Join SmellTaste and lead the development of the charity’s involvement in research, shaping how lived experience of those affected by smell and taste impairment is integrated in research projects. As Research Development and Engagement Manager, you will lead engagement with researchers, our patient community, and external partners to develop and support new research collaborations. This includes leading the Public and Patient Involvement activity for a 12-month National Institute of Health Research-funded Programme Development Grant, the ICAST Programme: Improving Care for patients with Smell & Taste Disorders, and undertaking planning work for the prospective Programme Grant which is expected to follow this.
This post is funded for 2 days (15 hours) per week for an initial 12-month period, with the potential for the contract to be extended and for it to become a full-time role subject to further funding being secured.

Go Beyond has given over 21,000 vulnerable children life-changing residential breaks since 1994. Young carers who spend their days looking after parents. Who are The Outrunners?
The Outrunners are a running and movement charity based in Hackney, on a mission to empower young people through movement. Backed by an incredible crew of volunteers and partner brands like Nike and Moju, we help young people in East London to build confidence, wellbeing, health and leadership skills.
We deliver free, fun, sociable, youth‑led running and movement sessions for 8–18 year olds every week - during term time and holidays. But we’re about more than just running. Our achievements
We’re a small charity but we pack a mighty punch. Our income has grown year-on-year since we became a charity 6 years ago - allowing us to expand our core team and move into office premises large enough to incorporate a Youth Hub. To give you a sense of the kinds of work that we do, over the last year we have:
Hosted a free Girls’ Festival for 100+ ethnically diverse young girls, allowing them to try running sessions, creative classes and yoga experiences in a safe and empowering environment.
Hosted free training academies for ethnically diverse women and young people aged 16-21 to train for their very first half or full marathons! We offered physical, emotional and logistical support throughout their training journey and cheered on every single one of them as they ran either the Hackney Half or the London Marathon under the Outrunners name. Since programme launch, we have worked with over 250 people in our Academies.
Took diverse groups of young people to races and events, such as Hackney School run and Black to the Trails.
Offered personalised mentoring to several of our young people who were struggling with school or life.
Expanded the career horizons of young people by offering them a free work experience opportunity with our partner brands.
What do we want?
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser for a strategic and hands-on role who loves working in a small, ambitious charity and wants to help shape the next stage of growth at The Outrunners (current annual income circa £350k).
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead on income generation, with a primary focus on trusts and foundations, while growing a more diverse and sustainable income mix through corporate partnerships, community fundraising and individual giving.

The Grants and Trusts Manager will play a vital role in growing income from Charitable Trusts, Foundations, and Statutory funding by identifying new funding opportunities, developing compelling, high-quality funding applications, and delivering excellent stewardship. This role will support Lakeland Arts’ artistic, heritage, learning, and engagement programmes across our sites in the Lake District including Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house, Abbot Hall art gallery, and Windermere Jetty Museum. You will collaborate with colleagues to develop strong, place-based cases for support aligned with the charity’s strategic priorities. Key Responsibilities Trusts, Foundations & Statutory Fundraising • Identify, research, and qualify funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies – including Arts Council England - to support the conservation of our artistic, heritage, learning, and engagement activity. • Lead on writing and submitting high-quality funding applications, securing both unrestricted income and project-specific funding aligned with Lakeland Arts’ strategy. • Develop compelling proposals that clearly articulate the significance of our extensive collections, the benefit of public access to these and the value of our heritage, and community impact, using evaluation data, audience insight, and partnership testimonials. • Maintain ownership of a proactive and balanced funding pipeline, ensuring prospects are thoughtfully approached and progressed through the fundraising cycle. Stewardship, Reporting & Relationship Management • Steward a balanced portfolio of funders, building strong, long-term relationships through regular communication and engagement opportunities (including site visits where appropriate), while complying with funding agreements. • Maintain a clear calendar of applications, reports, renewals, and deadlines, ensuring all funder requirements are met to a high standard and on time. • Produce clear, engaging funder reports that demonstrate impact, successful financial management, and agreed outcomes. Internal Collaboration & Funding Priorities • Work collaboratively with colleagues across curatorial, participation & learning, conservation workshop, visitor experience, finance, and leadership teams to shape strong, well-informed funding bids. • Proactively gather information to ensure funding proposals reflect current and emerging organisational priorities. • Contribute to a positive, collaborative culture that values shared learning and cross-departmental working. Data, Systems & Performance Management • Use CRM systems to accurately record fundraising activity, funder communications, deadlines, and outcomes. • Track and analyse fundraising performance against income targets and KPIs, contributing to internal reporting, forecasting, and strategy reviews. • Ensure compliance with fundraising best practice, data protection, charity law, and internal policies and procedures. Representation & Wider Development Activity • Act as a confident and knowledgeable ambassador for Lakeland Arts, representing the charity at funder meetings, networking events, and sector committees. • Support wider development activity, including campaigns, events, and partnership work as required. • Provide administrative and project support to the Development team when needed. Purpose:
The New Dawn Day Service Manager is responsible to lead, manage, and develop a safe, inclusive, and high-quality day service. The role focuses on delivering activities that promote independence, social inclusion, and well-being for service users while managing daily operations, regulatory compliance, and staff teams.
1. To coordinate and have responsibility for the overall management of the New Dawn Day Opportunities Services

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Role Purpose
Action Earth offers grants to help urban communities to respond to our nature and climate crises. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, these nature grants support volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities in practical outdoor activities in Scotland’s cities, towns and villages.
We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and organised Engagement Manager to join our Action Earh team in a mainly administrative role. The right candidate would be someone who can work flexibly and demonstrate an understanding and total commitment to our organisational values. You will be joining an existing team of one part time Engagement Manager and a long-term volunteer who supports the project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Administration tasks including maintaining effective and accessible records using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, MailChimp and a CRM.
· Ensure monitoring, impact and evaluation information is collected
· To ensure that Action Earth meets it’s agreed targets, reporting format and schedule.
· Updating social media channels.
· Help create newsletters and other promotional materials

About the role
As Corporate Fundraiser, you'll develop and manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, helping businesses engage with Zoe's Place through charity partnerships, sponsorship, employee fundraising, payroll giving and events. You'll work closely with existing supporters to maximise income and engagement, while also identifying and securing new opportunities across the local business community.
You'll have the chance to represent the hospice at networking events, deliver presentations, organise supporter events and create compelling proposals that inspire businesses to get involved. Alongside relationship management, you'll use the fundraising CRM to manage your pipeline, forecast income and ensure every supporter receives excellent stewardship.
No two days will be the same. One day you could be presenting to a local business, the next planning a supporter event, reconnecting with former corporate partners or developing ideas to strengthen an existing relationship.
