Railway Children works here in the UK and internationally to support vulnerable children alone and at risk on the streets and at transport hubs. They're best known for their work in India, where thousands of children arrive frightened and alone at rail and bus terminals every day. Some are passing through having fallen prey to groomers, traffickers or drug gangs. Others are lost miles from home.

In this role, you'll be working for an organisation that responds to this need by:

* Training 11,614 British Transport Police and railway staff to identify and support vulnerable children.
* Reaching and protecting 3,727 children in India across 8 railway stations and 1 bus terminal.
* Supporting 1,789 children in Tanzania to move away from the streets to a brighter future.

About the role
You'll work as part of an established and growing fundraising team to secure and steward four, five and six-figure grants from trusts, foundations and institutions in the UK and overseas.

This will include a portfolio of new and existing donors with varied day-to-day tasks. You'll submit funding proposals and manage existing grants, as well as prepare high-quality feedback reports and deliver outstanding stewardship.

• Financial Management: In line with the strategy, produce commentary for annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for review and sign off by Head of Individual Giving and Engagement.

The Fundraising Partnerships Manager will be responsible for securing and account managing national corporate partnerships, and national trusts and foundations to help air ambulance charities save even more lives across the UK.

Account Management

• Lead on research and applications for agreed national prospects, building long-term relationships with key contacts at prospective partners.
• Work with air ambulance charity members to identify projects and opportunities for national funding from trusts and foundations.

"Enthusiastic" "positive" and "not too serious" young person's counsellor wanted- words chosen by our young people! They have asked us to find a counsellor who understands their unique needs and can help them to open up. 

Our role is exciting and varied and includes offering 1-1 counselling and therapeutic groups in different settings, both in schools and the community. We are looking for a qualified and experienced counsellor to join our team and help young people aged 11-25 to find their feet. In return we are a supportive team who are really passionate. 

We use the BACP Ethical Framework to guide our practice and are seeking someone who is registered with the BACP or equivalent professional body. We would like to find someone who uses a range of counselling modalities creatively to meet the needs of young people. This role will involve some group work specifically around young women's mental health, so ideally you would have an interest in this thematic work.

There is some flexibility on working days but there is a requirement to work at least one evening per week up to 8pm. You would be working in different settings across North Cheshire East, including Knutsford, so access to transport would be an advantage. Occasional weekend work would also be required, although hours can be worked on a regular Saturday if preferred.

Salary: £37,181.68

Location: Sheffield Northbank office – please note this role is hybrid and will involve working in the office at least once a week. Applicants must be willing to work from both locations as required.

About the team

The outbound Supporter Services team is based in Sheffield, this role is part of our Income Generation directorate within the Individual Giving team and works in collaboration with our Services teams based in Sheffield. The Supporter Services team manage outbound calling activity which underpins the income raised by the Individual Giving team.

The team provides high quality services for new and existing Shelter supports helping to promote Shelter’s work, raise awareness of house and homelessness and enhance the organisation’s ability to retain and recruit supporters.

About the role

You will report into the Resource & Support Manager and develop the tele-fundraising team through active coaching, guidance and as an escalation point. You will be responsible for developing the direction of and delivering the outbound calling programme which includes anniversary and welcome calling to our supporter and leading in the testing and development of campaigns.

You’ll also be responsible for management of our supporter services outbound calling team and acting as an escalation point for any complaints, as well as being the training and development lead for tele-fundraisers supporting them to deliver high quality calls and build workplace skills for the future.

To be a successful in the role you will need to have in depth experience of working in a customer service setting in a supervisory capacity where you’ve supported colleagues in career development. Along with, proven experience of collaborative working with setting targets and supporting a team to achieve these and introducing new ideas, methods, and ways of working critiquing campaigns and activity to assess and improve.

Epic is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Development Officer to grow our fundraising and development efforts. A fundraiser at heart who loves to convince and win people over. 

The Development Officer will be responsible for all aspects of daily fundraising activities for Epic’s key segments of donors (high net worth individuals (HNWI) and intermediaries, entrepreneurs, corporations), including building and managing a database of new leads, outreaching and nurturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Development Director, the missions of the Development Officer are as follows:

1. Contribution to Epic’s Fundraising Strategy in the UK

• Collaborative work with the UK Development Director to shape and execute the fundraising strategy, bringing forth new ideas, networks and results to ensure Epic meets its income targets

• Set conversion objectives and support conversion from leads to donations

• Identify lead opportunities within networks and events, setting priorities accordingly

• Pitch Epic and its various Giving Solutions to potential donors, and build tailored-made proposals when needed

• Maintain high discipline and consistency in follow-up with leads and donors : use Epic’s CRM to build a consistent pipeline of prospects and handle the management of the database with accurate opportunities and donor and gift records 

• Evaluate and monitor the return on investment (ROI) of events and fundraising campaigns 

• Prepare compelling fundraising communications, materials and presentations for donor meetings and events 

3. Nurturing & engaging the UK Community

• Contribute to Epic’s engagement strategy for current donors to ensure an 80% renewal rate

• Maintain regular touchpoints with a subgroup of donors through activities such as sharing monitoring reports, organising field visits in the UK, and scheduling regular calls and face to face meetings. Act as the main point of contact for donors and answer to their enquiries in a timely manner

• Manage community-related administrative tasks to streamline donation processes and act as the main point of contact for donors to answer to their enquiries in a timely manner

• Craft engagement opportunities such as UK events and webinars, including drinks, talks, breakfast events, and annual gala nights. Support will be provided by our in-house dedicated Events team.

