We are looking for an experienced CEO or senior charity manager, able to manage the business functions of a charity that is just starting out. You will have a proven track record of managing a small, prosocial organisation and setting up the systems necessary for success. As CEO an important goal will be to put the charity on a firm foundation for long-term sustainability. Knowledge and/or lived experience of mental health difficulties and the relevant support services/treatment modalities is essential; experience working within the mental health sector is highly desirable. About The Role

Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust (RGHT) manages the important historic buildings and community assets for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. These include Charlton House and Gardens, the Archive and Museum Collections, Tudor Barn, and various memorials across the Borough. The Head of Marketing & Commercial has overall responsibility for the Trust’s marketing, room and site hire, and events. They ensure a continual public programme, commercial events and marketing efforts for year-round activities are in line with the vision and strategic plan, and that income targets are met, working in collaboration with the Finance and Programming Committee of the Board.
You will be responsible for:
1) The effective marketing and communication of all activities at the Trust.
2) Managing the hire of our rooms and grounds for events, weddings, celebrations and corporate use.
3) Overseeing the production and delivery of projects and programmes to highlight the assets in our care, leading to audience growth on site and meaningful engagement primarily across the Royal Borough.

Leadership and Management

Commercial: Hire and events programming
14. Manage the Venue Sales Manager and Bookings Co-ordinator to develop and deliver the Trust’s activities programme to generate maximum profit from hire of the estate for functions, filming, community use.
15. Trial and deliver new approaches to income generating activity and events.
16. Develop a paid for programme of activity that provides access to the heritage in our care to new audiences, including the development, implementation, monitoring, impact and overall success of the programme.
17. Ensure all programming delivers significant Return on Investment where external grant funding is not available, supporting the income generation targets of the Trust.
General

Job Responsibilities
The General Manager is integral to the management of Deptford X and the delivery and development of its ambitious programmes. We are looking for a positive people-person with commercial development experience, exceptional financial acumen and the ambition to help take ANT to our next level of impact, as we prepare for exponential growth over the next year. As a fast-growing, high impact charity all of our roles have direct operational responsibilities in addition to managing teams and thinking strategically and with vision.
Main responsibilities
● Lead from the front in the development and implementation of a Commercial Trading Arm for ANT and spearhead new sources of income including green finance
● Ensure development of finance models and plans to support Landscape Recovery, including natural capital frameworks and administration of government agriculture subsidies
