ROLE PURPOSE
This position involves identifying and prioritising potential donors capable of making significant contributions to help us deliver a range of projects aimed at enhancing the student experience and supporting the local community. By providing the Development and Fundraising Team with tailored and insightful research, this role will enhance the prospect funding pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of a diverse pools of donors, including individuals, grant-making trusts, and companies. This role will also manage a well-structured stewardship program for donors. Responsibilities include promptly acknowledging donations, creating personalised impact reports, and overseeing bi-annual events which recognise and celebrate their support.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To maintain and develop the University’s database of fundraising prospects through proactive identification, analysis, and segmentation, (individual and aggregate) record updating, and original research, including the identification of new prospects.
· To prepare prospect profiles (which may include wealth ratings), and work with relationship managers to devise appropriate tailored cultivation and solicitation plans, enabling appropriately targeted fundraising asks.
· To develop and manage reporting in the database across fundraising portfolios to help ensure prospects are strategically moving along the prospect pipeline towards major gift solicitation • To produce and provide due-diligence reports on prospective donors as part of the University’s gift acceptance procedures.
· To deliver an annual donor recognition event to acknowledge and celebrate the support of the University’s most generous supporters.
· To organise smaller bespoke events for higher level donors to the university, for example, site visits to project sites and/or opportunities to meet student beneficiaries.
· To write insightful and impactful bespoke reports for donors supporting the University, ensuring reports demonstrate the positive impact of support and encourage repeat gift solicitation from the fundraising team.
· To keep abreast of regulations, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) ensuring that all prospect research and cultivation is compliant and understood by fundraisers.

CONTEXT
The primary purpose of the Development team is to secure philanthropic income to support the delivery of the University’s Being Westminster 2022-2029 strategy. The Development team forms part of the Global Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Communications (GRAMC) directorate. The team also works closely with the Business Engagement Directorate to deliver an integrated approach to the University’s relationships with its key external stakeholders. The Development team collaborates with the Alumni Relations team to inspire and engage the University of Westminster’s vibrant, global community of alumni and supporters to build lifelong and mutually beneficial relationships with the institution.
DIMENSIONS
· The role has no budgetary responsibility.

Free Tibet is a small but effective campaign organisation based in south London. Job Description
Fundraising
- Oversee all income-generation activity across Free Tibet and Tibet Watch. Ensure continuous improvement and innovation and an appropriate balance of fundraising activity across all streams. Current streams include postal appeals, online appeals, and the Free Tibet online shop.
- Manage applications for grant funding on behalf of both Free Tibet and Tibet Watch, working with the Fundraising Officer to build a strong portfolio of five and six-figure grants and steward them for renewal.
- Lead on the recruitment and retention of donors, especially Major Donors, and redevelop supporter journeys and stewardship programs.
- Evaluate new ideas for income generation and strategies for implementation, especially corporate and challenge events / community fundraising.
- Impact reporting of fundraising activity and the performance of quarterly appeals, with a view to improve internal processes for greater income innovation and ROI.
- Liaise with the Free Tibet Campaigns & Research Teams to ensure that campaigning, digital and fundraising activities are seamlessly coordinated.
- Managing relationships with third party agencies, like mailing services and digital mobilisation agencies, making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.
- Ensure that our new Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, Raiser’s Edge NXT, is used effectively and to its full potential.

The Individual Giving Manager (Retention) will work within the Public Fundraising Team and play a key part in growing and sustaining income from our individual giving audiences of cash donors and regular giving supporters. Role Responsibilities:
This role plays a key part in driving income growth and sustainability in our Individual Giving programme.
Your priorities will include:
· Driving the strategic and operational planning of Individual Giving to deliver strong income growth and return of investment (ROI), ensuring agreed targets and KPIs are achieved in relation to retention and conversion of existing donors.
· Devising and delivering the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and operational plans.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Head of Fundraising to report to the Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will sit on the Senior Management Team, working closely with the CEO, Head of Operations and Head of Delivery and Engagement.
You will have substantial, proven experience of working in fundraising and of developing and sustaining partnerships, ideally in the third sector, and of how to build financial sustainability. You will be a highly organised people-person and will be responsible for line managing two Fundraising and Marketing Officers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Development and delivery of the charity’s fundraising strategy
· To work closely with the CEO and trustee board to lead on the development, planning and delivery the Doorstep Library’s fundraising strategy, with further development of a longer-term strategy;
· To manage and build upon the income streams for the charity;
· To take a lead on application bids, including managing, monitoring and evaluating all funding applications;
· To work closely with the SMT and actively contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the charity;
Grow, develop and sustain our partnerships and income streams
· To lead, deliver and grow our existing relationships with all of our funding partners; foundations, corporates, independent schools and individual donors to raise circa £850K pa;
· To identify new potential partners, working closely with the CEO and board of trustees to develop these partnerships;
· To establish a corporate supporters programme and individual giving campaigns, plus develop effective stewardship systems;
· To have responsibility for retaining and engaging the charity’s supporters, this includes providing formal reports and updates on the work of the charity;