Position Requirements : 

• Candidate must have the right to work in the United Kingdom

• Excellent level of English (both spoken and written), basic level of French (written and spoken) required

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a sales, fundraising or business development role, preferably in the non-profit sector

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable networking in very different communities and strategic desk research and analysis

• Strong self-discipline and project management skills

• Strong interest in data analysis 

• Ease with database management and knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) 

• Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail

The Epic UK team is a small but dedicated team. The role requires some flexibility and a start-up attitude. 

This is a full time, permanent position, based in the London office with the possibility of two remote working days each week. 

This role reports to the UK Development Director and will involve closely working with Epic’s global development team.

About the Charity

NOAH Enterprise is a charity which seeks to help the most disadvantaged in the local community, providing a practical, empowering and caring service to people who are struggling against homelessness and exclusion and have nowhere else to turn.

Dedicated to recognising the potential in people who are at the margins of society and helping them realise it, the organisation works with the whole person to find permanently and individually tailored pathways out of homelessness.

About the role

As the first Marketing and Communications Manager to join the organisation, you'll be part of the organisation's focus on investment in key roles to help create a sustainable future for the organisation as they diversify their audiences and scale up their services. Working with a fantastic and hugely experienced Head of Fundraising and Community Engagement, you'll be joining the organisation alongside a new Community and Events Fundraiser and will work to raise the profile of the charity through a mix of traditional and digital marketing.

Core responsibilities within the role will include:

* Implementing and managing the construction, content, and regular updates of NOAH's online platforms, including website, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
* Copywriting to create documents, literature, case studies and press releases
* Design skills utilised for the creation of marketing materials
* Developing the website, and maximising its potential
* Lead the delivery of the Marketing and Communications Strategy to raise NOAH's profile and reach across Beds, Bucks, & Herts.
* Safeguard the reputation and brand of the charity.
* Leads the development of digital and print materials to support all areas of the charity such as annual report, quarterly newsletter, general advertising
* Responsible for development of social media strategy in line with charity goals, including managing content planner and managing social media channels on a day-to-day basis, using social media tools such as Hootsuite
* Liaises with local and national press including creating press releases and arranging radio interviews
* Manages the relationship and co-production with 3rd party marketing agencies

This role will suit someone ambitious and proactive who is excited about the opportunity to create a marketing and communications plan and deliver that in an environment where they are free to try new ideas, innovate and collaborate with engaged colleagues, and see ideas come to fruition.

* Previous demonstrable experience gained within a marketing and communications role
* Demonstrable experience in creating content for social media, digital marketing, social media management and traditional marketing methods
* Good level of technical knowledge and experience of relevant platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress
* Experience in responding to enquiries, comments, and feedback on social media
* Knowledge and experience of the optimisation of social media channels, primarily Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Experience maintaining, updating, and managing a website, ideally using WordPress
* An excellent command of English language, grammar and spelling for accurate copywriting and proofreading
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) with knowledge of legislation and law relevant to marketing
* A passion for identifying and sourcing interesting stories and writing engaging content
* Highly organised, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise well

About the role 

You’ll lead and coordinate our local campaigning work across Wales. Your work will help the charity improve the lives of people in local communities affected by Parkinson’s. You’ll listen to the needs of our local communities and work with volunteers and colleagues in the wider Wales team to do focussed campaigning and advocacy work. 

Through co-production you’ll ensure that the voices of people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers are heard by decision makers.

What you’ll do:

• Support the development and delivery of campaigns activity for Wales and proactively identify opportunities for public-facing campaigns.

• Recruit and manage a sustainable community of campaign volunteers.

• Use our national campaign priorities to deliver related local campaign activity.

• Organise and deliver training events for people with lived experience who wish to engage as well as campaign volunteers.

• Create content for public facing elements of campaigns, including supporter actions, web pages, newsletter and social media.

What you’ll bring:

• Ability to network and build supportive relationships with volunteers, MSs/MPs and health bodies. 

• Ability to work independently, coproductively and as a part of a team. 

• Experience in organising events. 

• Experience of delivering training to a variety of audiences 

• Excellent written and oral communication and client care skills, including a confident phone manner and an ability to produce inspiring content to motivate volunteers and staff.
