We are dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change. Our innovative education, employment, house and well-being services address individual needs and help homeless people to transform their lives.

About the role

We have a rewarding vacancy in our Chief Executive’s Office for an exceptional Executive Assistant. This isn’t a traditional 1:1 role. You will work closely alongside two other EAs in a small executive support team, reporting to the Head of Chief Executive’s Office.
Together, you would enjoy the responsibility of providing high quality support to our Senior Management Team, consisting of the Chief Executive and five directors, you would predominantly work in support of the Director of Fundraising and Director of Organisational Development. It’s a great role in a friendly team and would see you gain a unique insight into the breadth of Crisis’ work. We have a collaborative culture and we’re looking for someone proactive and flexible to join us in providing first class support.

Knowledge/Skills and Experience:

About you

We’re looking for previous experience, ideally within the charity sector, of supporting senior staff. Naturally, you’ll be an adept diary manager with a brilliant eye for detail. You’ll be an organisational guru who takes shifting priorities in your stride.

Supporting a group of Directors across different disciplines, means you will need to be skilled at managing conflicting priorities and have well developed stakeholder management skills. You will be a confident and effective communicator both in person and in writing.

Alongside strong organisational skill and the ability and motivation to provide an exceptional service to the Senior Management Team, you will have an understanding of the work that Crisis does and a commitment to our purpose and values.
