We have a great opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager to join our Marketing and Income Generation Directorate. You will join us working 35 hours per week on a 12-month fixed term contract and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £46,284 per annum plus excellent benefits.
This is a remote based role however occasional travel for meetings will be required.

Responsibilities of our Brand Manager:
As Brand Manager, you will work across the organisation to manage daily requests for support and approvals on copy and design work that require constant action and collaboration both with teams right across the organisation and with external agency partners to ensure we are delivering a coherent, focused and integrated brand to our audiences. You will work closely with the Campaign Manager to build and track brand performance metrics including awareness, reach, logo recognition and sentiment and provide input and support for other projects/initiatives as required across the charity.

- Significant experience in a brand strategy and activation role
- Experience of briefing and management of creatives both in-house and external agencies

About You
* Be a qualified accountant, have experience of working in a fast paced, challenging environment and can demonstrate considerable financial knowledge of accounting standards and codes of practice, ideally in Local Government, in the completion of annual accounts.

The role
Our services are growing. We are looking for locally based sessional facilitators to support the delivery of our Moving Forward courses across the UK. Our Moving Forward courses are for anyone with a primary breast cancer diagnosis who has finished their hospital-based treatment. Courses are a combination of face to face and online support and are delivered in partnership with local NHS Trusts/Boards. The number of courses can vary across locations but will typically be between 2 - 4 courses a year.
This is offered as a contract for services position and as such the appointed contractor would not be an employee of Breast Cancer Now but a self-employed individual. We require all contractors to adhere to and follow Breast Cancer Now applicable policies and procedures and to undertake some mandatory training in core subjects such as data protection and cyber security. A satisfactory criminal record check will be required.

You will be based locally to one of the available locations with a strong background in group facilitation and course delivery. You will also have excellent organisation and time-management skills, superb oral and written communication skills, and the ability to multitask. You will work independently across a geographical area, supported by the regional services team and our local volunteers.

Lincoln, Boston (Lincolnshire), Halifax/Huddersfield, Newcastle, Middlesbrough/Stockton, Stoke and Stafford
Pay: We offer flat fees for work undertaken delivering our services as listed below:
· £25 per hour when facilitating a course (course duration will vary depending on location).
· Additional fees for attending training and update meetings. We do not pay for travel time, unless asked to travel outside of geographical area.

A Drug and Alcohol Recovery Practitioner is required at a service in Guildford to join the team in assisting clients with issues surrounding substance and alcohol misuse. This position will be on site 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Offer tailored, high-quality services that prioritise the individual needs and preferences of clients and their loved ones.
- Provide education and guidance on harm reduction, including distributing needles and syringes, offering brief and extended recovery interventions, addressing blood-borne viruses, and preventing overdoses through naloxone programs.
- Assist clients in accessing education, employment, health, and recovery support services, while also connecting them with other relevant resources.
- Provide evidence-based, personalised psychosocial support both individually and in group settings, integrated seamlessly into comprehensive care plans, while proactively addressing any disengagement issues.
- Empower volunteers, peer mentors, and client representatives to actively participate in the services.
- Identify and mitigate risks in line with local, national, and organisational safeguarding policies.
- Contribute actively to interdisciplinary review meetings both internally and externally.
Experience Required:
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines, maintaining accurate records promptly, and staying composed under pressure.
- Experience or evident capability in delivering high-quality services to individuals with complex needs, including conducting one-on-one sessions, facilitating group sessions, conducting assessments, and maintaining thorough and timely documentation.
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and various case management systems.
