Standing Voice is looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager based in or near London to join our UK team. This is an exciting and challenging role in a creative and focused working environment, within an organisation with multiple programmes and funding streams across 3 countries. The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.
Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. Purpose of the Job
The Trusts and Foundations Officer will support the step change in growth of the Statutory, Trusts and Foundations income stream for The Felix Project. The team is expanding and is challenged to raise £2 million in income in 2024 from Trusts and Foundations. This target will continue to grow over the years.
You will collaborate closely with both the Trusts and Foundations Manager and the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manger to manage the warm portfolio through excellent stewardship, and to build on this strong foundation to create a high-quality pipeline of new funding opportunities to reach our aspirational income targets. On Your Side is the UK-wide support and reporting service for East and Southeast Asian communities who experience racism and/or any forms of hate.
Launched in August 2022, the service includes a 24/7 freephone helpline available in East and Southeast Asian languages; a website with reporting forms and resources; and ongoing community-based support delivered by trained casework advocates. We work to ensure that those who experience racism and/or hate have access to the highest levels of culturally competent support while building a better picture of the nature and range of incidents so they can be better prevented.
Funded by the UK Department for Levelling Up Housing and Communities, On Your Side is delivered by a consortium of 9 organisations including East and Southeast Asian led community groups alongside national hate crime reporting and hate crime prevention organisations. This role will be based at the consortium lead organisation, identity-based violence prevention charity Protection Approaches.
About the role
Based at Protection Approaches, the Project Officer will report directly to the On Your Side Project Manager, and work closely with Protection Approaches’ team, On Your Side Casework Coordinator, Outreach Officer, and all consortium partners.
This is a new and exciting role that will be central to the delivery and development of the On Your Side service as it moves into a new phase over the next 12 months as an established, sustainable service.
In this role the Project Officer will develop their project management skills as they work with the Project Manager on overall coordination of the On Your Side service including coordination of the project delivery team across partner organisations to ensure they are meeting agreed objectives to agreed timelines.
You will oversee several distinct areas of work including overseeing the strategy and work of the On Your Side Outreach Officer in developing and implementing new engagement, outreach, communications and public education strategies. You will also oversee the publishing of a quarterly data report, and ensuring data is being recorded appropriately and accurately.
You will represent the service at high profile meetings and events including meeting with current and future funders, representatives from national and local government, other policy-makers, police and, academic experts to build the profile of the service, improve its support methodologies and impact, and assist in the development and implementation of sustainability and fundraising plans for the service.
You will be trained by the Protection Approaches Outreach team on delivery of hate crime workshops, and other trainings and use those skills to deliver awareness sessions for On Your Side, raising awareness of the service and it’s benefits while supporting ESEA community members to better understand their rights and how they can tackle racism and hate.
The role is a 12-month fixed term contract. During this period we expect to secure additional resources to ensure the ongoing delivery of this service and extend the role of Project Officer.

We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. Senior Housing Officer
We are looking for a Senior Housing Officer who can oversee our specialist supported housing programme. They’ll handle the day-to-day management and maintenance of our houses, engaging with tenants and contractors, monitoring and acting on arrears and line-managing our tenant support officer.

Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum

Who are Women’s Aid?
Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federal corption of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. For almost 50 years we have campaigned on behalf of our members and survivors to shape policy and practice, and to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
Purpose of the Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer role:
As Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the implementation and maintenance of a rolling programme of prospect identification, research and the nurturing of relationships. Leading on maximising support through the corporate fundraising streams, the post holder will draft and submit applications among other approaches to prospective funders and donors. In addition to developing persuasive cases for support in line with organisational priorities, the post holder will ensure that the activities for which funds are sought are impactful, measurable and can be effectively reported on to funders. Understanding Women’s Aid work, business plans and strategic priorities will be essential, as well as an involvement in fundraising events with the purpose of relationship building, nure and networking.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer:

To be responsible for a portfolio of prospective and existing corporate supporters to solicit large donations, funding and ensure meaningful partnerships are created

Work to match funders aims with Women’s Aid’s vision, purpose and mission – using creativity and innovation to package up relevant areas of Women’s Aid work and strategy to be appealing to funders

Understanding the organisational needs and strategy in order to provide excellent account management to Corporate funders and Major Donors/High Givers.

To employ a variety of personal engagement mechanisms to ensure that prospects and supporters become, and remain, fully engaged with our cause whilst ensuring the highest level of standards of data capture are maintained on the organisational CRM.
What we are looking for in our Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer:

Proven experience of successful fundraising from Corporate supporters, major & mid level donors and Trusts.

Experience of acquiring and managing corporate Charity of the Year partnerships.

Demonstrable initiative and determination.

Line management experience.

Experience of writing reports on activities, summarising and analysing figures to make recommendations using Word, Excel and databases.

Experience of managing events for high level donors.

Experience of researching and developing targeted proposals for presentation to prospective corporate partners and major donors.

Experience of developing a strategy to meet targets.

Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

A flexible approach to work, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with people at all levels, on the telephone, face to face and in writing, and confident making presentations to diverse audiences.

Ability to monitor and evaluate patterns of support and match appropriate project proposals.

Experience of working within agreed budget constraints, ensuring that expenditure is maintained within budgets, and that income is closely monitored.

Experience of compiling budgets for funders.

Good knowledge of the funding landscape and of best practice in multiple areas of fundraising (corporate, trusts and foundations, and major donor).

Experience of using a CRM database, preferably Raiser’s Edge.

Willingness to work occasional unsocial hours as required.

Understanding of the role of Women’s Aid, of domestic abuse and the issues relating including the impacts on women and children.

Alongside its role as managing partner of See Me, the Mental Health Foundation (MHF) works in partnership with the programme to deliver its research, learning and evaluation functions. What does the role involve?

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience of producing clear reports, articles and presentations for a range of audiences.
