As Gaming Partnerships Executive, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing gaming partners, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and maximise their involvement in War Child campaigns. You will also support new business development, helping to build a strong pipeline of prospective partners and contributing to outreach, pitching and securing new collaborations.

Working closely with the Gaming Lead and wider Philanthropy and Partnerships department, you will help shape and deliver innovative campaigns at the intersection of gaming, streaming and digital fundraising. This includes supporting key partnerships such as Jingle Jam and contributing to campaign planning and delivery across the gaming calendar.

You will act as a visible ambassador for War Child within the gaming industry, attending events, building new connections and raising the profile of our work to unlock new opportunities for collaboration and income generation.

As part of our growing Philanthropy and Partnerships department, you will work closely with colleagues across Partnerships, Communications and Digital Marketing to develop strong pitches, proposals and activations that deliver real impact for children affected by war.

The team regularly comes together in our London office for collaboration, meetings and relationship-building, and the successful candidate will be expected to attend these in person where appropriate.

Your role

The Gaming Partnerships Executive will work closely with the Gaming Lead to grow the team’s income sustainably by focusing primarily on business development and managing a portfolio of gaming relationships. You will seek out and build new relationships with developers, games publishers, platforms and gaming communities to contribute to the pipeline of new gaming partnerships and opportunities for War Child. You will also manage a portfolio of gaming relationships that will be called on to join our campaigns and activations throughout the year. As a key member of War Child’s award-winning Gaming team, you will have a direct impact on the lives of children who have been affected by conflict.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of gaming sector relationships, developing long-term engagement plans and identifying opportunities in support of our campaigns to increase strategic and income value..
• Support the delivery of our strategic partnership with Jingle Jam, as directed by the Gaming Partnerships Manager.
• With the Gaming Lead, build a pipeline of prospective gaming partners inclusive of developers, publishers, creators, platforms and the wider gaming community to support the sustainable growth of the Gaming Team.
• Personally lead on researching, approaching and securing new gaming partners, working towards your own new business target annually.
• Contribute to the development of pitches, proposals, cultivation plans and presentations to potential gaming partners
• Work collaboratively with the Gaming Team on developing and implementing the campaigns calendar.
• Build strong relationships with other teams in War Child (Partnerships, Communications, Digital Marketing), representing the Gaming Team where appropriate in working groups to enable smooth delivery of propositions, pitches, activations and campaigns.
• Act as a War Child Ambassador in the gaming industry, attending events and conferences to raise the profile of War Child and make new connections to support business development.
• Support the marketing and promotion of all gaming activations to maximise audience engagement.
• Contribute to team-wide income forecasting and annual planning processes.
• Use all tools available to ensure compliance and our ethical fundraising policy are adhered to, this includes partnership agreements, due diligence processes, CRM database management as well as GDPR and fundraising regulations.
• Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant to War Child’s Safeguarding and PSEAH (Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse & Harassment) Policies.

 You are

•  Knowledgeable about gaming or have worked in the sector and can demonstrate understanding of how to harness gaming communities and the industry more widely for fundraising purposes.
•  Familiar with digital marketing and gaming platforms & services, e.g. Steam, Twitch, YouTube, Discord and Tiltify.
•  Awareness of  creator-led fundraising and community-driven campaigns and wider gaming culture.
• Able to demonstrate success in achieving financial targets through partnership management, account management, business development or sales activity, including identifying and developing new opportunities.
• An excellent communicator, confident in building and managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders with the ability to influence and negotiate.
• Able to use audience insight, engagement data or campaign performance metrics to inform partnership activity and decision-making.

Hours:            25 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Volunteer Manager to lead the development, coordination, and growth of our volunteer programme supporting unpaid carers (both adults and young carers).

This role will focus on recruiting, training, and supporting a diverse volunteer base, including members of the public, college students, and student social workers to deliver a range of support across our services. Alongside this, the Volunteer Manager will play a key role in building internal capacity by equipping staff with the skills and confidence to effectively support volunteers in their roles. Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Recruitment & Engagement:

• Develop and deliver effective volunteer recruitment strategies

• Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and pastoral support to volunteers

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and rewarding volunteer experience

Supporting Staff to Work with Volunteers:

• Train and support internal staff to effectively supervise and work alongside volunteers
• Develop guidance, tools, and best practice resources for staff
• Promote a culture where volunteering is valued and embedded across the organisation

Quality, Safeguarding & Compliance:

• Ensure all volunteering activity is safe, ethical, and compliant with organisational policies
• Maintain accurate records of volunteer activity and engagement
• Support safeguarding processes and ensure volunteers understand their responsibilities

Service Development:

• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the volunteer programme
• Gather feedback from volunteers, staff, and service users to inform improvements

About the role 

We’re looking for a Senior Content Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You’ll lead on all content across the organisation, including two blogs (our Career Advice blog for candidates and our Recruiter Insights blog for recruiters), our email and e-newsletter copy, sales collateral, product messaging, PR campaigns and anything else needing an expert editorial eye.

