We are looking for Senior Supporter Acquisition Manager to join our Fundraising directorate and lead a brilliant team to develop and implement a range of supporter acquisition marketing programmes and to achieve the growth ambitions of our Fundraising strategy.
The Supporter Acquisition team is responsible for all marketing to attract new supporters across a large portfolio of appeals/products and media. We are looking for someone to join us who has significant expertise with a wide range of marketing channels and can really add value to large well-established programmes with their experience, knowledge and drive to continually improve, identify appropriate new opportunities and shape supporter acquisition programmes.
The role involves managing an experienced team of two managers and a co-ordinator, and leading relationships with a number of suppliers. The marketing programmes currently include face-to-face fundraising (from stands in retail space or at expos/outdoor events), DRTV and other forms of advertising, print – door drops/partially addressed mail/inserts and payroll giving. An important part of the role is developing advertising for the nation’s largest charity appeal, the Poppy Appeal each November.

As an experienced senior marketing manager, you will hit the ground running to optimally deliver plans with your team and whilst helping to shape programme strategies and review supply requirements. You won’t shy away from complexity and getting to grips with the details of the broad array of appeals/products your team will be marketing and associated systems, budgeting, reporting and KPI measurements for each of them. Our new fundraising strategy is called ‘Three Giants’ to focus our income generation work on protecting and strengthening on the three vital areas of the Poppy Appeal, our Individual Giving and Legacy activities. About the role
The London Library is looking for an Acquisitions and Discovery Assistant to assist in the acquisition and management of Library E-resources and print resources.
The role includes supporting the successful acquisition and seamless delivery of electronic resources to library users, utilising and maintaining relevant library systems and records; assisting purchasing decisions and supporting licensing, ordering and payment processes; verifying access, liaising with suppliers & Library IT, and ensuring correct metadata is presented to users; plus monitoring resource use and collecting data for the evaluation of subscriptions. There is the opportunity to support membership and services, including giving tours to prospective members.
In addition to assisting with the administration of E-books, the role requires processes associated with the management of the print journal collection, including serials and donated materials, such as checking in new issues and ensuring publications are shelved correctly, applying stamps, recording invoices, recording changes in publishers' information and preparing completed volumes of serial parts for binding and checking.
There is potential to grow and develop the role, which will join our busy Acquisitions and Discovery team and assisting with administrative tasks associated with cataloguing along with supporting the Library’s internal Digitisation processes as required.

Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to get on with a wide variety of people, even under pressure, you will have proven experience of working in a Library environment and of basic clerical/administrative routines.

About the role
- This is an exciting time for the Fundraising manager to join the team to aid in the income growth for Christ Church and St. Matthew's, including support for Agape, the community missional project.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising events team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Now has built up a strong events function, with community and events currently accounting for nearly a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.
We are now looking for an experienced and passionate events manager to lead a team and help us to continue to deliver our targets and identify new opportunities for our challenge events portfolio. This currently comprises of running events, triathlons, cycling events, overseas and UK challenges. You’ll support the creation and delivery of the events strategy, developing a varied and impactful portfolio which positions Breast Cancer Now as the go-to charity for events.
With the support of the senior events manager, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of the Great North Run and Women V Cancer partnership. The post holder will also have their own budget areas working to agreed targets, maximising income, and minimising expenditure through innovative stewardship and strong budget management to maintain engagement and retention of supporters. They will also have line management (not all direct) for 1 event officer, 1 event executive and 1 event assistant.
About you
We’re looking for someone with experience of successfully delivering events programmes, including recruitment of participants, development of supporter journeys and stewardship communications to meet net income and supporter retention targets.
You’ll be an excellent relationship builder, with knowledge of the charity events sector. You’ll be an experienced line manager able to develop your line reports. You’ll also have demonstrable knowledge of setting and meeting financial targets to ensure a good return of investment for the charity.
As well as leading a high performing team we are looking for someone with experience of successfully delivering marketing and recruitment plans, developing supporter journeys and stewardship communications. Role Purpose
Volunteering Matters is recruiting an Engagement Manager to join their Youth Social Action Team (YSA) in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the new National Citizenship Service (NCS) programme, contributing to the positive development of young people across Suffolk. As part of the #iWill Movement, this role involves coordinating youth social action initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders and empowering young people to shape their communities.
This is a Hybrid role, working from home as well as across Suffolk. The successful applicant will become part of our dynamic Youth Social Action Team and will be part of shaping our vision in embedding #iWill movement and Volunteering Matters values across Suffolk, championing the voices of all young people. What will you be doing?

The purpose of the role is to assist the Regional Service Manager by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the registered service. Alongside the Regional Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service.
As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an exemplary role model.
As a Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. We provide 24/7 support to some people, so you will need to have flexibility to work shifts on a rota'd basis, including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is essential for the role.
