Job description

The organisation:

A major social justice and welfare charity

 

The role:

To lead a team to maximise awareness of social justice campaigns through print, digital and broadcast media

To line manage 2 members of staff and oversee the work of 6 regional media officers.

To lead campaigning in the media and also react to opportunities and handle crisis communications.

 

The candidate:

Experienced team and project management in a media or communications context

Significant press, media or journalism experience.

Proven and repeated success in gaining national and regional media coverage.
