This is a very exciting time to be joining Ability Housing Association as we deliver our Customer Strategy within our in-house Contact Centre. We are seeking an enthusiastic and courteous individual to join our team with a commitment to delivering an excellent service to our customers.
This is a busy and varied role in which you will act as a first point of contact for our customers and stakeholders, responding to housing and repair-related queries. Every day can create a new challenge.
You will be dealing with tenants, colleagues from across the organization, and staff from other close business partners, helping and escalating queries to the relevant department or Contractor as appropriate.
Experience in the social housing sector is desirable, although we will consider applications from other sectors, as full training will be provided. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office as you will be handling queries through a range of channels. Previous experience using a CRM system would also be ideal.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key member of HCPT’s Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the effective delivery and high performance of all operational and business support aspects of the charity’s work. This includes leadership of all business support functions; Finance, HR, IT and Governance, working with and through internal teams and external business partners. As such we are looking for an experienced chartered accountant who is also astute in leading the wider business operation of medium sized charity.
The postholder will have oversight of the quality and efficiency aspects of all that we do in planning and execution of pilgrimages, care & safeguarding, compliance and infrastructure and will support the CEO to develop a culture of accountability and high impact, whilst staying true to our values of: Compassion, Faith, Inclusion, Community and Celebration.
The COO will ensure that HCPT’s operations are safe, efficient, and aligned with our Catholic ethos and mission of inclusion and care, and that our performance is optimised to deliver excellence, which is: THE BEST pilgrimage experience we can offer as defined and measured by our beneficiaries and volunteers.
This is a senior role in volunteer-led organisation and as such the successful postholder will be required to exercise flexibility with evening and weekend work to meet the business needs of the charity, given the availability of our volunteer leaders who have professional commitments during the day.

About the Role
The core purpose of the challenge events coordinator role is to plan and deliver a portfolio of established challenge events to generate income, engage our supporters and raise awareness of SIA’s wider work. Working closely with the philanthropy and events manager, this role will help to grow, diversify, and sustain fundraising income as part of the wider business development team, feeding into the 2030 strategy.
SIA’s vision is a fulfilled life for everyone affected by spinal cord injury with the aim to double the number of members accessing our network of services – this role connects companies and individuals with our work providing a platform to engage the public with our cause. The plays a key part in developing innovative, cost-effective, fundraising opportunities that will appeal to supporters, ensuring they are financially, actively, and emotionally engaged with SIA.
SIA delivers an array of challenge events including the London Marathon, accessible adventure challenge, overseas bike ride and superhero triathlon alongside support for individuals who choose to support SIA through their own sponsored challenge. We continually review and update our portfolio of events to ensure we offer a range of appealing, inclusive and innovative events. The challenge events coordinator will play a vital part in developing and shaping our future events with the guidance of the philanthropy and events manager.

Role Purpose
The Coordinator role provides high-quality operational, administrative and coordination support across central services ensuring process efficiency, excellent stakeholder engagement, accurate data management and seamless delivery of organisational activity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational & Administrative Support
· Act as first point of contact for enquiries via phone, email, or digital platforms, providing accurate information and escalating where required.
· Manage shared inboxes and enquiry channels, ensuring timely, high-quality responses.
· Maintain accurate records in central relationship management (CRM) systems and specialist databases (e.g., qualifications, membership, orders).
