The Role
In this new role as a Development Surveyor at the Trust, you'll play an important part in advancing our Property Strategy, taking forward capital projects, in support of extending our charitable impact and growing our income to do so. Working closely with the Property Director, you'll lead multiple capital projects of differing scales and varying timelines, focusing on the redevelopment of rural assets, brownfield sites, and new developments focused on rural land and property.
Your expertise will be instrumental in managing relationships with partners, planning authorities, consultants and influential stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. You'll be part of the Head Office-based Property team, with occasional travel to our rural landholdings across England.
Main Accountabilities:
- Assess and manage the Trust's portfolio of capital projects with a focus on maximising value and impact.
- Lead the development process from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the Trust's strategic objectives and values.
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders and potential partners to advance developmentprojects.
- Serve as a Trust ambassador, representing our interests in various forums and engagements.
- Provide expertise in financial and development appraisals to guide decision-making.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Property Director, addressing risks and opportunities.

The Trust’s Estates

These rural landholdings are managed for income return and capital growth, whilst seeking ways to improve the environment and important habitats, evolving and protecting the landscapes.

Position summary
SAT-7 is currently looking to recruit a Development Officer to join SAT-7s Development Department.
The purpose of SAT-7 is to provide Christian television and digital media services to support the work and witness of the church in the Middle East and North Africa.
SAT-7’s Development department works with projects to address often controversial issues in the MENA region such as disability, discrimination, limited educational opportunities, women’s and children’s rights through the TV-programs and through on the ground partners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the activities of SAT-7 PARS, SAT-7’s Farsi speaking channel, including the drafting of fundraising proposals.
Summary of key responsibilities
- Development of fundraising proposals for SAT-7 PARS’ channel projects in cooperation with all relevant SAT-7 stakeholders
- Conduct frequent MENA context analysis with special focus on the situation for Christians, FoRB, women, children, disabilities, education etc.

Our award-winning charity provides complementary therapies to people living with cancer in Berkshire, empowering them and giving them control and choices over the treatments that will help to impove their physcial and mental wellbeing. As our new Supporter Development Officer you will enhance existing relationships in our community, and with our current supporters - as well as build new connections - to secure the financial and other support required to fund our growing services. You will work with individuals, community groups and businesses across our area, as well as alongside our fabulous volunteer fundraising committee who organise numerous highly successful fundraising events each year.
You will be a fantastic ambassador for our organisation, able to convince others to support our valubable work. You'll join a small but growing staff team, who facilitate the work of our large team of incredible volunteer therapists, meeter greeters and volunteer fundraisers, so you need to be a team player, with great communication skills and attention to detail.
It's a busy, multi-faceted role, great for someone who likes to carry out a broad range of fundraising activities rather than be pigeon-holed (experience in individual giving, commuity fundraising and/or corporate fundraising would be an advantage). Knowledge of the local area and/or complementary therapies, and an understanding of cancer, could be beneficial.Because a lot of the role will be out and about across the county and beyond, meeting people face to face, you'll also need to be a driver with access to a vehicle for work (reasonable adjusments considered).

CPRE’s Volunteering Development Officer provides excellent advice on best practice in volunteer engagement so we ensure people from all walks of life can volunteer with us. You’ll work with the network of 40 county-based charities and with our national CPRE to expand how we campaign for the countryside through volunteering.
You’ll be working part-time (three days a week) in our Volunteering & Participation team, with the Volunteering and Participation Manager and Volunteering Development Assistant. You’ll also work closely with our Director of Communities and Participation and the Network Engagement team, who are part of the wider Communities and Participation Directorate.
This varied role helps to deliver CPRE’s volunteering strategy, to find a way in for everyone to care for the countryside. You’ll be supporting volunteer coordinators, trustees and others to identify priority volunteer vacancies and assist in driving the recruitment of a diverse range of new volunteers.
You’ll encourage peer to peer networking with Volunteer Coordinators, welcoming new volunteer coordinators into the group and hosting network meetings. Working closely with the Volunteering Development Assistant you’ll be key to the delivery of both our national online volunteer induction programme and our national volunteer awards programme. These initiatives aim to give volunteers a warm welcome to the charity, and recognise and celebrate volunteer achievement.
You’ll receive training to use our volunteer management system Assemble and you’ll support others to make the best use of the system. You’ll be adept at collaborative working, and you’ll be supportive of increasing the diversity of people who volunteer for CPRE. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with the team to deliver training, and you’ll be able to develop interesting, impactful new volunteering roles with national and local teams.

High Trees are seeking a dynamic and creative Community Capacity Building Officer to provide tailored development support to local organisations and manage projects relating to sector support. You will be joining us at an exciting time following the formation of a new Research and Development team which is starting to deliver a new capacity building offer to the local Voluntary and Community Sector, including one-to-one mentoring and the production of high-quality resources based on our experience of working with Lambeth communities for over 25 years. Your day-to-day work will be varied and over the next 12 months we expect this to include tasks such as supporting local VCS organisations on a one-to-one basis to improve their policies and procedures, managing a local grants programme, creating high quality templates and user guides, and running workshop or training sessions using the resources we have developed such as our Collaboration and Employment Toolkits. We will be developing and refining our offer to the local VCS sector over the coming year and expect this to lead to further new and exciting pieces of work.
