This is a consultancy role, reporting to the CEO, with regular interaction with the Executive Team. Primary Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the wider Fundraising team to spot and develop opportunities and support fundraising activity across the team
- Follow best practice in all aspects of fundraising and keep abreast of Place2Be’s policies and the latest developments in philanthropy and special events fundraising
What you will need:
- Experience of working in a philanthropy or fundraising role where excellent customer service skills are required, or relevant experience/transferable skills
- Experience of basic use of design software e.g. Canva, InDesign or equivalent
- Experience of organising fundraising or engagement events

The Role
You'll support the business in achieving its priorities through effective customer communications, advising on the right channels and messages to keep SNG's customers informed and engaged.
As a Customer Communications Specialist you'll create, develop, execute and project manage strategic and tactical communication plans. This will involve producing and delivering creative, engaging content and campaigns for our customers through multiple channels, including web, social media, email and SMS, direct mail and more.
It's an exciting time at SNG as we integrate our communications for former Sovereign and former Network Homes customers and establish a Community Foundation. You'll be part of supporting the transformation and change programme as we move forward together.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with key stakeholders, listening to and understanding their communication requirements and providing them with expert support.
- Working to align customer communications with external and internal communications, and with our strategy and values.
- Managing and measuring the effectiveness of our communications, including external benchmarking and best practice.
- Understanding the pressures and issues facing the social housing sector and keeping up to date with best practice in Communications and PR, particularly changes to communications innovation, legislation and codes of practice and sharing this insight with colleagues.
What we're looking for
This position would suit candidates who have previous Customer Communication experience, possibly in a housing association, local authority or similar non-profit organisation.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt your tone and write copy/create campaigns designed to generate a response or change in behaviour.
- Demonstrable experience of producing engaging customer content and campaigns.
- Experience of briefing and working with designers and creatives.
- A good understanding of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Use of email marketing and social media management platforms and tools.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our bank as a Welfare Officer, providing cover as required for the SSAFA RAF Service across the UK.
Our Bank Welfare Officers will provide direct and impactful welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family on an ad hoc basis when a full-time member of the team is unavailable to do so.
As a trusted and confidential source of support, you will assist our service users with challenges they are facing, from mental ill-health, difficult relationships, domestic abuse, financial and cost-of-living concerns, resettlement, housing, childcare, equality issues, bereavement, military discharge or deployment and many more - no day will be the same, as such this is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the Welfare sector.
Our intervention is provided with consent on a non-statutory basis, and you will work with and engage our service users to develop appropriate interventions for individual outcomes.
Our service is transitioning to become more accessible and inclusive, digital technology plays a key role in this, as such you may be asked to use digital technologies to complement and enhance processes and service user experience.
You will work closely with RAF welfare teams, local authorities, health, education, civilian agencies, charities and other military organisations to ensure the best outcome for the service user.

The Training and Conference Officer will sit within the Education and Training Division at Anna Freud, which provides a wide range of learning opportunities for people in the sphere of mental health, from short courses, events, diplomas and post-graduate courses.
They will join a friendly and supportive team working on digital transformation, and specifically on implementing a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Salesforce and Learning Management System.
They will work closely with colleagues from other teams and divisions, supporting the design, testing, development and maintenance of new systems. They will work closely with the Training, Conferences and Events Team on gathering requirements, creating and overseeing team-specific processes and resolving CRM issues.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Some previous experience of Salesforce is desirable. They will have strong organisational and analytical skills and good communication skills for liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.

Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, either at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) or our Northern Hub (Huckletree, The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD).

We are looking for an enthusiastic facilitator who can bring together professional stakeholders and communities to help plan for a better future through appropriate small-scale housing development.
You will be working in partnership with local communities and Local Authorities to achieve affordable rural housing across rural Wiltshire. You will engage with communities, housing organisations, Parish Councils, Local Authorities, landowners, developers, agents, planners, other partners and community leaders to bring forward sites and solutions to meet local need through the provision of affordable housing projects on rural sites.
Main Duties include
- Support, advise and steer communities, and town and parish councillors from their initial interest in providing affordable housing, through scheme inception and pre-development phases to completion.
- Assist communities identify the nature and extent of affordable local housing need in their community, including where appropriate through a Housing Needs Survey.
- Support rural communities to choose a delivery option that best suits their capacity and in the knowledge of the availability of local technical support.
- Assist communities identify a deliverable site for development of affordable housing and/or secure affordable housing as part of market led schemes.
- Work with communities to build and maintain support for the scheme, ensuring the community is meaningfully engaged throughout the pre-development process, including during scheme design.
- Building collaborative partnerships with key partners to provide a clear pathway to a successful planning application and delivery. Partners may include, but are not limited to, local communities, parish councils, housing association staff, officers from the Local Housing Authority and the Local Planning authority and local developers.
- Act as an honest broker between the different parties, providing informed and impartial advice.
