For Europe's largest infrastructure project, based in Birmingham, we're recruiting a Finance Business Partner for the Corporate Services Directorate. Working within central finance, this role reports to the Head of Finance and provides financial support and critical analytical challenge to directorates including HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Facilities to ensure the organisation achieves financial targets and delivers value for money within the budgets set by the comprehensive spending review.

Main Duties:

• Responsible for looking after a portfolio of directorates (HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Facilities) and the corporate expenditure in the monthly financial accounts
• Drive consistent month-end reporting and review of all Corporate Directorate (c£200M)
• Lead business planning and forecasting processes, providing guidance on planning principles and expectations
• Provide Workforce Actual costs and forecast information to inform programme estimates
• Challenge budget holders to achieve workforce objectives
• Review financial endorsement of Change and Investments, provide assurance to Finance Director that reporting expenditure and contract payments are appropriate
• Work to NAO Audits as required; Liaise regularly with Corporate Directors, Procurement and Supply Chain, Business Managers, Finance Teams and Corporate Finance Teams

Person Specification:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with strong experience of supporting annual business planning, budget setting, and forecasting processes
• Strong skills in business partnering non-finance managers including working with Service / Operational Directors, budget holders, Business Managers, HR, and wider Finance teams
• Knowledge of Oracle accounting systems or other similar ERP systems
• Ability to use Excel to analyse large and complex data sets and provide useful management information
• Ability to critically review and challenge forecasts, assessing affordability, value for money and the impact om programme delivery
• Ideally experience from construction, travel, rail or infrastructure would be great!

HT is a growing church with around 1,000 people (including children, young people, students, and adults), 34 staff, and an annual turnover of around £1.5 million. Our finances are also growing and becoming more complex, and we are looking for a capable and enthusiastic Finance Officer to facilitate our continued growth.

As Finance Officer, you will be directly or indirectly responsible for all aspects of church finances – from managing the day-to-day running of the church finances to ensuring all transactions are posted and reconciled, producing timely, accurate, and insightful monthly financial information, and working with the auditors to produce a set of audited accounts at the end of the financial year.

While you will be day-to-day line managed by the Operations Director, you will work closely with the Treasurer, who will oversee you and advise you on financial aspects of your work.

The COO will translate BLiM's mission and strategy and ensure its well-run, properly resourced, with its ambitious day-to-day delivery. You will free the CEO to focus on strategic leadership and external influence by owning operations, people management, financial oversight and internal systems.

The COO will be a senior leader who shapes organisational culture, makes operational decisions, manages complex stakeholder relationships and drives the performance of a passionate, high-commitment team. You will be the person the organisation looks to when it needs clarity, stability and momentum.

• Significant experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally as a COO, Head of Operations or Director of Operations in a charity, social enterprise or purpose-driven organisation.

• Demonstrable track record of building and improving operational infrastructure: systems, processes, policies and ways of working that make organisations more effective and resilient.

• Proven people management experience, including line management of senior staff, performance development, recruitment and team culture-building.

• Strong financial literacy, including experience of budget management, grant compliance, financial reporting and working with a board finance function.

About The Drive Partnership 

The Drive Partnership, established by Respect, SafeLives, and Social Finance in 2015, is working to end domestic abuse and protect victim-survivors by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. The Drive Partnership does this through the development of innovative perpetrator responses and advocating for systems and policy change to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators to increase the safety and freedom of all adult and child victim-survivors. 

Purpose

Following a four-year investment from the Home Office announced in July 2025, the Drive Project – the Drive Partnership’s flagship intervention for high-risk, high-harm and serial perpetrators of domestic abuse – will expand across all areas in England and Wales, with the vast majority of funding flowing directly to local perpetrator services and victim-survivor services by nature of the Drive Project’s model. 

To support the safe implementation of the expansion of the Drive Project intervention, we are seeking a proactive, solution focused individual to work with Drive Partnership and SafeLives, and our delivery sites to ensure our Data Protection policies and practice are up to date, and being consistently adhered to.

This is a new role and will spend two days working to support the Drive Partnership and one day to support SafeLives directly. For more information on SafeLives and the Drive Partnership, please see below.

Project Manager (Cascade Wellbeing Project)

Part Time – 21 hours (3 days) per week

Salary £24,000 (£40,000 FTE)

We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver the Cascade Project – a partnership between the St Benedict’s Centre and the Diocese of Rochester. The project aims to develop a programme of initiatives and interventions to support frontline church leaders (lay and ordained, including Headteachers of church schools) with their wellbeing.

The project has been under development for the past year. The Project Manager will lead the project from development to implementation. Funding has been committed by the Church Commissioners for the first 4 years of the implementation period.

The Project Manager will provide overall leadership for the Cascade project, taking responsibility for setting culture and strategy and vision, developing strong and successful relationships with key external partners, delivering an imaginative programme (in person and online) to support the wellbeing of lay and ordained church leaders (including Headteachers of Church Schools) in the Diocese of Rochester and beyond, and ensuring that there are sufficient resources available for Cascade to flourish.

