We are looking for a proactive self-starter to sit within a high-performing team working to raise awareness of SSAFA’s support in the South West Region of England to those in the Armed Forces Community who need it most.
With the ultimate objective being to grow SSAFA’s presence, profile, and identity, the role is responsible for all marcomms activation in the region. The role holder will work to deliver the central Fundraising, Marketing & Communications strategy.
This role reports to the Head of Communications with close alignment with colleagues across the marcomms directorate. The marcomms manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns in the South West Region of England and promoting SSAFA’s fundraising initiatives and services. You’ll identify the areas of greatest impact and cut through, deliver integrated awareness campaigns and secure media coverage of fundraising events. Crucially, you’ll be able to identify stories which resonate with our target audience and write calls to action.
With a heavy focus on media and PR activity, key to the role is building strong relationships and contacts with relevant stakeholders in your region including media representatives, employees, volunteers, and case study beneficiaries.
About the team
The Communications team is a small but dynamic group of individuals with strong skillsets across Public Relations, Storytelling (case studies) and Internal Communications. The team is a mix of ex-forces and civilians, and they are always sharing knowledge and expertise with each other.
You will work closely across all directorates within SSAFA, with a focus in South West, to garner information and create compelling marcomms campaigns and activities to raise awareness of SSAFA’s work.

The Role:
The Marketing Manager will work closely with Directors and colleagues to drive engagement, growth, income generation, and brand visibility across Schools North East and its associated programmes. Job Summary
Sitting within the Product Management Team, the Dynamics 365 (CRM) Product Manager is responsible for the Dynamics 365 and Microsoft product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure revenue and product optimisation goals are met. Responsibilities
Support on delivery of the Challenge Events portfolio, ensuring Challenge Event Fundraisers are staying on track - such as completing registration forms on time, and setting up fundraising pages
Provide end-to-end operational support for fundraising events, including liaising with venues, partners and suppliers, obtaining quotes, coordinating travel and logistics, working with production teams, preparing materials, producing risk assessments, and creation of event documentation such as briefs, schedules and post-event evaluations

Working with housing associations and other local partners, we run free tutoring programmes for primary school children and their families, providing access to vital educational support to those who need it most. Job Description
The Programme Officer will be responsible for the management and overall delivery of their designated programmes.This role will involve managing relationships with tutors, parents and clients, while collecting robust qualitative and quantitative data to measure the impact and build the success of our work. This is a critical role, leading on the delivery and evaluation of multiple programmes, managing key stakeholder relationships, and contributing to the sustainability and growth of our work in a challenging funding climate.
This role will be focused on our growing work in Lewisham, a priority area for TU with high need, multi-year commitment from a range of partners, and incredible family engagement. Working alongside local schools, livery companies, and housing providers, the Programme Officer will be tasked with continuing to develop and expand our work in the borough, in line with our three-year strategic plan for the borough.

Lyme Resource Centre (LRC) is a charity with a mission to minimise risk of Lyme disease whilst encouraging the enjoyment of outdoor activities. This goal is achieved through education of the public and healthcare professionals about ticks and Lyme disease.
The charity has grown significantly over the past couple of years, and now needs a suitably talented individual to work with the Trustees, to lead the charity into its next phase of development.
This is a great opportunity to play a defining role at an exciting stage of LRC’s evolution.
All of LRC’s existing team are highly committed volunteers - this will be the charity’s first step into a paid role.
·Work with LRC Trustees to provide charity leadership and the continuing evolution of the charity
·Assist Trustees in shaping the charity’s direction and strategy
·Review, evolve and manage the subsequent change in the charity’s operational structure and ways of working to ensure efficiency & effectiveness
·Advise Trustees on investment in infrastructure and other resources needed to evolve the charity
·Lead development and delivery of annual operational plan, identify and managing risks
·Develop, implement annual, medium-term budgets and ensure funding matches requirements
·Provide Trustees with timely updates, reports of progress vs plan
·Oversee development and implementation of a marketing and communications plan
·Be involved with or lead selected projects as relevant and agreed
·Ensure the charity is compliant with relevant legislation, including but not exclusive too - equality, diversity, health and safety, data privacy
