.

· A track record of building positive and prosperous relationships with supporters.

· Experience of developing engaging supporter journeys.

Your skills and attributes:

· Confident and enthusiastic public speaker, at both in person or virtual events.

· A creative problem solver with a solutions-focussed outlook.

· Excellent team player who likes to get stuck into new tasks and action groups.

· Organised, efficient and driven.

· Up-to-date knowledge of website donation tools (e.g. JustGiving etc).

We are looking for a full time Peer Engagement Practitioner.

This is an innovative new service, integrating the expertise, skills and knowledge of the network in Barnet with NHS Mental Health services. The purpose of the role is to provide peer led psycho-social support to clients, working within specialist Mental Health teams and the VCS delivery partners. Role Description

This new role of Programme Officer (Social Change) will play an integral part in ensuring our grant making has the best possible impact. Working with the Programme Manager (Social Change) and the wider Impact Team, you will be the first point of contact for potential grant applicants and deliver effective processes that ensure that anyone who applies to us for funding has a positive experience, whether they are successful or not. You will lead on all aspects of administering our Social Change grant calls and provide the rest of the team with the information needed to support robust and transparent decision-making. You will also be involved in events for our applicants and will work with colleagues to continually refine and improve our grant making processes.

Role Responsibilities:

Administering grant processes:

· Working with the Programme Manager (Social Change) to update application and guidance forms for each funding round

· Work closely with colleagues to set up the grant call in our online grant management system.

· Provide guidance to potential applicants and respond to their queries, e.g. about eligibility.

· Work with colleagues who run the research funding programme to ensure that opportunities for efficiencies and shared processes are maximised

· Process grant applications, ensuring that we adhere to the highest standards of grant making

· Assist with the preparation of papers to support our decision-making processes, including supporting our Social Change Grants Assessment Panel (SGAP) by ensuring they have all relevant information and that the meetings run smoothly.

· Following final decision, ensure that terms and conditions and award letters are sent to successful applicants and ensure a smooth transition of projects to the Programme Manager (Social Change) who will manage the active projects.

Event support and attendance

· Assist with the organisation and delivery of in person and online meetings and events, e.g. a feedback session for unsuccessful applicants.

· Assist with the organisation of visits relating to the social change funding programme, e.g. helping put together briefing documents, supporting with arrangements and highlighting opportunities for stories and impact with communications colleagues.

Team support:

· Provide support to the wider Impact team where required, e.g. working with the finance team on the processing of invoices.

· Assisting the team in keeping accurate and up to date records, including on the online grants management system and ensure that all relevant records are readily and easily available

· Health or social sciences degree or with experience of working in grant making or similar

· Experience of working in an office/ administrative environment, ideally as part of a hybrid team

• Reports to Operations Director

• Ensures and enables successful day-to-day food collection and distribution operations by providing consistent support, guidance, and management to the volunteer Foremen.

• Ensures all agreed operational Surplus to Supper processes are followed consistently every day.

• Provides an on-going link and communication from one day shift to another ensuring that all scheduled and ad-hoc daily and weekly requirements – either food distribution or kitchen/event – are met. 

• When there is no daily volunteer foreman, covers the foreman role for the day. Also, could cover a missing driver shift (although should be a real exception).

• Handles ad-hoc collections and distributions outside the normal morning shifts (where no volunteers available)

• Acts as the contact point for suppliers and projects for ad-hoc requests and specific daily requirements

• In collaboration with Ops Director and Chef ensures clarity on what food is kept in the big freezer for kitchen and what can be distributed. 

• Ensures optimal usage of Surplus to Supper storage capacity.

• Onboards and test drives with the new volunteer drivers.

• Manages distribution and collection documentation ensuring all shifts have the required documents to complete and that completed documents are processed correctly. 

• Manages the shift rota.

• Owns the Surplus to Supper fleet of vans ensuring that those are available and in good condition. Deals with any service and maintenance needs and logistics. 

• Owns the Surplus to Supper distribution freezers and chillers ensuring those are available and in good condition. Deals with any service and maintenance needs and logistics. 

• Works 30 hours a week normally during Tuesday to Saturday 8am to 2pm (Saturdays to be rotated with Mondays once a month).

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Monitor and triage incoming tickets (Freshservice ITSM tool), provide timely response to all issues, update internal customers on status, solicit additional information, if needed;

• Responsible for the full professional handling of customer questions, requests, and incidents and take measures when issues arise; 

• Identify possibilities for structural improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT services, for example using PowerAutomate or similar;
