The International Department manages innovative and effective programmes on inclusive education and sustainable livelihoods, and campaigns at national, regional and global levels. Through our 5 regional offices and our Cheshire partners, LCD works in over 25 countries in Africa and Asia.
You will monitor the International Department’s income and expenditure, providing regular updates to the International Director, the International Senior Management Team and others as required on pledged income, funding pipelines, project expenditure status and co-financing requirements. Working closely with LCD’s Regional Offices, fundraising team and programme team, you will help prepare budgets for fundraising proposals, and will prepare/consolidate project reports to donors. You will also have a role in training and supporting staff in Regional Offices to implement financial policies and procedures.
You will be educated to degree level and be part-qualified in accountancy. You will need to have experience of supporting budget holders. You will have management accounting experience and be willing to travel overseas.