Candidates should have experience of leadership in a church setting with project management experience.  You should have an understanding of wellbeing issues for frontline workers and knowledge of a variety of therapeutic processes and other interventions.  You will have excellent organisational and communications skills.

As the Society approaches its 200th anniversary in 2030, with ambitious associated goals, ensuring that we continue to have the best possible leadership team in place has never been more relevant.

With the approaching retirement of our current Director of Finance & Services, we are looking for an exceptional, entrepreneurial senior leader with proven ability to balance strategic and operational impact.

Whilst an executive level financial background is a given, we are additionally seeking an individual who has led other functions and developed the professionals within them. This role leads a diverse team of 10, spanning: Finance, Facilities & Estates, IT & Database Administration, and HR. It also holds additional responsibility for: Safeguarding, Data Protection, Risk Management, Pensions, Company Secretarial, Insurance & Legal.

We have exciting plans for our building, at the heart of London’s Exhibition Road Cultural Quarter, optimizing and developing this space as a gathering point of global significance and influence for people intent on making a positive difference to the world. Accordingly, we are particularly interested in individuals who bring with them strong programme management skills and experience of managing heritage estate projects operationally, in partnership with external consultants.

The successful candidate will drive and deliver effective and efficient financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, controls, operations, and management, whilst continuing to improve the Society’s processes and systems.

Salary and Benefits

This is a permanent post. We welcome requests for flexible working arrangements, including hybrid and part time working. This is looked at on a case-by-case basis, balancing the Society’s needs with the successful candidate’s other commitments, to support a good work-life balance. The salary range for this post is c£100,000+ (FTE) per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The post is based in Kensington, London.

Rowner Community Trust (RCT) is recruiting a Business Lead which will proactively contribute to RCT becoming a more effective and sustainable resident-first organisation and help us to ensure the quality of RCT’s delivery with/by residents.

They will lead on business development, including profitable venue operations and income diversification, ensuring a friendly and high-quality approach to the community levy and help RCT become sustainable (in all senses). You will help us ensure the smooth operations of RCT i.e. accessible and safe venues, HR processes and supporting resident involvement etc. You will also work with the Chief Officer to help provide timely financial and programme monitoring and reporting for sponsors, RCT Board, levy payers etc and help to develop business cases/plans and funding applications.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a willingness to be innovative and be able to lead (with the whole team) on innovation and ensuring cost-effective business processes ensuring that there is a contemporary resident-focused and ‘easy’ approach.

We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial person, and we expect that the successful candidate would have a business management qualification (or equivalent) at a degree level, have experience in cost-effective innovation and have a positive and can-do ‘customer’-focused approach and be able to work positively as part of a diverse team including involved residents.

Job Description - Business Lead (22.5 hours) £33,000 pro-rata

Job Purpose:

Proactively contribute to RCT becoming an effective and sustainable organisation and ensure that organisational resources are available to enable the work of RCT with/by residents.

Key Objectives:

1. Proactively contribute to the development of the organisation and positively lead on business development including profitable venue operations , a high - quality approach to the community levy, i ncome diversification and help RCT r each sustainability (in all senses).

2. Ensure the smooth operations of RCT to enable programme delivery by the staff team, collaborating organisations and local residents including accessible and safe venues, HR, relevant regulatory compliance, and safe resident involvement .

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations & Programmes Support Officer to play a vital role in the smooth running of our small charity strengthening London’s communities. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both programme delivery and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities:

Operations support

• Maintain and improve key systems and processes, including CRM data, mailing lists, and shared platforms like SharePoint

Programme and Communications support

Are you a payroll professional who loves precision, thrives on responsibility, and enjoys making a real difference behind the scenes? North Hampshire Urgent Care (NHUC) is looking for a motivated and detail‑driven Payroll & Pensions Officer to join our friendly Finance Team in a part‑time role.

Working as part of a supportive job‑share, you’ll help deliver a smooth, accurate monthly payroll for around 275 employees, support GP contractor payments, and ensure compliance with NHS Pension Scheme requirements. Your work will directly support our Same Day Care, TalkPlus and Head Office teams - the people delivering vital care to our communities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Undertake the following tasks in relation to the monthly payroll process with the support of the Finance Team as required.

• Update employee tax code changes as advised by HMRC.
• Update the Sage 50 payroll system for changes in respect of Same Day Care employees. This includes starters, leavers, changes in pay rates, personal details etc.
• Process extra hours claims and variations as advised by the HR team
• Update salaried staff Same Day Care RotaMaster schedules for any changes, prepare import schedule and import pay data into Sage 50 payroll.
• Review, retrieve and reconcile pay data from RotaMaster (RM) and import Same Day Care pay data into Sage 50 Payroll.
• Check and reconcile payroll data and produce associated reports