The Supporter Engagement Manager position is a pivotal role in the Public Fundraising team, comprising seven specialist Fundraisers. The post-holder is responsible for driving growth in our Individual Giving programme through a mix of acquisition and retention campaigns.

Key internal relationships include the Head of Supporter Engagement and the Fundraising Management team.

The post-holder will work closely with the Fundraising Data Manager and the Community Engagement Manager on collaborative income generation and Supporter Engagement activities.

The post-holder will be instrumental in shaping the Individual Giving and Supporter cultivation strategies geared towards increasing our Cash and Regular Giving Supporter base.

The Individual Giving programme includes Cash Appeals, Regular Giving (including Door-to-Door recruitment), Hospice Lottery, Challenge Events, Legacies and Supporter Care. There is a strong focus on digital fundraising.

This role reports to the Head of Communications with close alignment with colleagues across the marcomms directorate. The marcomms manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns in the South West Region of England and promoting SSAFA’s fundraising initiatives and services. You’ll identify the areas of greatest impact and cut through, deliver integrated awareness campaigns and secure media coverage of fundraising events. Crucially, you’ll be able to identify stories which resonate with our target audience and write calls to action.

With a heavy focus on media and PR activity, key to the role is building strong relationships and contacts with relevant stakeholders in your region including media representatives, employees, volunteers, and case study beneficiaries.

About the team

The Communications team is a small but dynamic group of individuals with strong skillsets across Public Relations, Storytelling (case studies) and Internal Communications. The team is a mix of ex-forces and civilians, and they are always sharing knowledge and expertise with each other.

You will work closely across all directorates within SSAFA, with a focus in South West, to garner information and create compelling marcomms campaigns and activities to raise awareness of SSAFA’s work.

About the role

The Trusts & Statutory Fundraising Manager will play a key role in delivering Sands’ ambitious income growth plans and strengthening long-term philanthropic partnerships that support Sands’ work to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. 

Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy Manager and sitting within the Partnerships & Philanthropy Team, the role will lead the development and growth of a strategic portfolio of trusts, foundations and statutory funders, securing significant multi-year income and building long-term relationships with supporters and partners. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and relationship-driven fundraiser to help shape and grow a high-potential area of fundraising at Sands. The postholder will work closely with senior colleagues across research, training, bereavement support and engagement teams to develop compelling funding propositions aligned to Sands’ strategic priorities. 

The role combines strategic planning, relationship management and high-quality bid writing, alongside leadership of the trusts pipeline, stewardship activity, cross-team collaboration and line management of a Trusts Fundraiser. 

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and strategic thinker with experience securing five and six-figure grants, developing funder relationships and translating complex programmes into compelling, impact-led cases for support. 

Includes line management of one Trusts Fundraiser. 

Main Responsibilities

The overall aims of this role are to: 

• lead and grow Sands’ trusts, foundations and statutory fundraising programme, securing significant multi-year income in support of Sands’ strategic priorities

The Data Management and Insight Officer will support the day-to-day management of White Ribbon’s data systems, including CRM (Zoho Bigin) and email marketing processes, website data capture, reporting and audience journeys. The Public Interest News Foundation (PINF) is the UK’s first charity that exists to promote high-quality journalism. Last year, we launched an ambitious ten-year mission to regenerate local news in the UK. We believe that local news is a vital part of the fabric of local communities, drawing people together around shared facts and pride in place at a time of disinformation and division.

We are pursuing our mission by (1) sourcing new funds for local news; (2) advocating for supportive government policies; and (3) celebrating local news providers from the UK and around the world that are Accountable, Sustainable, in the Public interest, Innovative, Representative and Engaging (ASPIRE).

Over the last year, we have successfully encouraged the UK Government to launch an unprecedented new £12m Local News Fund. We have also built support for our mission from US and UK donors. As Legacy and In-Memory Giving Manager (Maternity Cover), you will lead one of CHAS’s most meaningful income streams at a pivotal moment, inspiring supporters to create lasting impact through gifts in Wills and in memory of loved ones.

In this role you will lead, develop and deliver CHAS’s legacy and in‑memory giving strategy and campaigns, strengthening relationships with supporters and colleagues to grow long‑term income and lifetime value.
