The Eve Appeal, working together with the Department of Health and Social Care, is delivering a groundbreaking programme on gynaecological health to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in London and beyond.

We are entering the final year of the programme and pivotal to its success will be bringing new SMEs on board so that we can deliver our health information to their staff. Up until March 31st 2025 there is no charge for SMEs to join the programme.

As Sales & Marketing Executive you will lead on researching and approaching new SMEs to joint the programme, complete all necessary contracts, lead on overall project management and co-ordination of the program, liaise with our external evaluators on monitoring and evaluation and other administrative tasks as directed.

This role will also line manage the Programme Leads – our staff who visit SMEs and deliver our health information talks.

No formal qualifications are needed for this role, nor is previous charity sector experience. What is important are the skills, experiences and potential you bring.

Head of Communications & Marketing

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Baby Lifeline as Head of Communications and Marketing. You will play a critical role in supporting Baby Lifeline to deliver its important mission, leading the development and delivery of our strategic communications and marketing plan. Together, these will grow awareness of and engagement with our brand and increase donations.

Head of Communications and Marketing Responsibilities:

· Providing strategic communications and marketing counsel to the Chief Executive

· Devising results-driven marketing campaigns to grow our audience and drive charity donations and fundraising

· Devising creative media engagement strategies, leading on proactive and reactive media relations including press releases, statements, interviews, and enquiries

· Building relationships with relevant professionals and experts within healthcare, to help drive sign-ups to events and training

· Managing and influencing relationships with key external influencers, such as journalists, producers, and celebrity VIP ambassadors

· Overseeing our website and social media channels, developing creative content that drives growth, reach and engagement across channels 

· Line managing a Digital Marketing Manager on the effective day to day delivery of website and social media activity; working with external agencies where appropriate

· Understanding what metrics to use as a measure of success, based on key objectives – and to report on these confidently

· Researching and evaluating the latest trends within the charity sector and using these to advance Baby Lifeline communications and marketing activity

· Advising and working with Baby Lifeline Training Ltd on relevant projects

As Head of Communications & Marketing, you will have:

· Experience in a similar communications or marketing role

· A keen eye for marketing design – experience creating social media assets is preferable

· Self-motivation and passion about the opportunities that can come from marketing, communications, and social media

· Strong written communication skills and copywriting capabilities

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· A degree in marketing and/or PR or equivalent is desirable

· Health/charity sector experience is desirable but not essential

What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £35,000 - £39,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

You’ll start on 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. We are now looking to appoint a Marketing Officer who will manage the tactical delivery of a range of strategies designed to support Department for Education funded contracts, membership engagement, participation, and growth, and to support corporate and delivery partners acting on behalf of the ETF 

Your profile:

The role will report into the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver results-led marketing strategies for DfE-funded contracts designed to meet KPIs, identify and engage audiences, and raise awareness of the offer within the sector.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of supporting the development and implementation of successful marketing strategies.
• Experience of using appropriate marketing tactics to meet project KPIs, including email marketing, advertising, social media, and direct mail.
• Experience of content creation, including development of multi-media assets.
• Experience of using a CRM for marketing purposes.
• Experience of email marketing, including building, testing, monitoring, and adapting campaign as needed to ensure effectiveness.
• Experience of brand guardianship.
• Knowledge of GDPR, particularly in relation to using data for marketing.

Our consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families, in the hospice and at home.

The Role:

The Marketing Assistant will play a key role supporting the Marketing & Communications team in implementing the integrated communications strategy and providing marketing support for the promotion of hospice services and income generation activity.

Your day-to-day tasks will be varied, but typically will include assisting with delivering our social media calendar, creating engaging content for use across our communication channels, writing copy for press releases and arranging photo calls, assisting in print and publication production, and updating content on the website.

What you need:

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar marketing role or have a qualification in marketing or communications and demonstrate a strong team ethic and creative flair. You must be highly organised and have excellent communication and relationship building skills. You’ll need to be able to work well within a busy team and able to work on a number of projects simultaneously.

You will have demonstrable experience in product/portfolio lifecycle management as well as a proven track record of successfully developing a cohesive portfolio strategy. You will need significant experience of meeting new business targets and driving business growth, as well as the development of a new business pipeline.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to introduce new products and services that will support our growth and charitable impact. The role will include responsibility for meeting a new business target, through lead generation. This is an important and dynamic role that will require strategic thinking and a strongly collaborative approach.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the existing product portfolio, reviewing the existing offering in relation to market trends, client needs, the competitive landscape and the Charity's strategic goals
• Develop detailed product knowledge across the portfolio of products, leading development activity for each area alongside ongoing assessment of financial performance and product/service viability.
• Recommend and oversee product improvements, using market demand and customer and colleague feedback to identify and prioritise change.
• Working with the Chief Operating Officer and service leads to understand trends and opportunities across the portfolio and associated markets.
• Engage with expert colleagues from across the organisation to understand and support the development of their product ideas, evaluating these against internal and external factors including feasibility, expected value, and market demand.
• Financial and strategic modelling of new product options based on market demand, fit to Picker strategy, impact/income potential, strength of offering and ability to reach target audience.
• Work in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, Head of Service Delivery, service leads, and the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop marketing plans to support demand generation on a thematic basis, providing expert product knowledge, customer insight and new business leads.

About You

You will have:

• Demonstrable experiences in product/portfolio lifecycle management.
• Demonstrable experience of managing project timetables, including reviewing progress and amending plans to address changing requirements 
• Proven track record of successfully developing a cohesive portfolio strategy that supports brand integrity/growth, whilst growing individual business lines/products/services
• Significant experience of meeting product/service business targets. Including driving business growth with new services and/or in new markets     
• Experience of success in the development and qualification of a new business pipeline (including campaign management and follow-up)
• Demonstrable leadership skills, with the ability to lead projects through to successful completion
• High levels of IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams  and Dynamics
• Highly numerate and confident in dealing with quantitative data including management and financial information 
• Ability to work collaboratively at corporate and departmental levels and, where necessary, with external suppliers and contacts 
• Excellent grasp of the English language in the business context 
• Ability to apply innovative thinking to identify how new research methodologies could be beneficial to the organisation and its clients