MAIN PURPOSE
The Major Donor Manager, reporting into the Director of Development and working with some guidance from the Head of Major Gifts, will maintain and grow a stable pipeline of income from Major Donors. He/she will secure unrestricted and restricted income from a portfolio of Major Donors to support the activities of the Stella Maris network in the UK and overseas. About the role
The Crisis Financing Training & Capacity Development Advisor will be responsible for developing and expanding an innovative package of trainings and learning for the Start Network.
You will play a crucial role in the ongoing capacity development of Start Network organisation, by disseminating and institutionalising new developments in learning, knowledge and terminology
related to Start Network crisis financing programming throughout the staff team.
You will continue to develop new and strengthen existing training packages that are of high quality and will ensure that Start Network's New Financing programming is mainstreamed throughout the sector in a sustainable manner.
You will be responsible for assisting in delivering trainings to member agency colleagues, Start Network Hubs as well as training the Start Network team. You will coordinate a group of ‘trainers' who can offer high quality capacity development opportunities. You will also ensure that monitoring, evaluation and accountability is built into capacity development to measure outputs and outcomes more systematically.
In this role, you will:
- Leverage technical expertise from Start team members, technical partners and the anticipation and risk financing building blocks framework to design modularised training and learning materials to meet the capacity development needs of the Start Network, including e-learning.
- Identify and develop a training of trainers (TOT) programme and build up a group of trainers within the Start team and across the Start Network membership.

As Local Mobilisation Officer, you will support the delivery of our ambitious programme to mobilise food banks in the Trussell network to campaign for change. About this exciting opportunity
Our successful candidate will develop and design high-quality applications, presentations, and pitches to secure multi-year unrestricted gifts from key supporters including Trusts, Foundations & Major Donors that support St Giles’ values & ethos. You will provide excellent stewardship to existing donors, including writing reports, arranging, planning and hosting visits for key stakeholders, and providing support to the Head of Voluntary Fundraising & Executive Director of Fundraising with reports, due diligence procedures and applications.
We will rely on you to work collaboratively to identify, plan and deliver local and national fundraising appeals, provide excellent stewardship to individual donors through the creation and implementation of quality donor journeys, and maintain promote, and diversify a small portfolio of challenge events our supporters can take part in. Providing line management, supervision and coaching to a Fundraising Assistant is also a key element of this role, as are contributing to refining processes and record-keeping to ensure that we are utilising database and systems to their maximum potential and contributing to the implementation of the income generation strategy.
What we are looking for
- Proven record of winning and/or managing a portfolio of grants, or relevant experience/transferable skills.
- Experience working with a CRM or fundraising database, preferably ETapestry.
- Experience of building supporter journeys for various audiences.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative ideas to help us stand out to our existing and new donors.
- Advanced IT skills – Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint (essential) Canva.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to write compelling and informative copy for reports, applications and external communications.

The Finance Manager of Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board is responsible for the success of the organisation with responsibility in particular for:

Main Duties
1. Set and control the organisation’s budgets, financial procedures and accounting system in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer. Manage and report on the budgets which include a multitude of funders.
2. Manage the Finance Department staff and oversee all day-to-day financial transactions of the organisation using SAGE, the computerised bookkeeping system. Oversee preparation of the monthly payroll, using SAGE payroll and make PAYE payments and RTI returns to the Inland Revenue.
3. Maintain an accurate Fixed Asset register.
4. Liaise with the Welsh Government and any other external organisations such as Cwlwm and including Local Authorities involved with the finances of the organisation.
5. Assist the Chief Executive Officer with the development of a fund raising and income generation programme and the preparation of figures for any funding applications.
6. Assist the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Team with staffing and financing recommendations to the Board.
7. Ensure that the organisation complies with financial and legal requirements.

Introduction to the team
The Research and Evidence team carries out, commissions and partners on high quality research, including evaluation research. We seek to advance NSPCC's understanding of, and improve the evidence base around, the prevention of child abuse, and how best to support children who have experienced it. Our research is used to improve our work with children, families and communities, influence the development of policy and contribute to new NSPCC campaigns. We also support research activity at NSPCC via our research advice clinic, evidence summary service, and the NSPCC Research Ethics Committee (made up of external experts).
About the role
This is an exciting and varied role with the opportunity to disseminate research findings directly to those who will be putting them into practice. You will be:
